Footsteps Dosthill Nursery & Pre-School

Our son has been attending Footsteps Dosthill Nursery & Pre-School for nearly 18 months. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time there so far and excitedly tells us about his activities, his friends and the team who look after him. We have nothing but the highest praise for all those who have looked after him and we have interacted with.

Fantastic nursery with great staff. It's clear my daughter really enjoys her time at nursery, and the progress she's made since starting in January is very pleasing to see. I'd thoroughly recommend Footsteps to other prospective parents. Thank you for taking such good care of my little girl!

Staff are very friendly and talkative. My child loves going there; he gets excited, which is very reassuring and nice. The food they give him is lovely - a good variety. I like the notes I get every day; it's really nice, I like knowing what he gets up to.

Our second child is now at this nursery and we could not be happier. She settled in very quickly and is very happy to go each morning. She loves the team there and already we can see her development in the few months she has been there. The staff clearly love their jobs and put their heart into everything they do there. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and as a parent you know you are leaving your child in a safe, loving environment.

My son started at Footsteps in Dosthill at 7 months old and not even two weeks in, I could see so much developmental. The staff knows and understands children’s development and how to support in helping children to hit those milestones. Staff are friendly and patient and encourage parents to openly communicate which helps build positive relationships. Daily communication about my child’s day is something I look forward to and they really take the time to go through his day, ensuring they encourage a range of skills to be explored through different activities. I am so pleased with our first experience of the nursery, so thank you!

Kind and friendly staff, all very welcoming and always wearing a smile. My son could not be anymore happier when I stand at the door and hand him over to the staff. Very reassuring that he is looked after.

My second child is now in this nursery and I cannot fault the staff at all. They have always been very loving and provided both of my children with a nurturing, safe environment in which to flourish.

Amazing staff with a big heart and caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing my daughter get excited about going to nursery here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management are really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to staff for all their hard work. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since moving into their room. Her speech is amazing and her confidence has grown so much. I also need to thank the whole team for all their hard work and the effort they put in, nothing is ever too hard and my child is always greeted with a smile.

Everyone is very welcoming and made our daughter feel very at ease right away when she joined the nursery. The room workers always keep us up to date on our daughter's progress and give details of areas of improvement so we know what to practice at home. Our daughter's eating habits, general speech and attention have all drastically improved whilst she has been attending Footsteps. She is always keen to go to the nursery and really likes all of the room workers who are friendly and patient.

Footsteps Dosthill continues to meet the needs of our daughter and our family. All staff, regardless of their senior passion (or apprentice position) display the same level of care, compassion and knowledge. We continue to be very impressed.

Lovely team, easy communication. My daughter has made tremendous progress since starting nursery. There are lots of activities throughout the day to keep things interesting. We particularly love the forest school and the seasonal events (Halloween party, Christmas Dinner, etc) where parents came come and play too! Fantastic nursery would highly recommend.

His vocabulary has become so diverse and he looks forward to going to school.

Before sending our 1st child to nursery, we were questioning if it was the right thing to do but had no choice due to work commitments. Now we know it was the right thing for our family as they have learnt things we could not teach them on our own at this age.

The nursery itself is brilliant in the way it is laid out but the staff make it. I can see why Footsteps got graded outstanding. Such professional, friendly and informative staff/team.

I feel happy and safe with my son just starting here and already feel he will have a brilliant educational journey, we have already seen a change in him.

Very pleased with all the staff. Made our child feel secure and settled into nursery.

Very informative and friendly staff. My daughter settled down very quickly and she likes all the teachers in her nursery. She is more confident and looks forward to going back to her friends every day. The nursery teachers are preparing some treats for the parents a few times a year. Where they can grab a breakfast sandwich, fruit or a biscuit.

All the staff are very friendly and I can tell really love working with the children! Thank you so much for all your hard work each day looking after our little princess!

My son is currently in preschool and my daughter in toddlers. We have found the care within every room in the nursery to be excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and the management team responsive and helpful. Both of my children really enjoy nursery and it aids their development in an incredibly fun way. We would highly recommend this nursery.

There can be no better nursery.
