My child has recently started at Alton Manor, the team were welcoming and supportive during the settling in process and put me at ease. The rooms feel warm and inviting and I feel happy knowing my child is well cared for there, the food is diverse and my child eats well at the nursery. Management have been supportive and guided through all the funding and how it works. I couldn't recommend Alton Manor enough!!

Our son has been going to Busy Bees Alton Manor, Belper since he was 11 months old (he is now almost 4). During that time he has always been happy, safe and appropriately stimulated. It has been wonderful to see him develop into the boy that he is and Busy Bees has definitely contributed positively to this. The staff are friendly and approachable and really know the children and families. We have never not been greeted with a smile at the start of the day and our son runs into nursery every time looking forward to the day ahead.
The environment is clean and well-resourced. Meals are varied and our son always eats them.
Communication is clear and if there has ever been an issue or query, it has been dealt with effectively.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

My 11-month-old daughter attends the centre and I have had such a positive experience. When she first started they made me feel very welcomed and at ease. The settling-in sessions really helped and allowed me to get to know the team and understand what my daughter's day would be like whilst at nursery.
The team are lovely and shows great care towards both my daughter and myself. They hand over what she has been up to during the day and send photos over on the app. If I have any questions then the management team have both been extremely helpful and answered any questions that I have had.

I am very happy with my nursery choice and would definitely recommend!

My son started Busy Bees at 12 months old and has been in three of the four rooms so far. In each room, the staff have been so supportive and friendly. They answer any questions and provide feedback about what my son has done during the day. My son can be a bit hesitant at drop off but the staff always give him a warm welcome and help him start his day. Busy Bees offers a great variety of healthy foods and has helped my son become more adventurous with what he eats. The free-flow outdoor play in the older rooms is great.

Excellent nursery. My daughter started at around 9/10 months and is now nearly 18 months old. She has a milk allergy that is well-catered for and has a history of febrile convulsions. They always assist and speak to me whenever they have a concern about her. She is always happy to go to nursery and loves the girls upstairs, she does a lot of playing whilst she's there and she has learnt a lot since being there. All updates are regularly posted on the app.

Thank you for looking after her.

Both of our children have attended Busy Bees. Our youngest daughter still does. We are always greeted with a warm and welcoming face from all members of the team throughout the nursery.
The staff say hello to the children and are very interactive with them from the very start of the day. We collect our child at different times of the day and the same enthusiasm and care is clear to see even at the end of a long day.

Our daughter will soon be leaving to go to primary school and we are so sad to be saying goodbye. We are forever grateful for the care and support the centre has given to our two children and we know that having such an excellent, warm, welcoming and educational foundation for our children as Busy Bees Alton Manor has shown to us as a family will echo throughout our children's lives. We can't thank them all enough.

The staff are fantastic, every day it feels like your child is the only child they have cared for that day. The attention to detail is fantastic. They always have a welcoming smile and time to talk to you about your child's progress and what kind of a day they have had. My child has learnt so much from their time here coming home with pictures, singing songs, dancing and learning lots of new fun and important development skills. I highly recommend Busy Bees at Alton Manor to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

Thank you guys for everything.

Busy Bees Alton Manor has been amazing since our little one started at 9 months old. They have been so supportive in all transitions, pushing our child to explore new things, and interacting with other children.
The staff are all so friendly, and really make it feel like they will do anything for your child's security. I really like how much our child gets to go explore outdoors, even when the weather isn't great as she loves being outside.

Our child's confidence has grown so much by being in the environment at Busy Bees too.

All the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. My son has been attending this nursery for over a year and he loves going! He has a really lovely bond with his key worker and other staff in the room. We get feedback from the staff every day about what he has been up to.
The staff are always interested in what he gets up to at home and like to base some activities around their experiences when they can which is lovely.
The children's work is displayed nicely on the walls which is so cute to see.

Really pleased we chose this nursery.

We have only positive things to say about Busy Bees Alton Manor. Our son loves attending nursery and has done so since he started 1 and a half years ago. The staff are always friendly, upbeat and enthusiastic. The facilities are always clean and it is clear that a lot of thought and effort goes into the activities. The staff develop genuine relationships with the children and our son always seems happy to see everyone when arriving at nursery, usually high fiving them or asking for a fist bump. We couldn't ask for a nicer place to send our son and cannot fault the service provided by Alton Manor.

Seeing our son so happy when he walks in = happy parents and keeps us at ease. His smile probably says it all. His development in all aspects continues to surprise us. All staff in all rooms have been excellent with the perfect balance between personable and professional. Wholeheartedly recommended.

My daughter moved up to bumbles at the start of February and has been upset at drop off. The staff have been amazing at calming her down and making sure she has a good day, and have helped us get rid of my daughter's dummy, finally! They've listened to all my concerns and wants and actioned all of them straight away and just generally been great with everything.

Hello, my name is Catherine, and I am the Centre Director here at Belper Alton Manor.
I joined the Busy Bees Alton Manor family in 2019 where I started as our Senior Room Manager and have worked my way up through our Assistant Centre Director role, to now Centre Director. I have previous professional experience within the Early Years Sector, and I hold my BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies with Practitioner Status from the University of Derby.
Since joining the fantastic Alton Manor team, we have proudly achieved Team of the Year, Health and Safety Champion award and I was amazingly chosen as one of five delegates from Busy Bees UK to travel to Canada to work alongside educators and explore their educational frameworks. This experience was truly outstanding and one I will carry with me for a very long time.
I have a strong passion for delivering quality environments, education and care for all our lovely families and children to be able to access the best possible start in life.

The team at Alton Manor and myself welcome you to the centre and can’t wait to see you all very soon!
