Child 1st (Stoke) nursery is focused on interaction with children and their overall happiness and well being, but also day to day involvement with the parents and other family members.

Staff are happy to receive feedback from families on any subject.
Staff work hard to offer all children care and learning.

The nursery has a separate outdoor area for babies - a soft surface play area and a grassed area. Older children have a larger outdoor area consisting of a soft surfaced area, a large planting area, and a grassed area.

Staff take learning outside so that the children can make the most of the weather while maintaining their learning environment.

Lovely nursery, I was very anxious about taking my 9-month son after maternity leave but the staff put my mind at ease through their regular updates using the app. I am able to see what my son has eaten, how much milk he's had and nap times, nappy changes etc. Would highly recommend!

All the girls are lovely and approachable even the ones who don't work in my child's class always say hi to her and make her welcome, the management are very happy to help with anything that you ask them if they can.
No concerns at all with this nursery or my child would not be there.

Such a lovely place. The managers and all of the staff are wonderful. My daughter absolutely loves going in twice a week and always has a fantastic day. They regularly update me throughout the day using the app so I can see what she has eaten as well as when she’s been changed and slept. They also update
with photos and developmental observations. It’s easy to contact all of the team with queries and they’re all very welcoming

I was very nervous about putting my daughter into a nursery but I had nothing to worry about. She absolutely loves going and the girls made me feel very calm and welcomed. My little girl has come on loads since attending. I absolutely love that they give updates so I know what she’s been doing, that

My daughter started this nursery when she was about 4 months old. Nobody had held her or come close to her in the little time she had spent with us. All staff at the nursery took such care with this in mind and made my daughter feel safe, happy and loved. My daughter has not had the opportunity to bond
with anyone else apart from her nursery and I am completely in love with the bond that they have. She is so happy when I drop her off and collect her and I can tell as her mum that she is settled and content which as you can imagine means the world to me! Please keep doing what you are doing. It is so reassuring when I am at work that my daughter is happy and so very well looked after. I can't thank you enough!

Friendly and welcoming staff.
There are lots of different activities and toys for the children to play with.
My little boy was quite upset when starting nursery but the team really helped him to settle in.
You are kept up to date throughout the day regarding your child eg nappy changes, dinners,
sleep times etc to help put your mind at ease

All of our family, including our girl, absolutely love this nursery and its staff. Amazing people, couldn’t thank them enough for everything they do with the children on a daily basis! A variety of different activities keep little ones entertained. My daughter has only been going since September 2020
but already has picked up so much and learnt loads of new things. Staff are very helpful in everything, always there for you if you need anything. Everyone at the nursery definitely goes the extra mile for parents and children. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Can I just say a really big thank you to all the staff for making my child feel so welcome from day one, they are amazing all the time. If I’m asking about my child, they explain to me clearly and help us with the things that we have any queries about. My child is very happy to go in and comes out with

My little boy joined this nursery when he was only 9-months. As a first-time mum, I worried about whether he would settle! However, the girls at the nursery made him feel so welcome and comfortable on his visiting sessions that there we no tears! He absolutely loves attending nursery every week, and
he has come along so much as he is learning there too. I feel comfortable with the girls looking after our baby, and I know that they place the children at the heart of what they do. I would definitely recommend this nursery to mums and dads out there that are looking for a safe, happy and comfortable nursery to send their child to.

Very reassuring when you leave your little one crying, with updates that he's soon settled once I've left. Absolutely love the observations I receive very frequently on the progress my son is making. He's come on a treat since being at Childs 1st, and I will be forever grateful of them.

I'm definitely glad that I chose to send my son here. He's been enrolled for over a year and he loves it. They coordinate well with his speech and language therapist and make sure that his targets are realistic, they've really helped us this year which isn't an easy thing to do during such an uncertain
time. The girls do an amazing job.

The nursery staff are amazing and my daughter really enjoys going to nursery. They have helped her with her development and the activities they do with her are great. I love the family app as I can see what she is up to during the day and love the photos they post of her. I would recommend this nursery

Wow, my son has not long since started going to nursery and the girls are so lovely. He has come on leaps and bounds so far everyone is very welcoming. I love the app too to see what he's been doing and eating and I can send things into nursery via the app brilliant fantastic team and easy to talk to.

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery, she always has a smile on her face when she goes in and they have all made her feel at home.
