At Little Pioneers Walsall Wood there are four main areas within the nursery, a secure baby room for babies 3 months to 1 year, a large bright toddler room for 12 months – 2 years, another large bright room for children aged 2-4 years.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They hold the green flag status (the highest award) in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning. They have an app, ParentZone, which keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

Furthermore there is a specific room to support the learning of the 3-5 year olds, complete with laptop and computer that pre-schoolers can use at any time as they are encouraged to explore and access activities independently. The nursery has two secure outside play areas which the children are able to access at least twice a day.

My two children both attend Walsall Wood Nursery. Both children love coming to nursery and I have seen them both grow and develop so well. The staff are extremely friendly and genuinely care about the children's happiness and safety. The children are thoroughly stimulated and take part in a wide range
of activities. I would recommend the nursery wholeheartedly.

We have been using Walsall Wood Nursery for a few months now. The staff and facilities are brilliant. Our daughter enjoys every session and we would not use another nursery. I know my daughters care is of paramount importance and I trust the staff in the baby room implicitly.

Excellent experience. Our child settled very well into the nursery and has learnt and progressed so much since her admission. Her social and communication skills have improved so much. The staff are really friendly and we are kept well informed about everything. Very pleased and would recommend to everyone.

We visited the nursery to find out more information regarding what the children do and will be doing at nursery. The team provided us with lots of information and kept us up to date with what to expect. We were so impressed with the plans in place and all of the staff were brilliant. Our daughter is
thoroughly enjoying her time at the nursery and we have already seen her come on in leaps and bounds and look forward to seeing what the rest of the year brings.

Little Pioneers Walsall Wood Nursery is a great nursery my children look forward to attending and always have a great time when there. Staff are kind, helpful and friendly and the one on one interaction with the children is excellent. My children are more confident and are developing individually very
well.
The nursery is a big help in my children's lives in general, would recommend it to anyone.

We have always found each member of staff to be helpful and approachable and most importantly caring and sympathetic to our children's needs. The Parentzone app whilst useful doesn't, for us, replace that face to face conversation with our child's carers to really find out what our child has been like
during the day. The carers are always happy to provide that end of day debrief. The facilities are always clean and the environment is always exciting and stimulating for the children. The outdoor space is also a very good feature of the nursery.

Little Pioneers have been amazing with my daughter since she started when she was 9 months old. She is now 2 1/2 and her learning is vastly improved by her attendance at the nursery. As well as this, she is looked after lovingly and she loves every second of being there.

I have 2 children who attend the nursery and both love it, especially the oldest one who never wants to leave at the end of the day. The staff are professional and extremely friendly. They make you feel like you are leaving the children in the care of friends. Both have come on leaps and bounds since
attending nursery and the things they get to do and learn are things that I probably wouldn't think to do with them.
