My daughter started Kirsty's Little Treasures around March - staff showed us around the nursery before she started, and we were so happy with the setup and it even has a soft play which is a bonus. My daughter settled in so well, and her key worker is great. Unfortunately, I had to take her out as I
lost my job due to COVID. I was really impressed by how understanding they were with this and they have kept the door open for us for when I finally get back on my feet and require childcare, which will hopefully be soon as my daughter really thrived here. A great nursery and I cannot recommend it enough.

My little girl started Kirsty's Little Treasures in September and she absolutely loves it. She has settled in so incredibly well and I think the staff have been amazing with her. All staff makes an effort to get to know all babies and children even though they don’t necessarily work in that particular
area. My daughter always recognises staff from Kirsty's Little Treasures and is always greeted with a friendly hello by everyone. I can leave my daughter and go to work without any worries whatsoever, as I know that she’s being cared for by the best staff. I love that she does so much at nursery. The variety of activities that they do is brilliant. It’s so reassuring that she’s being stimulated and do lots of fun things during the day. I really feel that in the short amount of time that my daughter has been at Kirsty's Little Treasures, her key workers know her really well. Having toured around Kirsty's Little Treasures during my initial visit, I feel that they have incredible resources compared to some nurseries I’ve seen. I’m so glad I chose Kirsty's Little Treasures for my daughter.
Reply from Kirsty Toolan, Owner/Manager at Kirsty's Little Treasures - ShenstoneLovely words Krystal, thank you. It has been a crazy time for your little one to settle but she has done so well.

My daughter is now 11, and she went here when she was little. Now my 8-month-old daughter goes there. This is the only nursery I would send my children to, the same staff as to when my 11-year-old was there. Friendly, helpful, reassuring, I would only recommend this nursery.
I feel 100% confident when
I leave her here. I pack my daughters own food, bottles but lunches are available.

Kirsty's Little Treasures is a fantastic nursery. I have sent both of my children, on initial recommendation from a family friend and never looked back. Always delivering the highest level of care and compassion for my children at all times. All members of staff involved in the care of my children throughout
the past 6 years have been brilliant. Each time I have dropped my children off I have felt completely happy and satisfied that they will be well cared for and safe. The management team are excellent, professional and flexible. They always go out of their way to make sure all of your needs are met and concerns are listened to. Thank you to Kirsty's Little Treasures - an amazing nursery that I am so happy I found.

Kirsty's Little Treasures have been outstanding with our daughter since the very first visit. They did everything possible to make me and my daughter feel relaxed and happy on those first few days when she was just a baby! Now she’s four and thriving at nursery. She always looks forward to going in
each day and we are well informed of what she’s been doing, what she’s eaten and her progress. Friendly, professional staff, and a family business. Can not recommend it highly enough.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kirsty's Little Treasures to anyone; they've been fantastic since our little boy started earlier this year at 14-months-old. The communication and support received during those first few sessions were outstanding and very appreciated by this 1st-time mum! This has obviously
continued throughout, and to say our son loves to go to Kirsty's Little Treasures is an understatement! The care the staff show the children is so genuine, we feel very lucky to have found such a great environment for our little one to develop and thrive in.
The continual development of new facilities within the site proves the management is forward-thinking and always looking to improve. I think you can tell we're happy!

Fabulous nursery have been great settling my 3-year old into nursery life. Flexible with times, understanding of individual children's needs.
They reassure you as parents and send you updates during their first days, of their progress.
Very happy with our choice of nursery.

Kirsty's Little Treasures has got to be the best nursery by far, the attentiveness to the children and the communication with the parents is second to none. They really make you feel part of the family and you know the second you leave your children are being cared for and loved as much as you could
yourself. My son loves going and is always tired out from all the amazing activities that Kirsty's Little Treasures have done with them in the day, there isn't an area of this nursery that falls short. The saddest part is knowing that one day your child will leave to go to school but I'm sure the staff will still keep in touch and will want to know how your children are getting on.

Kirsty's Little Treasures is just the most amazing nursery. The level of professionalism is outstanding as is the care, thought and love shown to the children. My son has settled in so easily and the process was thoroughly informative and easy. My son loves his keyworkers and the activities he undertakes
daily are challenging, fun and engaging. Every day I know when I pick him up he has had a great day, staff meets you at the door with a smile, fill you in with what they have done, eaten and everything else you need to know, they never rush the end of day handover. Staff go above and beyond to support the stages your child is going through and anything you ask they implement, for example, my husband mentioned my son not speaking much and the nursery happily worked on this area. When he crawled for the first time at nursery they took a video and showed me at the end of the day. They follow your routine from home for the babies so there is no confusion for your baby. I go to work not worrying at all.
Reply from Kirsty Toolan, Owner/Manager at Kirsty's Little Treasures - ShenstoneAppreciation for your kind review, your little man has settled in so well. The staff really take pride in celebrating achievements with the children, we find it very rewarding.

