Hermitage Nursery School

My daughter has now been attending the setting for 7 months, she started at 5 months old and had developed strong bonds with the staff in the baby room. She is so happy to go every morning and I have multiple observations a week, with all the wonderful activities she has been doing. Staff are attentive and you get a real home from home feeling. It’s lovely to see how they are supporting her development and reading her daily report at the end of the day of how she has been and what she has done. The Management cannot do enough for you and are always available for support and queries. I’d highly recommend Hermitage Day Nursery. Myself and my partner are very pleased that our daughter has the very best foundations for her future learning at Hermitage Day Nursery.

I absolutely love this nursery, not only are they amazing with my son but they really care about them and their family as well. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are well trained, ask how the children are and if they have any requirements and also give good and thorough feedback of their day. I can be a bit anxious sometimes and this settles me knowing that he has had a fun and stimulating day.

My little girl joined here back in September 2020 as I had to move her from another nursery that I wasn’t getting on with. I cannot give Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school enough credit. They have been amazing every step of the way and my little girl absolutely loves it. We need more nurseries like Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school. The staff are so friendly and kind. We would be lost without them.

I wanted to leave this review to let anyone who may be looking for a nursery for their little one, to definitely go and check Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school out. My son was a nervous starter but he came on leaps and bounds and loved every minute of his time here. He is now in reception at school thriving and I have the staff here to thank for his journey. He made some wonderful friends and the activities they do with the children is fantastic. My sons favourite was the fire engine visit. I can't recommend these ladies enough and the food is exceptional and the rooms are beautiful. Each staff member made my son feel very special and he thoroughly enjoyed his time here.

Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school has exceeded expectations and more. Moving to the area and trying to find a suitable nursery was a struggle until I came across Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school. I was able to view the nursery straight away and the facilities they have to offer are incredible. My son settled in extremely quickly and always enjoys going. He still attends and I will be applying for a position for my other children. Thank you to all the staff!

Everyone at the Hermitage Day Nursery & Pre-school have been fantastic and so supportive. They show so much care for each child and have helped our little boy settle in so well and helped us as parents feel at ease. Wouldn't use anywhere else, they have been absolutely fantastic, especially in these current difficult times.

The team at Hermitage Day Nursery are just truly wonderful. They are kind, caring and I could not be happier leaving my daughter in their care. She loves it there and cried when we go to pick her up as she doesn't want to leave.

We have recently taken our little one to the nursery and we are very happy we made this choice. The staff are very friendly, the variety of activities is good and we have been well informed throughout. We would recommend this nursery.

Hermitage day Nursery has a safe and friendly environment. The staff are amazing and always so helpful and welcoming. Throughout this pandemic, the service and cleanliness have been outstanding. Both my children have and do attend the nursery, I couldn't be more happier. Thank you for all you do Hermitage.

My daughter has really missed all her friends and the staff during lockdown, and is super excited about going back next month and telling them all about what she's been up to!

My daughter has been attending here since she was 2 years old, she has loved every single minute of it! Due to COVID, she didn’t attend for 4 months, on her first day back she ran through the doors! All of the staff go out of their way and beyond to make the children thrive and feel comfortable! The day to day activities they do are fabulous and involve learning in many ways when the children don’t even realise it! My daughter is sad to be leaving to go to school and says she will miss nursery and all of her friends.

My child has always been happy at this nursery and enjoys his time there. Staff are always friendly and approachable and have a good relationship with the children. I always feel that my child is happy and safe in their care. I would recommend to other parents.

I always feel welcome when going into the nursery the staff and management are very friendly. Always get good feedback of the child's day, what they have been doing and what they have had to eat at mealtimes. The room always looks clean and there are lots of activities etc to be seen. The staff are very good with the children.

A wonderful happy place, loads going on for year (age). Learning is super, food and care are second to none. Everyone is very helpful of children's needs.

My nephew has attended this nursery for four years, and loved it! It was so refreshing when speaking with him about the bonds he formed with the other children and staff alike. He took pride when showing me his drawings and loved talking about all the ‘fun things’ (in his words) that he used to do! He especially loved Forest School, and we still visit the area today. He has grown up into a well-grounded, respectful little boy with key social skills for everyday life. I can’t recommend this nursery any higher.

My granddaughter loves her nursery and doesn’t want to go home when I pick her up on a Friday morning. The girls in the rooms are lovely and welcoming.

Since my son has started nursery he has fitted in and settled very well. I love seeing his daily reports and the pictures attached. His reports are so detailed I feel I have actually spent the day with him. The staff members throughout the nursery have made myself and my son feel very welcome. It's nice to know about the different activities he takes part in throughout the day and the staff are extremely helpful by supporting myself and my son through his development.

The nursery has been so good to my son. We transferred from another nursery and every member of staff has been really welcoming. He has settled in really well, like a 2nd home. Since starting he has been poorly and the staff have helped him overcome the different illnesses. Thank you to everyone.

I would use Hermitage day nursery every time.
