Children 1st Leicester Nursery School

Fantastic nursery! My son started when he turned 1 and in the eight months he has attended, I could not fault the nursery. Everyone is so friendly and warm and so informative about my son and his day. I've seen how much my son enjoys being at nursery and how his confidence has grown and it is all thanks to the lovely staff at Children 1st. Big thank you to you all!

Fantastic nursery and brilliant staff. My son has developed so much over the last year since he joined. The attention to detail and care they provide are second to none, and I couldn’t recommend them more.

My son was the first to attend Children 1st and then his sister is also attending at the present moment. Strongly recommend it as all staff are absolutely hardworking and dedicate all their time to the kids. We appreciate all the hard work and we are very happy, and also both our children are calling the nursery 'happy' because for them it is a happy place and love it so much.

My son and daughter both have been going to Children 1st since September 2023. It has been a great experience overall. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. Everyone is very helpful always and they look after my kids very well. The nursery is always clean and tidy which is something I really like.

Honestly my son absolutely loves this nursery, he has not long started and already he loves it, the place is lovely the staff members are lovely. Fingers crossed my youngest will start in April I’m very happy I came across the nursery and chose here.

Since my son has been attending I have noticed him blossom in his communication with not only toddlers but adults in general, I am 100% satisfied with how he is progressing and hope to continue our relationship with Children 1st for years to come.

Both of my children attend this nursery, and I couldn't be happier with the care and education they receive. The staff is incredibly nurturing and professional. The curriculum is engaging, with a great balance of educational activities, play, and rest. Communication from the nursery is excellent; I am always well informed about my children's progress and daily activities with regular pictures of them during stimulating activities. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a trustworthy and enriching place for their little ones.

I just want to say a huge thanks to the nursery team. It had been 4 years since using the service with my son. My daughter settled in with ease at the age of 4, having never been in an early years setting before. The staff have been attentive and consistent in their efforts with my daughter and she is thriving. Thanks to the team for their efforts.

Recently I had the pleasure of attending a delightful nativity show at Children 1st, Breedon House Nursery and it was an absolute joy to watch. Our children performed with such enthusiasm and radiance. The effort and preparation by the nursery staff was evident in the seamless execution of the play. Thank you for nurturing our children's talents and making this holiday season even more special. Sincerely.

My daughter started here at 9 months old back in January 2021. Prior to that, she had been at home with her mother and I throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns so our concerns around care and development were heightened. That being said, it's been almost two years and it's been such a fantastic journey with Children 1st @ Leicester. I've been able to see my daughter develop through keyworker updates on the app, which are tied to development areas, in addition to the daily updates in her book. The staff have been phenomenal in helping us all to get settled, and talking through questions that we have had whenever my daughter got moved up to a new class. They were also keen to respect any dietary restrictions, which was appreciated. My daughter has built such a good relationship with the teams there, both on the administrative and keyworker sides, and it is assuring to us that we can drop her off in the mornings and know that she will be well taken care of.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The nursery has a nice environment. All staff, even staff that don't work with my daughter, say hello and acknowledge her when we are in the building. We visited six nurseries, and we absolutely made the right choice. We love reading her diary and seeing what she has been up to during the week.

My child's been attending the nursery since last summer when he started in the baby room and then moved up to the next room this year. Since the beginning the standard of care from everyone across both rooms has been very high, he settled in really fast and he's already made friends and seems to genuinely enjoy his time at nursery which puts my mind and heart at ease, knowing that he's in safe hands and having a good time. I've also noticed a difference in how much he's learning at nursery as he's continued to develop over time, it's also helped him become even more sociable and learn new skills. He absolutely loves the food at nursery, the rooms are always very clean and I feel like his carers have really gotten to know him and his preferences. I love the weekly updates that I get through the app and everyone is always very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the Children's 1st Nursery to any prospective parents looking for a full-time nursery!

My child started here in 2020 and from my very first visit I knew it was the nursery that I would choose, all the staff are lovely friendly and welcoming and they personally get to know you and your children, it’s very clean and modern and the food is also really good cooked by the on-site chef (tried it at Christmas fete and was really impressed). My child started as a baby and is now in early years and loves going to nursery she always comes home and tells me something new she has learnt or sings me a song. They keep you up to date with the cute little activities they do and post pictures which is really nice. My needy baby started in October last year and he also loves going to nursery I can’t get him to leave until he has gone over to every individual staff member and said goodbye. They are so accommodating and I can’t recommend them enough I go off to work reassured that my children are happy enjoying themselves and safe there is no better feeling.

Our son has attended the nursery since he was 11 months, and we cannot speak highly enough of Children 1st Leicester. The staff are warm, friendly, caring, and extremely professional. The facilities are just wonderful. It is always spotless. His development has been absolutely nourished and he is such a confident, happy little boy due to this. He loves attending nursery and we feel how safe and cared for he is there.

My son joined in September 2022 when he was 9 months old. Since the first tour, we knew this was the place for him! Every single member of staff has been warm and welcoming, and they always go over and above for each child! We are greeted each morning with smiles from the staff and our son is always excited to go. They have encouraged his personal development so much in such a short space of time, his confidence has come on leaps and bounds and his personality is shining through. All the staff take the time to genuinely get to know your child and you as parents, this is so reassuring as you know that the care you give your child is reciprocated at nursery. Even at the end of a long day of playing we are always greeted with the biggest smile on our son's face and all the staff are still smiling too! You can really see they enjoy and take pride in their work as it shows on all the children's faces each and every day. Thank you to each and everyone for everything you do for our family!

Staff is very nice, helpful and positive. My child each day is happy to be there. When he sees childcare, then he is smiling. The nursery is bright and beautiful, in winter is warm. I am happy that I choose this nursery for my child.

Wonderful caring, professional members of staff! My baby doesn't settle well with other adults normally and he has really settled at Children 1st. Thank you to the senior nursery nurse and the rest of the bobtail team for looking after him so well.

My son has been going to the nursery since July last year, and we are absolutely happy with the staff. Our child has learned so much from the nursery. One teacher, in particular, has been absolutely amazing.

Me and my partner love this nursery and we're so glad our daughter is in good hands!
