Humberstone Day Nursery

Humberstone Day Nursery and all staff have been amazing from the first initial meeting. Management were very friendly and made myself and my son feel at ease straight away. Clear to see that the nursery is a happy and caring place to be, felt like a home from home. My son has thrived and come on leaps and bounds since attending the nursery. Confidence has grown massively. I wouldn't want my children to be anywhere else. Thank you Humberstone Day Nursery.

I knew this nursery was right for us almost the moment we stepped foot through the door. Our son can be very shy with others and we have struggled to leave him with family members because of this but he settled in at nursery so smoothly we could not believe it. It was the smoothest transition possible. The staff made a lot of effort to get to know him and make him feel calm and relaxed and they were kind and supportive with us also. The atmosphere at the nursery is like a home from home, just a home with lots more fun things to do and see! The facilities are brilliant as is the food. My son's favourite person by far is the chef, he eats absolutely everything she makes. The staff clearly care for and love the nursery, the staff and all the children and it shows. All staff have been there for years and there is great communication between everyone and it trickles down to the children. We couldn't be happier and we look forward to sending our baby daughter one day too.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for a month now and gets on really well there. All the staff are super friendly, patient and caring and helped my daughter get settled in well. The food always sounds lovely and nutritious. The staff have really helped with my daughter's development and I feel safe knowing she is being looked after. I was anxious at first but now I can see she is making progress, having fun and thriving with all the activities that she does. Thank you.

Overall, my child has the best day there, and I have no worries about dropping him off in safe hands.

Humberstone Day Nursery is an excellent nursery and the staff are very friendly. My child has settled in as well as expected and the staff have made the transition as smooth as possible. Staff members are very nurturing and understand the children's needs. The variety of activities carried out at the nursery are great, engaging and the learning opportunities are never ending. The catering service is excellent also with great choice of homemade lunches. Overall, the best move we have made.

After being in a particular nursery for 1.5 years our child changed to Humberstone Day Nursery in July. We cannot be more satisfied. The staff are all very approachable and friendly and have made the transition seamless for us. Our child always returns home happy and animated with stories at the end of each day. It is clear the staff are very attentive and had made good connections with our child. A nursery I would not hesitate to recommend.

Humberstone Day Nursery from my experience is an outstanding nursery I can say this because since my son has attended the nursery I have seen a very large attainment of progress in the physical and social aspect of his development. I have noticed the staff have really good communication towards the children and parents. My son enjoys the activities and exploring the outdoors while at nursery. Both managers are heavily involved in every aspect of the nursery. I am very impressed with the nursery and highly recommend Humberstone Day Nursery.

I cannot recommend Humberston Day Nursery ebough. My little boy settled in really well, and all the staff are so friendly, caring and engaging. My little boy is being assessed for Autism, and the staff have really helped with his development and independence. They always take things at his pace and really take into account what matters to us as parents. I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

My son loves going to nursery. He enjoys the variety of activities offered with a changing theme every few weeks. He loves playing in the garden on the slide and running around with his friends. All the staff at the nursery are friendly and approachable, and they all know my son. I don't worry about him eating at the nursery as he enjoys all the food. They are supporting us with potty training, which is really helpful.

Both my husband and I had viewed over 12 nursery settings and still had more visits booked into view when we visited Humberstone Day Nursery. We immediately knew this was the one for our daughter. The management team have been exceptional and all the staff are nothing but professional. I found the nursery to be just as invested in my daughter's care and development as I am as her mother - this is a huge statement within itself. I cannot stress how excellent this nursery is and cannot wait to see how our daughter continues to thrive!

Our eldest child has attended Humberstone Day Nursery for some time and it’s a home from home for her. Our youngest child has recently begun attending the nursery and settled really well. We’re sure his development will thrive in the same way and he’ll be just as happy there.

Humberstone Day Nursery is an amazing place for children to learn and grow. My daughter and son both attend the nursery and always come home after always having fun-filled days full of education/stimulating activities, tasty nutritional food and with such friendly, caring, and passionate staff. Humberstone Day Nursery has such a homely feel to it and you don't ever feel just like a number. The staff really get to know all parents individually and you know that they have the childrens' best interests and wellbeing at heart. I would not hesitate to recommend Humberstone Day Nursery, it's just brilliant!

I have brought my little girl here since she was 8 months old due to going back to work. As a first-time parent returning to work, I felt very anxious about leaving my child. When we came to have a look around I instantly felt a homely feel from the nursery, which made me feel at ease. All of the staff were friendly and the rooms had a variety of lovely activities going on. My little girl has absolutely thrived being here, she is very happy to go in and puts her arms straight out to the staff member collecting and she has done that from very early on which is very reassuring when I’m off to work. We often get paintings and artwork sent home which is lovely to see. I’m very pleased with my choice of place and feel at ease going to work knowing she is enjoying herself and in good care.

Both of my children have attended this nursery and one of them still does. The staff are so caring and attentive and the children talk about them so fondly at home. My little girl went to school 2 years ago and still talks about her nursery teachers, the food and often says she wishes she still went there because it was so much fun. Throughout the pandemic the nursery and staff have adapted so well whilst managing to maintain the safe and nurturing environment that we all love. THANK YOU

Our son always has an enjoyable time at nursery. He is enthusiastic about going. During the pandemic, we feel that Humberstone Day Nursery has gone the extra mile by placing additional safety measures, such as a one-way system, no parents are allowed in, hand sanitising on the way in and separating groups into bubbles. It's comforting to know that our child's safety comes first.

We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Humberstone Day Nursery, especially during the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. Despite having very limited contact with other people, our daughter settled in really well. It is so great to check in on the app to see all of the lovely things that she has been up to and how much she has been enjoying herself. The staff are all really friendly and approachable, leaving us both at ease when we drop her off in the morning. Her key person has also been really supportive with her development and we continue to be blown away by her new independence!

Fantastic nursery, daughter joined in the middle of Covid and they have made me feel very safe. My daughter has loved every single day she has been there and done so much in the short space she's been there.
