Bright Horizons Milford Day Nursery and Preschool

I look forward to going back inside the nursery to pick my son up inside and speak to the nursery staff. Plus seeing what he’s been up too. That is an important part of both of our days.

We cannot recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has returned to nursery extremely happily. She couldn't wait to return, and on her first day back, walked straight in smiling when greeted at the door. The fact that she wanted to return after such a long time speaks volumes about how much she enjoys her time at Milford and all of the staff. The processes in place to support Covid-19 seem to be working efficiently and hasn't impacted on how much she enjoys being there at all. Thank you for making the return to the setting as pain-free as possible both for her and us as parents.

Nursery is great! My son has settled in so well. All the staff have really looked after him and helped me with the transition back to work. He is so happy when I collect him and he always has a wide variety of food and activities while I'm away.

We feel very comfortable with our son being at the nursery and love reading through the sheet of paper which tells us what he has eaten and done!

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 6 months old. I can't fault the staff, they have been more than accommodating for his needs and development. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My boy loves nursery and runs towards all the girls.

My son is transitioning from the nursery room to pre-school. I was worried with how he would transition with him not liking change and being attached to his keyworker. I was impressed that staff realised that he would need extra moving-in sessions. I'm amazed with the new room, they have got my son over his fear in the garden and he is now enjoying coming into nursery. I can't thank the pre-school staff for reassuring both me and my son, and am really happy.

An excellent nursery. I moved my daughters here from another nursery and they are so much happier here. They are excited to go and are very happy on my return. The staff are great, communication and hand over is excellent. I particularly love the structure and believe it really prepares them for school. The food is great and love that snacks are part of the routine too. It's great that everything is provided i.e. suncream and hats, so I don't have to worry.

We have used Milford Day Nursery for both our daughters and they both love the nursery. Staff are the closest thing to family for the girls. Very supportive and helpful and adore our two daughters.

Recently, however, staff turnover has been quite high, which is a minor concern of ours.

I am so happy with their educational approach, their engagement and the development that I see in my son. The environment is great too and I love the room.

The nursery provides a great variety of healthy meals and a good outdoor play area. Really happy with the service.

He has settled in really well thanks to the staff there who make him happy. In just a few short weeks, he has already come along. He plays more with children and is getting more independent. The staff are lovely and friendly. Always say hello and they all seem to know my son's name, including the cook.

Milford Day Nursery provides such a nurturing environment for our two children. They always communicate with parents really well and work together with us to provide useful plans for the boys. They really care about the children.

My child has only been here a short time but the key workers have formed a great relationship with him and he feels safe and happy here. He has some wonderful experiences here and we are looking forward to him having more days in nursery.

Our son loves coming to nursery. His walking and use of a spoon has come on loads and his ability to feed himself has developed really well since starting nursery.

Excellent nursery. My little boy really enjoys it. The staff are lovely and very encouraging. His eating has really improved and they've even helped us with techniques to settle him at night which has worked amazingly.

I feel this pre-school is excellent. It is a very happy environment.

A caring and inclusive environment larger than the previous nursery my son attended but still doesn't have that very large nursery feel. All the staff know the children individually regardless of where they work in the nursery and seem to have a good relationship with the children. Facilities especially outdoor facilities are very good. Parent feedback on children's progress is good.