I would highly recommend Kirsty's Little Treasure. Both of my children have attended, the youngest still attends. From babies to pre-school, you will not get better nursery staff anywhere else. All of them so genuinely care for the children and provide them with an encouraging, loving family environment
to learn and grow. They are kept busy with fun, creative activities all day. Kirsty's Little Treasures are continually investing in new equipment and are currently reinvesting their outside space. When both of my children experienced separation anxiety, I knew they would be in safe hands and will be given cuddles when needed. Your children will be in the best hands at Kirsty's Little Treasures.

This is a lovely nursery. The overwhelming feeling we get when we drop our child off is warmth, care and love. There is a genuine affection between the staff and children, and everyone seems to be having a lovely time. The staff works really hard to accommodate everyone's needs and provide a nurturing
environment whilst helping to develop key educational needs. It is a very flexible place and easy to talk to staff and management about anything.

After viewing several nurseries before returning to work after spending 12 months of maternity leave with our little girl, Kirsty's Little Treasures was a winner from the moment we were invited through the doors. All the staff were so warm and welcoming to both my husband I and most of all our daughter.
Straight away we knew this was the nursery and the people we wanted to take care of and teach life skills to our daughter. The communication between the staff and us as parents has been amazing, everyday we feel as though we were there with them all with brilliant handovers, capture updates, and Facebook posts on the nursery page. The range of activities and equipment provided is outstanding and has enhanced our daughter's development greatly. It is clear that all the staff enjoy their jobs which shows in the responses from the children. Kirsty's Little Treasures is a secure, safe environment and the safety measures that have been put into place since covid19 have reassured us as parents. Outstanding!

I’ve had three children at Kirsty's Little Treasure’s over the last 6 years and it’s a wonderful environment for children. Since the first day I’ve felt like part of an extended family there, every member of staff goes above and beyond. I trust them completely, everybody’s friendly and approachable
and nothing is too much trouble. They truly care for and love the kids, and all my kids have learned so much there. They’ve been brilliant this year through the coronavirus pandemic too - really supportive to key worker families and putting in really sensible measures to ensure good hygiene and social distancing. I can’t recommend Kirsty's Little Treasures enough!

I have recently moved my daughter to this nursery during the middle of the pandemic and government guidelines. I was very wary and concerned, but I can't thank or recommend the staff and their service enough. They have not only helped my daughter settle in quickly, but they also helped me during the
process by sending messages to let me know how she was getting on, seeing regular updates on the Facebook page is a lovely touch and it reassures me as a parent. Choosing Kirsty's Little Treasures was definitely the best decision I made for my child as she is thriving.

My daughter has been going to Kirsty's Little Treasures for over a year now and they have been exceptional. The care they provide for my daughter is second to none, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.
My daughter has come on so much during her time at nursery, and I can safely say that when I drop
my daughter off to go to work, I don’t worry about her as I know the care they provide is exceptional.
I can’t recommend Kirsty's enough, the staff are brilliant, and nothing is ever too much for them. My daughter absolutely loves nursery, and I can’t thank them enough for their help and support over the last few years.
The setting is absolutely amazing, they have recently been renovating the garden and making the outdoor space better for the children and introducing new outdoor equipment.
Thank you, Kirsty’s, for everything you do!

Can't ask for a more friendly environment for my son. We’ve been using Kirsty's Little Treasures for 5-years (two children). Never had any issues for complaint and any suggestions I've had for any potential improvements have always been taken on board by the management and actioned if necessary. Overall
its a very family orientated nursery and both my children have loved attending. 5*.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.917)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.917) out of 10 for Kirsty's Little Treasures - Shenstone is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 21 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 21 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.917 for Kirsty's Little Treasures - Shenstone is calculated as follows: ( (237 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 252 Ratings = 4.917
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kirsty's Little Treasures - Shenstone is based on 21 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2, which has been reached with 21 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

My birthday is 13th November. I have been in childcare for over 20 years, starting as a student in college and working my way up to where I am today. I am very passionate about bringing out the best within the children and staff I work with. My favourite colour is purple, and my favourite food is spaghetti bolognese! I am married to Kyle and have 2 children Kole and Kiera and 2 stepchildren Sophie and Isabelle and a dog called Woody! In my spare time (if I get any!) I love walking, reading and going out for lovely meals! Interesting fact about me: as a youth I held a black belt in ju-jitsu and was a national champion, I won lots of trophies - you never know I may take it up again one day! I love any sort of music and really like to dance! My favourite nursery rhyme is if you’re happy and you know it and I love to dance and sing with the children! I am level 6 qualified and have a Degree with Honours within Early Years.
