Child 1st (Stoke) nursery is focused on interaction with children and their overall happiness and well being, but also day to day involvement with the parents and other family members.

Staff are happy to receive feedback from families on any subject.
Staff work hard to offer all children care and learning.

The nursery has a separate outdoor area for babies - a soft surface play area and a grassed area. Older children have a larger outdoor area consisting of a soft surfaced area, a large planting area, and a grassed area.

Staff take learning outside so that the children can make the most of the weather while maintaining their learning environment.

My son loves to go to nursery and the staff are all very welcome and help him. As a first-time parent, you are concerned if he will be okay but I have to admit that they take very good care of him and I never worry about him because he is safe and they help him to settle down.
My son is very happy
and he likes to play with his friends.

My grandson absolutely loves going to nursery! At first, he was a little unsettled but the staff soon built good relationships with him and really helped him settle!
The regular updates via the app really help put your mind at rest and it’s lovely to see the activities the girls offer daily.
I wouldn’t

My son was born premature and had a few health complications following this so we were so anxious about him going to nursery, however, Child 1st Nursery really helped to calm those nerves and have done everything possible to help my son to progress! They've built up such an amazing relationship with
him and he thoroughly loves going to nursery, cannot recommend them enough! He's worked with key workers very closely and they are just brilliant with him, he smiles at them every morning!

Excellent nursery. Very good and caring staff. Couldn’t ask for more for my little one. A bunch of wonderful teams who helped my kid learn and grow. Thank you for everything and anything that’s been provided and looked after.

My son has grown so much since he started attending the nursery. He was very shy and didn't have many social skills but now thanks to the nursery he is a very active and cheerful little one. Best decision to send him to this nursery. I'm glad I did that.

Always feel happy dropping my child at nursery. It’s a Lovely nursery, fantastic staff, great management that always tries to accommodate and sort any problems. I would definitely 100% recommend this nursery. Best by a mile in the area.

Lovely nursery, I was very anxious about taking my 9-month son after maternity leave but the staff put my mind at ease through their regular updates using the app. I am able to see what my son has eaten, how much milk he's had and nap times, nappy changes etc. Would highly recommend!

All the girls are lovely and approachable even the ones who don't work in my child's class always say hi to her and make her welcome, the management are very happy to help with anything that you ask them if they can.
No concerns at all with this nursery or my child would not be there.

Such a lovely place. The managers and all of the staff are wonderful. My daughter absolutely loves going in twice a week and always has a fantastic day. They regularly update me throughout the day using the app so I can see what she has eaten as well as when she’s been changed and slept. They also update
with photos and developmental observations. It’s easy to contact all of the team with queries and they’re all very welcoming

I was very nervous about putting my daughter into a nursery but I had nothing to worry about. She absolutely loves going and the girls made me feel very calm and welcomed. My daughter started this nursery when she was about 4 months old. Nobody had held her or come close to her in the little time she had spent with us. All staff at the nursery took such care with this in mind and made my daughter feel safe, happy and loved. My daughter has not had the opportunity to bond
with anyone else apart from her nursery and I am completely in love with the bond that they have. She is so happy when I drop her off and collect her and I can tell as her mum that she is settled and content which as you can imagine means the world to me! Please keep doing what you are doing. It is so reassuring when I am at work that my daughter is happy and so very well looked after. I can't thank you enough!

Friendly and welcoming staff.
There are lots of different activities and toys for the children to play with.
My little boy was quite upset when starting nursery but the team really helped him to settle in.
You are kept up to date throughout the day regarding your child eg nappy changes, dinners,

All of our family, including our girl, absolutely love this nursery and its staff. Amazing people, couldn’t thank them enough for everything they do with the children on a daily basis! A variety of different activities keep little ones entertained. My daughter has only been going since September 2020
but already has picked up so much and learnt loads of new things. Staff are very helpful in everything, always there for you if you need anything. Everyone at the nursery definitely goes the extra mile for parents and children. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Can I just say a really big thank you to all the staff for making my child feel so welcome from day one, they are amazing all the time. If I’m asking about my child, they explain to me clearly and help us with the things that we have any queries about. My child is very happy to go in and comes out with

My little boy joined this nursery when he was only 9-months. As a first-time mum, I worried about whether he would settle! However, the girls at the nursery made him feel so welcome and comfortable on his visiting sessions that there we no tears! He absolutely loves attending nursery every week, and
he has come along so much as he is learning there too. I feel comfortable with the girls looking after our baby, and I know that they place the children at the heart of what they do. I would definitely recommend this nursery to mums and dads out there that are looking for a safe, happy and comfortable nursery to send their child to.
