Bright Horizons Milford Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons Milford Day Nursery and Preschool staff are friendly and welcoming. They have looked after both my boys and for the past four years, they have helped their development gain, especially my first son was under speech and language. The staff look after the children like their own and the variety of activities they do with the children are so lovely. The management is amazing at their jobs and if any problems, they are there to help and solve. I'll miss the nursery and so will my children. Thank you for helping my boys grow.

The team clearly enjoy their jobs and you can see this is more than a job to them. To name a few that have stood out, they are always on hard to support and advise. They do an incredible job.

The management team on arrival are always welcoming and polite over the phone. The carers, working directly with the children, always seem happy and interact with the children nicely and seem genuinely interested in the learning aspects. What's nice is when carers who used to look after your child remember their name and go out of the way to say hello.

Bright Horizons provides excellent care to my child. They were really helpful and accommodating when we relocated to the area. They provide regular updates about my child's development and activities and are always quick to communicate.

We love this nursery and all the staff! I have 2 sons who attend this nursery and both love it. All the staff are always so friendly, kind and always go the extra mile to help. I know my children are in the best hands and they always come home so happy - thank you for all that you do.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. My daughter looks forward to going and is coming on really well. The food is well varied and she gets to try different things that I wouldn't necessarily give her. She has a good relationship with staff and I feel happy when she is there.

There is no price for knowing my daughter is happy, safe and growing up with people that really care.

Our son has been with Milford since he was 2 years old after moving to a brand new town and county. He has developed beautifully since his time with the nursery and I will be very sad for him to leave one day. A massive thank you to all of his amazing key workers over the years. Your love and passion for early years teaching truly shows.

Absolutely fantastic staff, thank you for everything you do for my children! From the food they eat to the activities they participate in every day, the service we receive is absolutely world-class and I would happily recommend the nursery to everyone.

A fantastic nursery. Our son started in September and from our very first settling-in session, we knew he would love it. The app is brilliant and keeps us up-to-date with what he is up to and the pictures are a real bonus. We have a fridge door full of paintings and artwork he has made. We feel like all members of staff know him, not just those in his room. In our experience, the staff are really open, friendly and respectful of our choices as parents. They never make us feel daft for calling just to check he is doing ok. As a family, we are really happy with Milford.

Overall experience since my son started nursery 18months ago is outstanding. All staff members work hard and are great with all the children. Even though with lockdown and strict rules of not being able to go in the setting, the nursery have done their best to keep everybody safe and keep us as parents calm and relaxed, to still drop our children off at the door. The staff worked well with my boy whilst he was under speech and language and within a short time, he was learning new words and coming home saying his friends, staff names and now tells us what he does at nursery. It makes us feel like he is having a great, exciting time. Sometimes the handover at the door can be a bit too long especially whilst waiting in the queue for my child, but overall a great nursery and at least my child is happy and making progress in his development.

My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery, she gets excited to go when I tell her we are going to nursery in the morning. The staff are really helpful with any queries I have and work well with any changes to her routine.

Our little boy has been attending this nursery since he was 10 months old. The staff are always so helpful and can’t do enough for you. I will also be sending our little girl there when I’m back to work after maternity leave. The app is also great as it allows you to track your little ones' activities during the day. We highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has attended Milford Day Nursery full time for 8 months now and in that time we have been nothing but thrilled with the service provided. The staff are so very welcoming and compassionate, and truly seem to care for the children. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Our daughter gets so excited to go to nursery each and every day, she genuinely loves her time there. The app allows us to see if she has been eating/sleeping well and we are regularly provided with photographs of the wide range of activities she has partaken in. We are regularly updated with how our daughter is progressing in terms of her development plan and have been amazed at the skills she has developed so far during her time at Milford. Each week we notice she is doing something new, often something learnt at nursery. Overall, we cannot thank the staff enough. It was daunting sending our child to nursery full time, but seeing how happy and content she is has made it far easier. Thank you!

Our little boy has been attending since 10 months old, and it has been the most amazing experience. The staff are unbelievably helpful and supportive, and always keep you updated. The app that is available is fantastic, and you can regularly check in to see how your little one is enjoying their day. I always ring during the day to also see how he is doing and the staff are more than happy to speak to me and let me know how our son is doing. I would strongly recommend sending your child to this nursery!

Nursery times are good too. It's a cost for the day (7am - 6pm) rather than by the hour, so whilst I aim to pick my little girl up at 5pm, if I'm busy at work /running late I know it will be fine and I don't have to rush (up until 6pm).

A great nursery, my daughter has been coming here since July 2021. She adores the staff and is always so excited when we drive into the car park. They feed her great healthy meals and her development has improved so much since she started here.

When my husband and I attended the Milford nursery for the first time, we instantly knew it was the nursery for us. One lady was friendly and so welcoming, she acknowledged our daughter before us, which I loved. My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 8-months-old and has had time off due to health complications, the nursery was so accommodating, the manager and deputy phoned us regularly to see how she was and even sent us cards and wishes. Since returning, my little girl was uneasy at first after being home with both her mum and dad for 6-months but, all the staff have been brilliant, she is back to loving it. I can't fault the nursery at all, and whenever I phone, they are happy to hear from me. I would only request parents to have a handover book and for it to be used explaining what my child has done and more photographs.
