Humberstone Day Nursery provides care and learning experiences for children from birth to the age of five years, in a safe and nurturing environment where children can flourish. Staff are carefully selected and are committed to providing children with a high standard of care and education. Humberstone Day Nursery has a designated, fully-qualified special educational needs coordinator who works closely with staff and parents to support any children with health and educational needs.

Children’s individual interests, abilities and learning techniques are always taken into account when planning activities to ensure they get the best out of their time at Humberstone Day Nursery. They are encouraged to play and explore, as well as develop creativity and critical thinking.

Children are encouraged to develop active and healthy lifestyles habits. The nursery provides children with nutritious, balanced meals which include fresh fruit, vegetables, oily fish and meat and poultry.

The moment we first stepped into the nursery, we knew it was the one for our son. The warm and welcoming staff, the unlimited activities and opportunities and the connection with parents are only a few characteristics of Humberstone Day Nursery. They have given our son the best possible start in life
and we couldn't thank the team enough for all their tireless efforts.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My daughter has now been here for just over 10 months and she has learnt so much in such a small amount of time. She comes home every day learning something new. The staff are fantastic and helpful. The nursery feels like a home rather than a commercial business, making you
feel at home. They go through targets for the children and try and help them reach their goals. It takes me 20 minutes just to get my daughter to leave the nursery, as she loves it so much. It also helps us, mothers and fathers, as we know our children are in safe hands.

Humberstone Day Nursery has been amazing for my daughter. She settled within a couple of weeks and they have been so accommodating with our dietary requirements and when I needed to increase our daughter's days. The nursery has really nurtured my daughter at such an important stage and has become so
confident, chatty and loves going to nursery and seeing her friends and teachers.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They keep me up to date with my child's progress and development, and we can bring her book home to look at, at our leisure.
My child has many opportunities to learn and develop using a variety of materials and methods both indoors and outdoors, and their new forest
area is definitely a hit with my little girl who loves exploring.
My child has forged strong relationships with the staff and other children and enjoys all aspects of nursery life.
They have helped with the basic rules of everyday living, with both of my children and have helped them to understand the world around them, including toilet training and manners as well as difficult concepts such as sharing.
My children are more confident and sociable because of going to nursery and the support and guidance they have received from all the staff.
I consider the staff to be my children's family and trust them implicitly.

Choosing this nursery was one of the best decisions I have made for my child. The staff seem to truly value the children and nurture them. In addition, the place provides abundant opportunities for learning and development and the staff tend to go the extra mile to help aid the meeting of the milestone.

I am extremely impressed with Humberstone Day Nursery after looking at quite a lot of other nurseries. This one stood out for all the right reasons. The staff are consistent (you always see the same faces), they are friendly and very open. I collect my son from the classroom and it always seems buzzing!
my 9-month-old daughter has also recently started in the baby room and she has settled in and was happy after two days. Enough said!!

My child has enjoyed herself every time she comes to Humberstone Day Nursery. As soon as I tell my child where we are going, they are excitedly waiting with their coat on at the door. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and very understanding of my 'new mom' questions. They are always happy and
eager to help and support where they can. It's a 'home from home' atmosphere for my child where I know they are being well looked after, stimulated and cared for with the love I would give if I wasn't at work- Our extended family! A fantastic, outstanding nursery!

Both of my children have attended nursery 8 years ago, and currently. This nursery is a home from home, which makes settling in and transitions a lot easier for the children. The staff are so friendly, they are now family to my babies! The nursery never fails to meet our needs, whether it be for allergies
or health issues. This nursery goes above and beyond. You can't put a price on the childcare, the Humberstone Day Nursery provides, it really is the best!

I cannot recommend Humberstone Day Nursery enough. The attitude and level of experience the staff have made me confident with the care my children will receive. I have used them for both of my children and always recommend them to friends and family. Staff are warm and approachable and the building

My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and I am so pleased with everything. All staff are fantastic, the nursery is outstanding and I've never had any problems at all in any areas. The children are so happy. It feels like a home from home and they get a great balanced diet. My daughter's
development is far advanced and I strongly believe this is down to the nursery!! I feel at ease when leaving my daughter and would never change nursery.

My experience of Humberstone Day Nursery is fantastic. From just going through the door, every member of staff is welcoming and so friendly. My daughter is doing great, she has made great relationships and is always saying how she loves the girls in her room. Always receive feedback on how she is coming
on and can't praise them enough for how well my daughter is coming on with her language and development. Fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Our child settled in very quickly and loves going there. The team have supported us with our child's medical condition taking on the restrictions we have to impose on a few activities and any additional medication that has to be administered. We would 110% recommend Humberstone
Day Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery.
