Busy Bees Belper Gibfield Lane

My little girl moved here from another nursery where she wasn't happy. She settled in here really quickly and now loves going to nursery. She loves the dancing and crafts that they do. She often starts singing songs at home which she's obviously learnt at nursery. Her speech has really improved too.

All the staff are always so helpful and make us feel completely at ease. Nothing is ever too much to ask and the communication between nursery and parents is always rapid and enlightening. I feel the nursery has a very personal and family feel to it and couldn't be happier my daughter has spent her time from baby throughout here.

We have been made to feel very welcome, the standards are amazing and the staff are lovely. I would strongly recommend this nursery as my daughter loves to communicate with other children. I am so glad I chose this nursery for my daughter. Thank you.

From the start of my daughter's journey at Treetops, the staff have been so welcoming and reassuring of my daughters first days. I’ve felt confident every time I dropped her off that her safety was in good hands. The staff called me every day to tell me how she was doing and what she had been up to. The handover after each session is very useful and calming. Couldn’t recommend enough and after a few weeks at Treetops my daughter is already coming on leaps and bounds, the best decision we’ve made. Thank you so much to all.

My little girl has been attending nursery now for 2 months and after initially being unsure about it (she cried when I left the first few times which I think is to be expected), she now loves going and in a short space of time, we are seeing progression in her development and language. Staff have all been really welcoming and friendly and my little girl is always happy to follow along with them.

Very happy with this nursery. My oldest used to go here and my youngest still goes and is now in the crocs group. Over the 4 years, I have used the nursery all the staff have been brilliant! They are kind and supportive to my children and are clearly involved in helping them develop and not just there for child care. The nursery has always been flexible with us when we’ve wanted to change days. They take every opportunity to go outside and explore! They also try really hard to encourage my picky eater!

As a keyworker, I relied on the nursery for childcare during lockdown (as well as before and after). The care my children received during an uncertain and extremely stressful time was outstanding, I always felt the children were safe there, the management and staff communicated all the changes that were being made regularly and can honestly say that nursery saved our sanity during a difficult time! The staff are so caring and went out of their way to ensure the children were happy despite changes being made. My youngest actually started nursery at the beginning of lockdown and has settled so well and always comes out so happy. My eldest has now started at primary school and I feel her time in nursery prepared her so well that she is now loving reception class.

Well done for keeping open, one of the very few! I hope you get the acknowledgement you deserve by keeping parents at work during the pandemic.

Both my daughter and my son have been at Gibfield Lane since they were 5 months old and I have been so pleased with the care they have received. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and informative, the kids do varied activities throughout the week and they look forward to going each day. I would recommend Gibfield to all mummy friends.

After our usual nursery refused to reopen, Treetops Belper welcomed my children with open arms. Staff are incredible at supporting children and helping them to feel at home whilst not at home. My children love going to nursery and I wish they had started sooner. I would recommend this nursery to all.

My son attended Treetops in the crocs room (preschool). The staff within the nursery were very attentive and made a big fuss of him. All of the staff within the nursery knew his name and spoke to him. Lots of different messy play out and freeflow in the garden.

The staff are excellent, my daughter settled in really quickly and was more than happy to go to all the staff which told me she was happy. Her speech and potty training have come on massively since being here.

Very good. My son has settled very well with the help of the staff. His key worker has been brilliant with him. Done lots of paintings and drawings for me to have.
