Busy Bees Belper Gibfield Lane

The nursery is absolutely amazing the staff are fantastic and so friendly and my little girl has come on leaps and bounds since starting in her confidence speech and character would 100% recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been attending since September 2024 when he was 10 months old. He really struggled to settle into nursery but his staff members did everything they could to get him to settle in. They came up with idea of bringing a comforter in with him and since then he has loved going. He now goes to nursery with a big smile on his face and leaves with a big smile. He has an amazing relationship with his keyworker and the other workers.

Both our daughters are now attending Busy Bees, Gibfield lane, Belper. We could not be happier with the environment provided. Our children absolutely love their nursery days and have bonded well with the staff in their rooms. As parents, we feel happy and comfortable leaving our children in the care of the warm, friendly and professional staff. We could not ask for more from a nursery.

The staff are fantastic. Very enthusiastic and have helped my children learn so much at an early age. The daily hangovers are informative, and app is helpful keep an eye on nap, feeding and nappy changes/times.

There is great communication with parents through the app.

Our daughter has some amazing skills of counting, telling alphabet letters, colours, days of the week and so much more and that of course has been impacted by the nursery on top of what we do at home. She is always walking in happy and all staff are so supportive.

Busy Bees has been a second home to my children since 2018. The staff are genuinely like family to us. As parents we are both 100% sure that our children are safe there and they developed/are developing beautifully there. Although our son’s school has a nursery now, we chose to drive 25 minutes just for our daughter to be at Busy Bees.

Staff at Busy Bees Belper Gibfield Lane are wonderful. They get to know each individual child and greet them all personally. They all listen to yours and your child's wants and needs carefully and nothing is ever too much for them. The children's meals and snacks are all carefully planned to ensure they get their five-a-day and they eat together in a lovely, social setting which is great for picky toddlers! They have such a fabulous selection of toys to play with, singing time, storytime, nap time, outdoor time, everything you'd want for your child to keep on learning in a fun way. Thank you Busy Bees! Recommend to everyone with little ones.

My little boy loves nursery and that's all down to the staff - so friendly and nurturing - I genuinely believe he feels at home during his sessions here. He's very settled when I drop him off for the day and beams when I pick him up at the end of the day. He's always bringing artwork home and the staff makes me feel very involved and updated with everything that goes on at nursery. The care given to him is evident of how happy my son is here, I can't thank you all enough for being so amazing.

Busy Bees Nursery has always provided a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for my child. All staff are warm, friendly and provide detailed hand overs at the end of the day. They build positive relationships with children and make a real effort to get to know their preferences, people who are special to them and their life beyond nursery. Any accidents are well recorded and parents are always informed even if this is a minor injury or mild illness symptoms. Updates on the app very informative and give a great insight into nursery which informs conversations at home. My child loves attending nursery and has grown in confidence. It is great to see him so happy, enthusiastic and thriving in his group.

He loves the food!

My son has been coming since he was 9 months old. He loves attending nursery and although he only goes once or twice weekly, he thoroughly enjoys it and all of the staff are great and always greet us with a smile!

In summary, they are a caring, professional nursery and feel very lucky to have a place there.

The nursery itself is clean, welcoming and well set out. Lots to keep my child engaged and she loved the themed day! Guidance around current Covid regulations in nursery is encouraging also.

Both of my children have been here and can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing, friendly, caring and professional. The place is clean and safe. I believe the nursery really brought both of my kids on massively and prepared them for school brilliantly.

My son has only been attending this nursery for a couple of weeks, having moved from another one and already I'm really impressed. He's two and a half so he's in the hippos room and he's settling in nicely. It was really good that I got to attend an orientation session with him so I felt like I had a good idea of the environment I was putting him in. The staff are lovely, the key worker makes the effort to speak to me and to build a relationship with my child. I feel its more structured than his previous nursery, which is positive, as they do lots of different activities throughout the day. They also do the colour and shape of the month and story of the month, as well as themed days, which is a really nice idea. I really feel reassured that my son is happy and well looked after there and is also learning and developing to his full potential. The building is well set out, clean and modern. Overall we are both really happy!
