Busy Bees Derby Oakwood Bishops Drive is a wonderful nursery environment.

Purpose-built and fully equipped to offer an engaging and safe environment, Busy Bees Derby Oakwood Bishops Drive is divided into four separate areas which offer age and development-stage appropriate resources and activities. The secure and self-contained Baby Room has been carefully designed to offer a familiar and reassuring environment, helping little ones to settle in.

My daughter struggled to settle into nursery as she has a very strong attachment to me. The staff at Treetops have really tried to help- getting to know my daughter and her personality so that they can adapt the various activities to help feel more engaged. They are also very flexible with my child
in the morning when she is upset, she usually chooses who she feels most comfortable with whilst she settles and its never too much trouble :)

The nursery has been very good with my child and his medical condition, adapting to his needs. They were also not frightened to ask questions to understand my child's needs better and adapt accordingly.

My son has improved a lot since attending Treetops Nursery, he is more confident and talking and communicating more. He enjoys coming and likes his care workers very much. I have no problem with any of the staff and the place is looking clean and tidy.

I like this nursery, my baby comes in with a smile on his face. I just worry he is sick very often bit I guess it's just the way it is first year. I don't like nap time hours I had to wake my son up every day at 1'O clock. Thanks.

My son loves the football class which takes place every other week in the hall. The staff are always looking at ways to achieve my sons learning and I often get sent homework to complete to develop my son's education the best I can.
The care is amazing, always welcoming with a smile, always there if
a chat is needed. The menu is varied, my son loves 'the meat' day. His key worker is great. Organised, efficient management. I don't want my son to go to school.

Staff are very warm and welcoming. I like the activities they do with the children. Also a big plus for me is that they have a gym hall. My daughter loves the staff, so I am very happy to leave my daughter there. High standard at the nursery.

Treetops has provided excellent care for my daughter. 100% supportive and accommodating throughout my child's time here. The care is to a high standard and my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since coming here. The staff are amazing.

I am really impressed with the homework task she has been given to learn how to spell her name. I said to her last week "come on, we are going to nursery" and she replied "yes!!!" her face was so excited. This to me shows what an amazing job all/and her key worker does.

My daughter has progressed through a couple of age groups now. Her vocabulary has been noted as developing much greater than just at home such as manners etc. She seems happy and is enjoying the social interaction with other children. The activities that she engages in are beyond what we are able to
do at home, which is great for her learning and development.

My son has recently moved over to the Little Monkeys room. Which the nursery staff have made such an easy transition for both me and my son. We have had some behaviour issues with him which all the staff have always been open and honest about and encouraged him to change his ways in positive and educational
way. Everyone is very friendly. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

My child started in 2013 when he was nearly 11 months old. We are extremely happy with Treetops and never has any problems. My child is well looked after and very happy. There have been times when my child has been upset at "drop-offs" but they are always on hand to give him a cuddle and reassure him-
which reassures mummy and daddy too! We would not hesitate to send out next child here when the time comes.

I really cannot praise Treetops enough. Clean, colourful and cosy. The staff are all so friendly and have built up real relationships with my daughter, even continuing these after she has moved up from their class. They cater playtime to each childs interests and abilities and support the learning and
development we do at home. My daughter can be very fussy around mealtimes and the staff have been excellent in implementing strategies at mealtimes and communicating back to me how she has got on. I know my daughter feels at home in Treetops and we have had nothing but positive experiences whilst our daughter has attended.

I'm Chloe and I am the Centre Director at our Busy Bees Derby Oakwood Bishops Drive nursery.
Having completed my level 3 qualification, I have gained a wealth of experience in our Kings Heath nursery in Birmingham for 4 years from room manager, senior room manager, assistant centre director and now moving up to Centre Director here at Bishops Drive. Throughout my time at Kings Heath, I have supported the nursery and other nurseries in the area with a keen eye on quality and ensuring every child within our care has the best start in life.
I have a passion for ensuring environments are enabling and inviting, offering a range of learning opportunities to our children.
In my spare time I really enjoy going on walks and spending time with my family and friends.
