My daughter seems to thoroughly enjoy attending her days at the nursery. She initially didn't like being left, she now is happy to walk down to the baby room with the nursery staff. She was a picky eater, but with some encouragement and settling in she has now started eating some of the food provided. She's now happy to join into the activities which I get positive updates from the staff members. Home routine is followed as was provided when initially started. Overall I feel she has settled and bonded well.

My granddaughter only started nursery in march 2025 she is quite a shy girl when meeting new people but the nursery settled her in fairly quickly, she is also a fussy eater from eating nothing to eating little bits now is wonderful today she even ate half of her dinner, there was an incident which was dealt with quickly, my granddaughter loves to colour and play in water which they seem to do lots of this so far I couldn't give a bad review as there is nothing but praises for staff.

Great nursery. Every day kids have plenty of activities what you can see on photos uploaded on nursery App. Excellent contact with management and staff. In addition food is delicious, always my son eating all. I will recommend it to everyone cause they are amazing.

From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to support our child's additional needs with compassion, patience, and true professionalism. The staff are always willing to listen whenever I have concerns about his development, and they consistently put my mind at ease with their thoughtful communication and expert guidance. Nursery is great overall, friendly and informative staff on hand overs. Clean and tidy place to send my child. Management are always on hand to help with anything you need with paperwork or funding. My child always has fun and they have great activities out for them to explore and learn through play.

We absolutely love Charnwood Day Nursery and everything they have done and continue to do for our children. Our first absolutely loved her time here and our little boy is the same. The staff can't do more to make sure he is happy and settled. He has dietary needs and the team are so thorough and happy to make sure these requirements are met. We receive lots of fun updates on what he's been doing and how he's developing. Staff are so supportive and happy to help and for the 5 years we have known Charnwood Day Nursery they have come to feel like an extended family who really care about the children and parents they encounter.

Absolutely fabulous little nursery. Had all my youngest go here and couldn't have picked a better nursery. All staff there are warm and friendly my daughter just loves coming into her sessions. No issues whatsoever.

Finally found the best nursery for my son and it's the best feeling ever, such a relief, knowing he's genuinely happy there. After having problems with a previous nursery/childminder. The moment we walked in they made us feel at home and comfortable. My son has additional needs and they were very accommodating with this. They are always doing tonnes of activities, and keep us updated on the app, the food choices are brilliant too. All the staff are lovely and I would highly recommend to any parent, if you are looking for childcare.

I would recommend this nursery to absolutely anyone. All the staff are friendly and approachable, nothing is ever too much trouble. I had some health problems recently and the nursery stepped up to help me with childcare in any way they could. My daughter took a while to settle in but now smiles as soon as she sees where she is. The staff take time to get to know your child and their care is then tailored to exactly what they need to thrive. My daughter's confidence and knowledge has come on in leaps and bounds since starting and as they're a small setting your child is not just a number in the crowd. They might not have all the fancy toys and facilities but the care from staff is second to none and to me that's all that matters. I don't have a bad word to say about anything or anyone and I am so happy to have found Charnwood Day Nursery for my daughter.

Our little girl absolutely loves this nursery, and we're so glad we found it. All the staff are brilliant - they really take the time to connect with each child and make them feel at home. Even though we've moved further away, we've kept her here because we just wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. We get loads of updates and photos through the app, which is so lovely, and it's great to see all the fun and learning she's getting up to each day. Would definitely recommend!

Great nursery - 100% recommendable. They may not have the newest toys and equipment, but the teaching team is amazing and always keeps the children busy. They paint, bake and have many sensory activities. Children in this nursery receive the attention they need at this stage.

Absolutely brilliant nursery and staff! My child loves attending nursery and is always greeted by familiar happy faces. Staff are kind, caring and nothing is too much trouble. Any concerns or issues are dealt with very quickly and staff go above and beyond for children and their guardians! Children take part in different creative, fun and interactive activities daily and my child enjoys messy and imaginative play with their friends. They've made some incredible bonds with children who attend the nursery; as well as staff. This nursery is built on a family and it shows as love for all children and their caregivers. I'm so happy my children are part of such a warm and welcoming amazing environment. It's a brilliant place to learn and grow!

I just wanted to say what an absolute joy it is knowing that when I drop both my Grandsons off at nursery they are very well looked after, well fed, and most importantly they are enjoying themselves the whole time they attend. All staff are very professional, and caring and are 100% committed to all the children. My Grandsons have learned so much whilst attending and I can not thank the staff enough. Keep up the excellent work and thank you all.

It is a lovely environment for my child as they are a very welcoming and friendly team, they helped my daughter to settle in despite the fact that it took her a long time to settle in. Communication and bonding with kids and parents are lovely, they teach the kids how to be innovative and indulge their creativity skills which to me is very key for early years. A lovely place for kids and would definitely recommend.

I can't recommend enough - I have been with them for eight years and they have helped me to raise all three of my children. They have not only looked after and guided my children, they have helped me learn and grow as a parent also. I truly feel the staff I have got to know, over the past eight years, have become my friends. My older two children have moved on to school - which the nursery was fantastic in helping to prepare them (such as bringing in school shirts to practice doing up and undoing buttons, tying shoelaces etc.). My child that is still at the nursery is only 1, he started when he was 6 weeks old and the staff have been amazing with him - especially with him being so young when he started there. They have helped him to grow, explore, play, laugh and learn. He loves his key worker from nursery nearly as much as he loves me. Overall, I am really pleased with the quality of care and service that the staff of Charnwood Day Nursery have provided over the years and continue to provide.

My daughter is 19 months and loves going to Charnwood Day Nursery. She walks in with confidence and always greets us with a smile at the end of the day. She loves her key workers, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They are even welcoming to my son at pick up, who left the nursery in August to start school, and always have a kind word to say to him.

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was 9 months old and is now in preschool. She enjoys coming to nursery and always comes home with a story to tell and what she has been doing that day. The staff are lovely and show great bonds with the children. The manager also seems to be making some positive changes within the nursery and keeps parents informed and involved on a regular basis. Would definitely recommend this nursery!

Charnwood Day nursery has always been good, in my opinion, as I have had two children attend over the last few years with my youngest being there currently. The children have a fond bond with the staff and are cared for excellently. They get up to a wide range of activities that support their development in different ways. Their individualities are supported and any concern is professionally dealt with. The new manager is taking the nursery from strength to strength. The manager, and her team, listen and act on anything concern I have as a parent and I feel they are making my life even easier being a full-time working mum. The staff embed so many topics into the children’s learning that support their personal development I would highly recommend this nursery.
