Albion House Day Nursery located in Grantham, offers quality childcare for children aged from birth to eight years in a fun, happy and stimulating environment.

The nursery consists of three age specific rooms with a secure well equipped outdoor area.

The first floor houses the toddler and preschool rooms, which incorporates a range of child-height furniture, toys and play areas. Children have the option for free play and organised adult led activities throughout the day to encourage independency. The toilets are located nearby and staff are happy to help with toilet training.

The babies' room can be found on the ground floor. This room has been designed as a sitting room and offers a home-from-home environment where sleep and meal routines can be followed to ensure babies feel safe and comfortable. Babies are encouraged to enjoy activities with sand, water, painting and even jelly play alongside lots of quite time, cuddles and singing.

The garden provides a safe and fun play area and includes climbing equipment, a playhouse, a sandpit, mud kitchen, digging area, and a patch where children grow their own plants.

All staff are NVQ qualified and each child is assigned a key person. Breakfast and lunch are included in the fees. It offers funded places for 2, 3 and 4-year olds, (15 and 30 hours). More information available on request.

Albion House has always been such a happy and supportive environment for my child. The staff are so understanding of our child's circumstances and try to work with the needs of the child to ensure the best quality of care and learning. My little one started in December on my return to work and she has the best time there! The staff are so friendly and helpful and I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after her. They are as accommodating as they can be and I'm so thankful.

My daughter has been attending Albion House now since the end of August after I moved her from another setting which wasn't working for us. I love the hygiene ethos and all the girls work so hard, are so kind and friendly and have made my daughter feel so at home. She always comes home happy and excited
to tell me what she has been up to. Communication is excellent and I feel like I can talk to the girls comfortably and we have worked together successfully on cracking toilet training. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are brilliant - inside is cosy but the children are allowed to be children and mess is allowed which is great and how it should be! I love that they wrap up and go out in all weathers to look at bugs and play in the purpose-built garden which is a great space considering it's a town centre nursery. I find the messages on the app offering prompts to carry on learning from the setting at home really useful. I would highly recommend Albion House.

I moved my baby to Albion House at 9 months old from another setting, when I looked round I felt calm and at home which is down to their HYGGE setting, staff are so welcoming. Since starting (he’s been there 3 months now) he has come on leaps and bounds, he’s so happy, he smiles when he sees the door,
he has formed safe attachments with the staff. I’m told he’s always so happy and is the same baby I have at home, rarely upset, he’s never too much to handle. I can see he is so relaxed and content here. No nursery compares like this one, the staff are wonderful, and they truly love my little boy like family. They have been so welcoming, the facilities are great with so much outdoor space! The children are encouraged to use their imagination with excellent resources enhancing their development, I can’t wait for my son to spend the rest of his early years here. I wish I had more space to write how amazing this nursery is. Give it a try and see for yourself! Thank you so much to the team!

Our daughter has been attending Albion House for the past 7 months since just before she turned two, so has had experience of both the baby room and toddler room, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! We visited a few nurseries and made the decision to go with Albion due to the family and home-from-home
feel, and they have not disappointed. They take the time to get to know each child, nurture their interests and look after them with such care, compassion and attention. They send updates throughout the day via an app so I'm always reassured and answer any questions promptly. My daughter is excited to go in the mornings and always leaves happy, telling me what she did that day. She's learnt so much since she started at Albion and is really thriving which is lovely to see. All the staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and professional and we feel confident and happy leaving her in their care.

I couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my little boy. When he first started attending, we both had separation anxiety and all the girls at Albion House were very supportive of this which really helped my little boy to settle. His development has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery and
the time and attention they pay him. Everyone is very friendly and kind and make my little boy and myself feel very welcome! It really is like home from home and I couldn't have chosen a better nursery!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was around 2 years old and is now 3 and a half. The staff at Albion House are all friendly, approachable and my daughter has formed wonderful attachments to every member of staff who cares for her here. The staff here fill me with confidence when I leave
my child in their care and regularly update parents on how the children are doing throughout the day, using their nursery app. All needs of my child are met every day she attends and she's happy and content when dropping her off and picking her up. The staff plan and implement exciting activities for the children to take part in throughout the days and plan around the children's personal interests, also encouraging further learning at home and supporting parents with this. I couldn't wish for a more supportive, friendly and professional team to take care of my child and it really is like a second little family! Couldn't recommend Albion House Nursery enough!

