Charnwood Day Nursery

I was really nervous about my daughter starting nursery as she had never really been away from me, but the staff at Charnwood Day Nursery are fantastic and made it a really smooth and easy experience for my daughter and myself. My daughter loves going there and has thrived.

My Daughter absolutely loves nursery and all the staff there. She is more than happy to be with any of the staff members. And she always has lots to tell me about what she has done at nursery. She really enjoys the varied activities and has made good friendships there. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Lovely nursery for your child to attend to. My son is always excited every morning to go to nursery. The staff are very friendly, helpful and informative. They really focus on your child’s needs and learning. Your child is secure and will be taken care of always. I would recommend Charnwood Day Nursery to parents out there that have lots of worries. Your heart will be at ease.

My daughter is learning good form being in nursery, she likes going to nursery, learned how to use the potty, she learned how to paint and be creative. She also sings with her friends in nursery, she goes three times a week.

I warmly recommend Charnwood Day Nursery. All the members of the staff are very friendly, politely and well prepared. I have no words to describe the support offered to our child that has some challenging behaviours. I am really happy knowing that my boy is safe there and adequately cared and supported for his development.

Amazing staff. Very helpful. I would recommend anytime without a blink of an eye! They helped me out a lot with my son. If you are looking for a kindergarten for your child in Shepshed, this is the best option!

The nursery and management team are exceptional. I moved to the area after a relocation for work and I’m so happy to have found this nursery. My daughter settled in almost immediately and absolutely loves attending this nursery it’s like a home from home for her. She has developed leaps and bounds under the nurseries care and I really cannot fault the team, they are so dedicated to the children. Very much recommended.

All of the staff at Charnwood Day Nursery, especially the Deputy and Manager, have been outstanding in everything they have done over the last five years. They have maintained such high standards in all areas throughout this pandemic - ensuring the children can still learn, have fun and remain safe. This has really put my mind at ease and so grateful my daughter can still attend. As a nurse during these times, both have been so supportive and as flexible as possible to assist any needs or concerns I have had. Thank you.

I always knew he was in safe hands whilst at nursery. I would like to thank the Manager, the Deputy Manager, my son's key worker and all of the rest of the nursery staff at Charnwood Day Nursery for making his time at nursery so enjoyable. My daughter has been at this nursery now for over a year and they couldn't have made her feel more welcome. They provide a fantastic welcoming environment. The staff are brilliant and very supportive. The meals they serve the children are amazing. And on top of everything else they do, they are very flexible which has been a huge help in us settling into the area, schools and new jobs.

Absolutely outstanding nursery, my daughter has been going since she was 14 months old and the progress she's made in their care is amazing.

The help and support given by all staff on toilet training, walking and other milestones have also been outstanding.

Amazing nursery; all the staff really care about the children. My daughter was there for a few months, however due to personal circumstances we had to remove her but otherwise, she'd still be there. I definitely recommend to anyone.

My son settled in quickly at this nursery, despite not being used to being separated from myself. The staff are very knowledgeable, and provide a great variety of activies. My son progressed a lot in the short time he attended.

I would highly recommend Charnwood day nursery. My daughter went to this nursery and there was never a thought in not sending my son. They both went from very young babies. The staff are just amazing. They are so welcoming and always look after the children as they would their own. The children really love the staff, which speaks volumes. The management team are really friendly and attentive. My son has lots of allergies and they ensure he is not only catered for but try to ensure he can have as near a meal as the other children. This really is a home from home nursery with amazing staff and a wonderful atmosphere.

I’m highly satisfied with the nursery, it’s great and my child loves it. I find it a little difficult when discussing what processes or progression is to be made with my child around his learning ability. I’m unsure if there’s any processes being put into place to help with his development.

This nursery is the best in the area, 4 of my children have attended here in 13 years, 2 of my children currently attend. The staff are friendly and really care about the children they care for. Play is educational and they work with the children so they’re ready for school. All of my children have built a strong bond with the staff that are working with them. They’re more than happy to work with parents, their support has been invaluable when it comes to potty training and a child who is very fussy with food. When my daughter first started she refused to talk, we really struggled to get a word out of her, since attending the staff have worked to bring her out of herself and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Amazing nursery, amazing staff, I highly recommend.

Fantastic, friendly staff who have helped my son come on leaps and bounds. What used to be a shy 2-year-old has turned into an outgoing, chatty 2-year-old. He loves going to nursery and has learnt so much. Also, the staff are fantastic with his allergies and always make sure there is always something safe and enjoyable for him to have at meal times. The staff also sit and monitor my son at meal times to make sure no cross contamination of foods occur and always provide good nutritious foods for him to eat. The nursery provides a good range of activities for the children to do from singing, signing and painting and general toy play and they encourage the children to play outside and explore when suitable. The nursery is always clean and the staff are always suitably dressed in uniform. I feel extremely happy with the nursery and the childcare service which they provide. I know my son is always safe and well looked after when at nursery.
