A STUNNING AND SPACIOUS NURSERY IN KENILWORTH

You and your family will love Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. Set in a beautifully refurbished historic school building close to the countryside, every aspect has been thoughtfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Each of the nursery's age-specific rooms has its own individual garden. The preschool room in particular has freeflow access to the garden, giving each child their choice of space. There is also a forest school and an allotment area for children to learn about growing their own vegetables and making healthy food choices.
Activities in the Baby Room are nurturing, with a focus on engaging their natural curiosity and developing motor skills, speech and confidence. The older children’s rooms are designed to encourage independence. From dedicated art areas to tables with big blocks that encourage experimental and investigative play, children are able to learn in whatever way best suits them.

This is an all-inclusive nursery which means all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, are included. Your child will enjoy excellent, nutritionally balanced food that is prepared daily by the chef using fresh ingredients.
Ofsted have given Kenilworth Day Nursery a rating of Good in their most recent report (June 2018), stating the nursery as ‘a stimulating environment, indoors and out, that motivates children to use the resources and learn’.

The nursery continues to maintain it's very high standards.
It has recently gone through a renovation in the garden area which has improved the outdoor sections.
The themed activities are great and the children are doing new things every day. The days are structured - which is great for getting the
children ready for school and preschool. My son loves it here.

Great nursery overall with very dedicated staff. Very responsive, very careful about the values and respect they teach to kids.
This is very much down to the staff, very competent.
If there is one critic to be made, the building is getting old and could do with a few improvements. We are very happy
with the nursery and our son goes there with a smile.

Since joining Bright Horizons nursery in May, our little boy has gained in confidence and independence.
A wide range of activities each week has enabled him to learn new skills and develop his fine and gross motor skills.
The staff are approachable, genuine and you are always greeted with a smile.
We are happy to know that he is in a caring, supportive and safe setting and would highly recommend Bright Horizons to others.

My experience of Beehive is brilliant. The staff are always friendly and professional, not to mention personal. I am in complete confidence when leaving my daughter at nursery, plus her progress is fantastic thanks to nursery.

My daughter started at the nursery in November 2017. I still haven't experienced a day where she does not want to go. In fact, she starts to talk about how she wants to see the nursery nurses during breakfast at home.

Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool has gone above and beyond in looking after my son. I feel that he is well cared for when he goes to the nursery. He has fun and he has lots of friends. He has a strong attachment to his key worker. I am comforted every morning when I drop him off
when I see that his key worker always gives him a cuddle, offer reassurance and help him settle when he is unsettled. A great nursery, lots of activities and very caring staff. Highly recommend this nursery.

A wonderful engaging environment which our boy has really enjoyed and grown in confidence. The staff have patience in abundance.


Car parking can be painful at drop-off and pick-up but it's a small inconvenience.

I had a father's day breakfast time at the nursery. I found the staff and facilities to be excellent. The only thing about the day to day care that could be improved is the food: in my opinion, having desserts/puddings in the standard menu is not as healthy as it could be. I would have desserts/puddings
not as a standard but as exceptions - other than that it is very good.

I attended the father's day breakfast. Bright Horizons regularly put on events like this to give parents a chance to interact with the children in the nursery setting.

Lisa

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa has over 18 years of experience working in the childcare sector, starting as a nursery nurse and gaining experience in various nursery and school settings.


Over the years, she has progressed through different roles, from Room Lead to Third in Charge, then Deputy Manager, before becoming a Nursery Manager in 2008. During this time, she also achieved a degree in Childcare and Management, an Early Years Professional Status and a Forest School Leader qualification. She joined Bright Horizons Kenilworth Nursery and Preschool in January 2016.


Lisa enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in inspiring and supporting her staff. She loves watching children grow, develop and reach their full potential as they prepare for their journey to school. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and values the opportunity to continue learning every day.

Kelly

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Kelly, the Deputy Manager, has over a decade of experience in education, beginning her career as a college-level teacher for students aged 16 and above. However, her journey took an exciting turn when she chose to home educate her own children. This experience ignited her passion for early years education, inspiring her to retrain and complete her Early Years training with distinctions throughout.


She quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in several nurseries, where she utilized her skills to create warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environments. As a Qualified SENCO, she has also had the privilege of tutoring children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Her background in the Police Force has given her a strong commitment to safeguarding, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every child in her care not only receives an excellent education but also feels safe and secure.


Now that her own children are grown, Kelly finds great joy in working with young learners and witnessing their growth firsthand. She considers it a privilege to be part of their early education and remains passionate about creating a safe, inspiring and enriching environment where every child can flourish.
