Charnwood Day Nursery

I’m highly satisfied with the nursery, it’s great and my child loves it. I find it a little difficult when discussing what processes or progression is to be made with my child around his learning ability. I’m unsure if there’s any processes being put into place to help with his development.

This nursery is the best in the area, 4 of my children have attended here in 13 years, 2 of my children currently attend. The staff are friendly and really care about the children they care for. Play is educational and they work with the children so they’re ready for school. All of my children have built a strong bond with the staff that are working with them. They’re more than happy to work with parents, their support has been invaluable when it comes to potty training and a child who is very fussy with food. When my daughter first started she refused to talk, we really struggled to get a word out of her, since attending the staff have worked to bring her out of herself and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Amazing nursery, amazing staff, I highly recommend.

Fantastic, friendly staff who have helped my son come on leaps and bounds. What used to be a shy 2-year-old has turned into an outgoing, chatty 2-year-old. He loves going to nursery and has learnt so much. Also, the staff are fantastic with his allergies and always make sure there is always something safe and enjoyable for him to have at meal times. The staff also sit and monitor my son at meal times to make sure no cross contamination of foods occur and always provide good nutritious foods for him to eat. The nursery provides a good range of activities for the children to do from singing, signing and painting and general toy play and they encourage the children to play outside and explore when suitable. The nursery is always clean and the staff are always suitably dressed in uniform. I feel extremely happy with the nursery and the childcare service which they provide. I know my son is always safe and well looked after when at nursery.

Our son has been going to this nursery since he was 16 months, the staff are all very lovely, what we like the most is every member of staff personally knows our son as it's not a crowded nursery, we feel assured that our son is very well looked after whilst in their care.

I am very happy with the care my son gets when he goes to nursery. Going back to work is a hard decision for any parent but knowing that he is happy and cared for makes it a lot easier for me to go to work after having 9 mths off. My daughter also attended the nursery from 18 mths and thrived from day 1 although she had an unsettled start, but the kindness of all the staff helped her settle. A brilliant home from home setting and a warm feeling.

An amazing place, true home from home. My little one has been attending since he was one and we are sad to leave now he moved onto school. The staff have been amazing in helping him grow and learn. They will happily adapt to the child’s needs making it a great experience for both me and my son.

My daughter has been going to Charnwood Day since she was one. Personally, I have found her care amazing. The staff have become friends and genuinely care for the children they look after. Any concerns are dealt with in a professional and prompt manner. The children get to do a wide range of activities and love their time there.

My daughter has attended here since she was around 8 months old. She's now in the preschool. She's always been very happy here and transitions between baby room, nursery room and pre-school have been managed with thought and care. Staff are kind and friendly. Any little niggles have been quickly addressed. She takes part in a wide variety of activities and always comes home shattered but happy!

All 3 of my children have attended this nursery and I would highly recommend. I have recommended the nursery to many people. Staff are very friendly. My children are very happy here. (So happy mummy).
