Footsteps Dosthill Nursery & Pre-School

Although we have only been attending for a few months, the staff have made us feel so welcome. My son has settled in so quickly thanks to the care and attention of the team. As a nervous first-time mom going through this all for the first time - the whole experience has been really reassuring.

My daughter has been with Dosthill Nursery since October 2023, starting in the baby room and having recently moved to toddlers. She has enjoyed being there and as a mom, I feel extremely comforted to see how well she is taken care of. The staff are lovely - I can't say enough good things about all of them. The building is great for the kids - they have a very clean and bright indoor and outdoor space. The meals are exciting and smell delicious when you walk through the doors. I also appreciate the daily updates and photos and enjoy seeing my daughter developing. Thank you.

Since our daughter joined last October we have noticed a huge difference, her confidence has come on so much which is great to see. Her development has also come on heaps and bounds. We love getting pictures of her throughout her day.

All the staff are lovely and really helpful. My little boy loves it once he is there and I have disappeared. He isn't very good at the drop off but he is always given cuddles and forgets about me in minutes. He has developed so much over the last year and I can't thank Footsteps enough

All staff have been incredibly friendly from the start. They've always made my child feel welcomed and have supported us when we have needed extra sessions or helping us get the best from the nursery.

My daughter has gone to Footsteps Dosthill since she was 8 months old. She is now in pre-school there and loving it. The staff have been amazing throughout her journey with Footsteps. Each room she has been she enjoyed thoroughly. Her key workers have helped her develop into an amazing little girl. The staff make you feel welcome whenever you drop off or pick up and always take time to tell us what our daughter has been up to that day. Would highly recommend Footsteps Dosthill to other parents out there.

From babies through to pre-school my daughter's journey has been excellent. Kind, attentive and caring staff, some of whom she has built special bonds with over her time here. Communications from the Nursery to parent are also excellent and the Menu for the children is exceptional

They are fantastic at keeping me informed as to what my child is up to. She loves going to nursery and has so much fun while she's there. Her development has been fantastic to watch and her personality has really been allowed to shine. She has tried a wide selection of food including some things I can't cook at home so pleased she gets to try them.

All of the staff are friendly here and I feel safe leaving my child. The nursery feels welcoming and my child enjoys coming here. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents. Any questions or queries I may have are dealt with quickly.

My child started nursery in January 2024 and went into the baby room. She has settled in so well in the short time she has been in and this is thanks to 3 members of staff in particular. The few issues we have had, have been sorted quickly and efficiently. Overall, this nursery is absolutely amazing and we are so glad our child will be here until she leaves for school.

My little girl has been attending Footsteps Dosthill for just over a year now and I've been very happy with our experience at the nursery. She is always happy to go to nursery which says a lot about the care they provide. I especially like that they have a garden and forest school and they spend a lot of time in these areas. My little girl is a bit more quiet and the staff has always supported and encouraged her and built her confidence loads over the year. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. My son has been with Footsteps Dosthill Nursery for nearly 16 months now. I am very pleased by the care he receives at the nursery. He enjoys his time there thoroughly. The staff are very nice and friendly, they provide a caring environment and they pour in effort to work with the individual needs of a child and to help them achieve their milestones. They have a mix of activities planned throughout the day which is really engaging for the children. My son's speech has improved so much over the past couple of weeks with the help of his teachers and his confidence has increased so much. I am very reassured that the nursery takes all precautions to take care of dietary requirements for my child. I feel really comfortable and happy leaving my child at the nursery. Keep up the good work, would highly recommend this nursery.

She'd come home telling us about her friends and what she'd been up to when she was there. Not only did she love going to nursery but she's developed lots too - she knows all the nursery rhymes and confidently sings them to anyone who will listen, her counting is really coming along and she knows the alphabet too.

We have been extremely impressed by the professionalism and work ethic of all the staff that we have encountered. Our son has settled in well and seems to be very happy. In the short time he has been going to nursery we have noticed improvements in his speech and motor skills. This has been very important for his development. We know we have made the right decision to send him to Footsteps Dosthill.

Our little boy has been at the nursery for nearly a year now and is really settled there. He enjoys going and gets on really well with the ladies who look after him. He is always happy at the end of the day, and you can tell he has had fun. The staff are very friendly, and it is clear they enjoy their jobs and care about the development of the children they look after. The staff are very supportive, helpful and caring. We always get good updates at the end of the day about how our little boy has been, the activities they have done and how he has eaten at meal times. The app is also great as we get updates during the day along with details and photos of activities and how they relate to our child’s development. The staff do a wide variety of activities with the children, and this is also supported by activities we can do at home. We are very happy we chose Footsteps Dosthill for our little boy. We look forward to his continued journey with the team. We highly recommend the nursery.

My daughter is coming to the end of her Footsteps Dosthill Nursery and Pre-School experience and I am heartbroken about it. She has absolutely loved her time with all the team from baby room all the way through to preschool. The girls provide outstanding care and they provide her with the best experiences. She has become a confident and independent little girl who is ready to take on her new chapter at school and that is thanks to the wonderful team at Footsteps Dosthill Nursery and Pre-School. I honestly couldn’t thank them enough. Every single person that is involved with the nursery provides nothing but an outstanding service and I know my daughter is going to miss them all so much. Footsteps have always been amazing with my daughter, treat her like family. Rising 3's have brought her on with her independence. One lady has been thorough in ensuring that my daughter's intolerances and allergies have been monitored.
