Butterwick Preschool is conveniently situated on the same site as Butterwick Primary school. The team is dedicated to offering the highest quality of care and education for children aged 9 months to 11 years. The village is just a three-minute drive from the main A52 route to Skegness making Butterwick an ideal setting for commuting and local parents alike. The preschool is easy to find, friendly and has the local community at the heart of what the team do.

At Butterwick Preschool, staff nurture children to become independent, caring and resourceful members of society with family values and community at the heart of what they do. Established over 20 years ago, they pride themselves on being an integral part of not only the early education of local children but as an extension of support for families. They strive to give back to the community through their links with Butterwick Primary school and local businesses too.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all for making my granddaughter have a lovely time at nursery. She has had lots of fun and her confidence has come on so much. Thank you so much for all your hard work and for being such lovely, caring preschool teachers to our granddaughter over the last year.
I would highly recommend this nursery school, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and my granddaughter is so happy here.

I drop off and collect my niece from here regularly. She loves going in and the staff are so kind and welcoming every time. The nursery is always really clean and well-presented. My niece always comes out telling me all the things she got up to. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone. By

The girls at Butterwick are absolutely outstanding, they ensure my daughter goes in incredibly happy and always comes out with a big smile on her face. I’m always kept updated on how she is doing and her progression. I couldn’t ask for a better preschool for my daughter and I am so pleased I chose this
one. By far the best preschool!

Outstanding experience from all members of staff. Had parents evening a couple of weeks ago and the staff member went into plenty of detail of what the children get up to on a daily basis. Overall, I’m very happy and would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I really like how my son is greeted and taken in and I like how he comes out happy and has a clean nappy and looks like he's had a lot of fun. He always comes home telling us about his day, he's been made to feel welcome and fitted in lovely. The girls really make him feel welcome and he's always busy.

My child is very happy going to this nursery. He's learned a lot. The ladies in the nursery offer a variety of games that my child tells me about at home. The ladies are always nice. I highly recommend this nursery.

I am always amazed at the range of things my little one does at Butterwick Pre-School. She loves telling me all about her day when I pick her up and I honestly don't know how they manage to fit so much into one day! She goes into Butterwick Pre-School smiling and happy and comes out just the same. She's
actually disappointed on her days off that she's not going in! She loves all of the staff and talks about them a lot at home. Her personality and skills have grown so much since she's been attending and I honestly couldn't have found anywhere better for her!

My daughter attends Butterwick Pre-School one day a week alongside another setting. She has struggled to settle, but I feel so reassured that all of the ladies are so lovely, they treat her like their own - providing love and care. She is kept busy, with constant activities and communication is brilliant.
As parents, you are kept up to date and the parents' app is frequently updated.

Really pleased with this little nursery my child always seems happy to be there and spends a lot of time both indoors and outside. I love the fact they update his day too. He talks about friends here and the staff regularly.

The help Butterwick Pre-School have provided to develop my daughter's emotions, intelligence and confidence and all-round happiness, is something I will always be grateful for. Her confidence. that shines through at school now, is what they have helped me with, whilst she was with them for three years

I thought moving my son from another nursery setting would be difficult. Although it had its challenges at first, he has settled really well thanks to the care and clear passion the staff have for the children. The activities are creative and his speech has come on leaps and bounds!

Highly recommended. The ladies who run the pre-school really do go above and beyond for all the children who attend/attended as well as the parents/grandparents too, making you feel like one big family. There are very welcoming, always keeping you informed on updates in regards to day-to-day activities
and information on the app. I definitely made the right decision choosing this setting and I'm very thankful that my child got the pleasure to attend to help support learning, have fun and guide her on her way to primary school.

So pleased we found such a wonderful after-school club where my son feels safe and happy. The amazing manager moved up in her career and good for her, she was amazing. She leaves behind a truly fantastic team that genuinely cares and creates a happy environment for all the children. My son loves coming
to see four members of staff in particular and the rest of the fantastic team. I hear the names of three of the staff members all the time when he comes home smiling, I hope they know what a lovely positive impact they have upon the children. My son will always remember one member of staff, in particular, cheering him on at sports day, which meant a lot to him! My daughter recently moved up to secondary school, but used the after-school club and she loved six staff members in particular and all the team. A big thank you to all of you for looking after her.

My daughter loves going to this preschool. She struggled to settle at first as she was only used to being left with family but each day got easier and every day she had a fantastic time. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff here have been brilliant with her.
My daughter always has lots to tell
me about her day when I pick her up, she is always excited to go and see her friends and 'her ladies' as she calls them. She learns lots of songs and loves to sing. I don't actually think there is anything she doesn't enjoy here. She comes home every day happy and tired out. The lovely ladies have become like family to her and she talks about them a lot. She will definitely miss them all once she leaves to go to big school. I love to see the photos of what she's been up to on the app and she gets excited when she's telling us what she was doing. They have a wide range of activities for them all to enjoy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a preschool.

I cannot say enough good things about this setting. The staff are super friendly, supportive and really try their absolute best to help out with any changes or issues I have. They really take the time to get to know each individual child and what they need. My son absolutely loves going to school and
coming home to tell me about all the fun things he's been doing throughout the day. I'm always kept up to date with activities he's carried out including pictures. Would 10/10 recommend this setting for your child.

My little girl started nursery in January/February time. She settled in straight away and absolutely loves attending Butterwick Nursery. I’m so happy I choose to send my daughter there. Lorna Marshall

Job Title: Director of Education

I am a qualified teacher for children aged 3-7. This gives me the knowledge and experience to implement our educational curriculum in a way that supports children through their early years journey and will stay with them throughout their school transition and beyond. I am extremely passionate about our children gaining experiences in our settings far beyond the realms of a typical nursery or preschool so that our children develop a love of learning, exploring and being curious about the world around them.


Outside of work I am a mummy to two daughters aged 10 and 2 years old who keep me on my toes but also my inspiration for my career. We love the theatre, animals big and small and camping. We are big foodies so enjoy going to different restaurants together after one of our little family adventures. As I get older I am trying to travel more and experience new places and culture.
