Albion House Day Nursery located in Grantham, offers quality childcare for children aged from birth to eight years in a fun, happy and stimulating environment.

The nursery consists of three age specific rooms with a secure well equipped outdoor area.

The first floor houses the toddler and preschool rooms, which incorporates a range of child-height furniture, toys and play areas. Children have the option for free play and organised adult led activities throughout the day to encourage independency. The toilets are located nearby and staff are happy to help with toilet training.

The babies' room can be found on the ground floor. This room has been designed as a sitting room and offers a home-from-home environment where sleep and meal routines can be followed to ensure babies feel safe and comfortable. Babies are encouraged to enjoy activities with sand, water, painting and even jelly play alongside lots of quite time, cuddles and singing.

The garden provides a safe and fun play area and includes climbing equipment, a playhouse, a sandpit, mud kitchen, digging area, and a patch where children grow their own plants.

All staff are NVQ qualified and each child is assigned a key person. Breakfast and lunch are included in the fees. It offers funded places for 2, 3 and 4-year olds, (15 and 30 hours). More information available on request.

Due to moving towns, I had to find a new nursery for my 2-year-old who had been at his then nursery for 18 months! As a parent, this was quite daunting and after viewing several nurseries in the area, I went along to Albion where I met everyone.
First of all, they fully understood what I needed and
wanted from not just a nursery but staff and also as my child has a few medical issues and allergies. Soon after meeting all staff, I think my mind was pretty made up. My son has now been at Albion for 6 months and has come on in leaps and bounds. I’m amazed at everything especially his speech from being there just the few months! I can be a bit of a fussy parent and staff are absolutely fabulous with both me and my son. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone I know and I’m genuinely glad I chose to put my son in here.

Between my three children, they have been going to Albion House for four and a half years. The staff are wonderful and my children always enjoy their time there. They have a good mixture of indoor and outdoor activities with lots of learning and play.

My daughter has attended Albion nursery since I returned to work when she was 6 months old, she is now 3. My son also attended the nursery from a young age so I have always been confident in Albion nursery for providing a loving home from home whilst she was young, and a fun way of educating her as
she grew. She has really strong relationships with all of the staff and is happy to go in the mornings. I’m so happy with Albion nursery and the care they provide for my daughter.

Albion nursery has been simply an amazing place for my daughter to grow and learn.


Not your usual inner town nursery, it is very progressive with their learning and playing. Activities such as forest school, French and regular outdoor walks and trips all based on learning are the norm at Albion and

not one-offs.


My child has loved being there and feels like it's her responsibility to be there and play, a bit like her own little job! The staff have all been wonderful, with great communication throughout my child's 3 years there.

The surroundings for the children are very very good, the baby room and for the little ones has been refurbished to a very high standard and so has the kitchen facilities.


As a daddy to a daughter who has thrived and grown at Albion, I would recommend the nursery to anyone who asked.

The ladies who look after my daughter are always friendly, definitely put her developmental needs in line with her social ones and always have plenty to tell me at the end of the day.
The tapestry app that is used is really helpful and gives a good insight as to what is being taught.
My daughter
definitely has come on leaps and bounds since starting 2 years ago.
I would recommend them to anyone. A really friendly, homely place to take my girl. I’m having another child and won’t hesitate to send it to Albion.

Excellent nursery. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. My children both love it, never have any tears when dropping them off.

Excellent staff, who engage with the children. My son always talks about his days at nursery and is excited each day we go. So that in itself is a fab reference. I can very highly recommend the baby room, and the staff. They really took good care of him and can't speak more highly of them and the service

Albion nursery is wonderful for my little boy. He's thrived during his time there. He's so confident and helpful and really cares about the ladies there as well as the friends he's made.


Also, I find it extremely easy to approach the ladies with any concerns I have or to ask about my son's day and

I'm regularly given the opportunities to go through his work and progress that they keep record of. It really helps me to keep up with all he's learning. I would recommend Albion day nursery to anyone.

Our son has been attending the nursery for over 12 months and this was the best decision for his happiness, well-being and future development. He has never not wanted to go to nursery and every morning he happily kisses and waves me goodbye. He has come on leaps and bounds with both his learning and
social skills. He has excellent and committed key workers who communicate well with us his parents.
there are also additional learning experience for his pre-school time much as French and Jo Jingles where he has the chance of developing different skills
Also a wonderful and much needed outside space for activity and energy relax.
