Nurtured @ Chell is situated on Bidulph road, close to areas such as Packmoor and Tunstall.

The team pride themselves on their sustainable approach. Learning how to offer more kindness in the world, especially learning how doing good things for others can feel good. There is a special focus on wellbeing, learning how to understand big feelings and how to regulate them and learn how to build resilience. Their kindness begins with the little ones, but the same approach is offered to parents & the team too. The fully qualified team are incredibly supportive and they are passionate about building positive relationships. The fun starts in nursery, but there are some lovely green urban routes to explore, the children can enjoy nature at its best, during walks and forest school activities. The outdoor play area is small but mighty, housing a rowing boat, mud kitchen and bug hotel. They have library visits, amongst many other trips and a a wonderful selection extra curricular activities to choose from. They offer intergenerational care, singing, wood work and they love spending time with the older generation of Chell, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness. Stay & play sessions are available for parents who don't attend the nursery, this allows for 'stay at home parents' to develop those all important early interactions, language development and social skills for little ones.

A great place for my son, where I know he will be looked after. As a mum with panic disorder is hard to trust people with my son, but from the first day visiting the nursery they have made it easy for me and given me the assurance I needed. My little boy is happy having new friends to play with and
I'm happy for the support the nursery provides to us, the security and happy with the daily updates to.

My boys are starting the nursery next month and so far I’m very happy with everything that has been done for us. The staff are lovely they are always happy to help you with anything. I can’t wait for the boys to start.

Great nursery.
My son has attended since he was six months old. And although now five and at school, he still returns every school holiday for the holiday club.
He has always loved attending.
Throughout his years there, he has moved through each room and enjoyed them all equally.

I would highly recommend this nursery - I think it's amazing. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and always very approachable. Always easy to reach via phone or by messages on the app. I get regular updates on my child's progress and activities. After every day I get told what they've eaten
and what they've been up to. My boy loves going, and I never worry how he's going to be during the day. He used to hate his old nursery, so to see him go here and come home with the biggest smile on his face. The staff are brilliant with him always regular, always smiling, always happy. The meals they have are brilliant, like a home away from home - my boys always have seconds. The settings are just like home, and they have lots of activities and things set up - they play with everything from dinosaurs to dolls to dress up. The extracurricular activities are also brilliant, like a cooking class, gardening, forest school and woodwork, and soon they are putting on language class. Definitely recommend it to others.

My daughter has been attending Nurtured since November when she was nine months old, and I am nothing but impressed with everything from the staff, and the food to how great her development is coming along. I feel like she is way ahead of where she should be for a 1-year-old, and I do feel that is all
thanks to Nurtured.
The staff keep me updated throughout the day and are always on hand for any questions or queries we have. My daughter is nothing but happy to go to nursery, her face lights up as soon as I get her out of the car, and some days she doesn't even want to leave by clinging to her keyworker!
All in all, this is a great nursery. Thank you for making me feel better about being at work and not at home with my little girl, as I know she is in great hands!

An amazing nursery. My little boy has been attending since toddler and is now in pre-school. The staff keep me updated each day on how he has been and what he has done. The Senco has also been amazing in helping me get the support my child needs.

Enrolling my son into a nursery was a daunting task as he was such a mummy’s boy! The nursery gave him plenty of settling-in sessions to make the transition easier! The staff are super friendly and have your child’s best interests. Since starting at the nursery, I have noticed my son is developing so

Brilliant nursery, with a lovely staff team. My little lady had detachment issues, but she loves going to nursery now with no tears and all smiles. My eldest daughter used to come here too, this is why I have bought my baby now, as it was so good 10 years ago - 5 stars from me.

After being so attached to your very loving two-year-old it's a big transition for not only the child but the parent too. I can't thank the staff enough for the patience they have, my son struggled to settle at first within a month he has come on leaps and bounds within his confidence, I can't believe
how much he has come on I couldn't have done it without the support from the staff. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching my little flower blossom each day, he has learnt so much already, best decision I made sending him, lovely calm atmosphere.

I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. I am always updated on the app what my child has eaten, how they've slept etc. Great communication. My child loves going and I have no worries when dropping off.

My son has been coming for over a year now and the staff are so friendly it's a lovely environment. My son loves going, I couldn't recommend enough for anyone to come here. My daughter also came here a few years ago. It's a good nursery.

Absolutely amazing nursery. The staff go above and beyond for the little ones in their care - from the moment my son had his first settler sessions, they’ve made sure that he’s comfortable and settled in to the nursery. The app is regularly updated, so you can check how they’re doing when you have a
spare minute at work, which works really well for us. I’m so happy with how settled my little boy is - he always comes home happy when he’s been to nursery.

Brilliant nursery, my daughter loves it here, brilliant communication from them regarding daily activities, meals, naps and toileting. I couldn't ask for more. The staff often talk to me about her personality traits, it's so reassuring that they are really paying attention to the children's individual
needs and actively arrange activities to suit them. Brilliant!

Nurtured Chell are a lovely welcoming nursery. We felt very relaxed leaving our daughter with them. They did amazingly when she first started here, and there is no bad experience so far. They make you feel at ease each time we drop off and pick up and always keep us up to date throughout the day with
notifications of nappy changes etc, which we find very useful for when we collect. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being here and she is on target in all development areas.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and she adores the staff who work with her. Since day one they have been very approachable and have met my daughter's specific needs. They listened to what the hospital had advised and made sure the guidance was followed. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

An ideal location for my daughter with various activities to encourage development. A tailored experience to adapt to our child's interests and needs. Most importantly, she feels safe and happy and enjoys every second of her time there. Additional courses are available that also help support development,
some of which are free and great support where needed.
I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else.

Amazing nursery. I have had my twins at this nursery since they were very little. The nursery has supported us throughout their development with how to help them progress. They communicate with us very well about the childrens day and what they've enjoyed doing. I always feel comfortable asking questions
to the staff. The staff are lovely and caring and very, very approachable. Highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter is in the toddler room, which she loves, and has developed her speech a lot. I love the online app that shows me my child's day, and all the staff are lovely and always do activities to include the parents.
