Child 1st (Stoke)

My son loves coming here three days a week, it took him a few weeks to settle into the baby room but the staff gave him lots of cuddles and now he's developed important bonds with them. As someone who is not particularly crafty/creative, I appreciate the activities they do with the children. I also like how nature plays a part in their outdoor play. They provide all nappies, wipes, suncream etc. so you don't have to worry about packing it all. Overall, very happy with the nursery!

This nursery has been an absolute godsend. Highly, highly recommend. My kid is neuro-spicy and can be quite difficult but here he is really flourishing. The staff have been so patient and kind. They've put plans into action to help with his behaviours. They monitor his SEN targets and try to pinpoint any of his triggers. They're happy to give any advice on things to try, toy recommendations, to even what food he's been enjoying. I cannot praise them enough. The change in my boy has been incredible. The app they use is amazing and they upload photos of what the kids are up to. Everything is on there and it's really easy to use. There are multiple ways of using your hours, so you can find what works best for you and your kiddo. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are lovely and have everything a child could want. There are gardens, forestry school and outside play. They even have chickens! So the kids are involved with animal care. Again, cannot praise enough.

This is the best nursery in the city. The staff are very helpful and understanding of the needs of the children. My son has improved in all areas thanks to their support and help. He is very confident and does a lot of activities. Very impressed by their work and care.

The staff go above and beyond to make my little girl feel comfortable. She loves going to nursery, as soon as I pull into the car park she gets so excited. Cannot recommend Child 1st Day Nursery and its amazing staff enough!

This is an amazing nursery! My child loves attending! He is developing way more than I expected because of the staff at Child 1st Day Nursery! Everyone is very attentive and understanding with the children and deals with sometimes difficult handovers very well!

Lovely welcoming staff - my daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Child 1st Day Nursery a few months ago. She only does one day a week but we will be increasing her hours next year when eligible for funding as she has really taken to the staff there. The app is great too with updates and pictures of how my daughter is getting on through the day which is ideal for a worrisome mum! Thank you to my daughter's key worker, she has a great bond with her - I like how loving and comforting they are with children when they get a bit upset. It's what every parent would want for their little one! Thank you, I recommend Child 1st (Stoke) to everyone.

Overall, a cracking nursery which we would definitely use again.

Our little girl has been going to the nursery since she was 10 months old and is leaving this week to go to school! They have been amazing since day one. All of the staff are incredible and we couldn't have asked for a better nursery. They have helped her to develop into the lovely little girl she is and to get her ready for 'big school'. We can thank you enough!

Best nursery I could have found for my daughter. She spent her first four years here and she has developed so well. She received the best support within all areas and I would definitely suggest this nursery to friends and family who are looking for daycare for their children! My daughter has attended Child 1st (Stoke) nursery for the last 3 years all the way from the baby room to the pre-school room. She has had some fantastic experiences. I have always felt that she is very loved at nursery, like it was her second home. She has been so well looked after. The meals made on site always sound so delicious and are always very healthy. My husband works shifts and management have always been so accommodating to any changes to his shift pattern etc. They were a massive support during lockdown. We have really just had a wonderful, straightforward, problem free time with Child 1st nursery.

All staffs are so polite and son fit in well. Thank you for helping us through it. Well done staff. My son always wants to go there on the weekend. Thank you to all staff thank you he will miss you all. My daughter can’t wait to start next year.

My child started in January 2021 and has come a long way since then. The activities that are done with the children are creative and help my child learn so much. The staff are always helping to develop my child’s skills which get updated in the app to view whilst my child is at nursery. I highly recommend this nursery and my child loves it too!

My daughter started at this nursery and she absolutely loves it, she’s settled in so well as all the teachers are so lovely and welcoming. I love seeing all the pictures of my daughter's activities and hearing what the teachers have to say about her when she leaves!

My daughter was very nervous and not used to many people due to lock down and doesn't take to people very quickly. The first couple of months were hard for her as she would say 'you leave me too long mummy' as she wasn't used to being left without me. This was a bit heartbreaking at first for both me and her dad but the staff were so great and spent so much time with her and listened to everything she said and gave her so many cuddles, this made her feel important and safe. The staff asked about the things she liked so they could enjoy them with her. Also, they asked one of the other girls if they would like to hold her hand as she was new, that was something so nice that me and her still talk about it now as she says 'I have a friend mummy'. She wouldn't eat much at first due to her being fussy but as time's gone on she is enjoying so much more food. The staff are brilliant and have helped her so much, and have encouraged her with toilet training too. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Child’s 1st Day Nursery! She loves going. If you are slow getting out the door to take her she gets mad at me. Couldn’t be a better place for her to learn and grow.

I would highly recommend this nursery for anyone who is looking for childcare.

My daughter has been at this nursery for eight months, the girls in the nursery have really helped to bring her out of her shell and teach her new things, I have seen a difference in my daughter since she started nursery and I'm so thankful to all the staff for being so friendly and helpful when it comes to my daughter.

Just a great service - five-star.

The nursery is amazing full stop, our daughter has been pretty much a lockdown baby but this is the one place she literally gets excited about going to each week, the staff are amazing, friendly and informative and our daughter light's up when she sees them. You're informed on everything the kids do from start to finish and they are amazing in helping your child develop in every area, would recommend them every day of the week and twice on Sunday, amazing place.