I have been extremely impressed by Albion House Day Nursery. My daughter's previous nursery closed so she started here as a pre-schooler and she is very happy, singing songs on the way home and always keen to go to nursery in the mornings. The staff are all very friendly and it feels like a warm home
from home atmosphere.

After the sudden closure of my little boy's previous nursery, Albion House were incredibly helpful and accommodating. After just 2 weeks, my little boy has settled incredibly well into the preschool room and is enjoying his days here. The communication has been great through the app they use, updating
what activities your children are doing, including pictures. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend this nursery.

Albion House Day Nursery is outstanding. The staff go above and beyond in every way. Since my son started in September 2021, I have had exceptional help and support with all aspects of my little boy's development and always feel like they are guiding him to develop with all his own interests. The Nursery
share regular updates with us parents and I always feel as if I know what my boy has been up to that day. I can't fault the nursery or staff and will always be grateful I found such a gem for a boy to attend.

Our daughter has attended Albion House since May 2022 and she is thriving with the loving team there! I have never felt so content and happy leaving my daughter - the team really are like an extension of our family and are so nurturing, helpful and skilled in supporting children to learn, play and feel
safe. I love the parent app Albion House use, which lets me see pictures of our child throughout the day, see what she is eating and how much, nappy changes etc. I feel so lucky to have a place with Albion House and I'm excited to watch our little one flourish as she goes into preschool soon! Albion House have been a saviour to us as a family. After struggling to find a suitable nursery for my twin boys (one being neurotypical, and one A typical), team Albion have made it possible for me as their mummy and a nurse, to get back to work. We can't praise Albion House staff enough for the care
they give our boys and we are so grateful. They are attentive to their individual needs and massively helped with their development in all areas. And most importantly; our boys love going and are super happy there. We receive updates throughout their day via an app which is lovely to see and also really helpful to know when and what they're eating when they sleep and what special, fun activities they're doing! The management team is also faultless. The managers are so helpful and all staff go above and beyond to assist in any way they can - they told us before gaining places that they are a family...and it's certainly felt that way on our journey so far; thank you Team Albion House.

We are so happy that our twins are at Albion House! The nursery is extremely well-run and there is excellent communication between parents and staff. It is such a friendly, welcoming and calm environment that has a real family feel. The staff are fantastic, so caring and attentive and they really try
to assess and provide for the individual needs of the children. The facilities are superb, exactly the right setting to help with any child's development. Our children are so happy here and are always excited when they know they're going! This is without a doubt the best childcare setting I have ever come across. This nursery is absolutely outstanding in every way. The staff genuinely love the children and care so much for you and your family. I’ve never felt so happy and secure leaving my children with people - I just wish their hygge

Every week the staff at Albion House Day Nursery blow us away with their amazing approach to child care - not only for our little girl but how they engage us as parents. Words that come to mind when we think about the team, about how our daughter talks about nursery, and about how they make us feel
as parents are; trust, kindness, fun, genuine interest, flexibility, honesty, happiness, reassured and simply brilliant. We’re expecting our second child to arrive soon and already have him enrolled in a place for the future. We know as parents we all look for different things but for us, it’s the best and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

My youngest son is currently at Albion House Day Nursery. He has autism, global development delay and sensory processing disorder. Not only have the staff helped me attain these diagnoses but more importantly they have supported and cared for my son. The staff are fantastic and I would be happy for
any of them to look after my children. The Special Education Needs Coordinator has a wealth of knowledge and has gone above and beyond to help support us and guide us through what was a very difficult time when we had just obtained a diagnosis. She was able to point us in the right direction in terms of the help and support we needed. My son is always eager to go to nursery. He goes in happy and comes home even happier. I cannot rate or thank Albion House Day Nursery enough for what they have done for my family. The nursery is a home from home setting, the children are able to be themselves and thrive, but are taught how to work as a team and communicate with others effectively. Five star in every aspect.

I cannot recommend Albion House Day Nursery enough. The team are genuinely interested in the progress, development and character of every child. The level of interaction between staff and parents is superb, this team really does go above and beyond for their families. We feel very lucky to have found
such a wonderful setting for our children. Our eldest is now in the preschool room and I cannot wait for her preschool days to come around. Our youngest has settled very quickly in the baby room. We couldn't feel more confident about this nursery!
