At Little Pioneers Walsall Wood there are four main areas within the nursery, a secure baby room for babies 3 months to 1 year, a large bright toddler room for 12 months – 2 years, another large bright room for children aged 2-4 years.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They hold the green flag status (the highest award) in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning. They have an app, ParentZone, which keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

Furthermore there is a specific room to support the learning of the 3-5 year olds, complete with laptop and computer that pre-schoolers can use at any time as they are encouraged to explore and access activities independently. The nursery has two secure outside play areas which the children are able to access at least twice a day.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. The staff go out of their way to help in anyway they can. They are so friendly and polite. My daughter's key worker is fabulous, nothing is too much trouble.

Friendly and caring staff. Both children and staff appear happy and staff are always willing to discuss any concerns or activities that the children have done. My son enjoys being here and enjoys talking about his day at home.

Our little girl loves nursery, we never have any issues with drop off in a morning and she tells us all about her day at tea time. We have seen a real improvement with her development and the daily feedback we get from the staff shows she is well looked after and the staff are really getting to know
her. Parents evenings are great and give us a good opportunity to discuss ours and our child's needs and how we can work together to develop them. We have even decided not to move into stare nursery at three as we feel our child is in the best place.

I am very happy with this nursery. Every member of staff makes me and my daughter feel welcome, which is why I feel she has settled really quickly. She really likes her key worker.

Excellent nursery always happy to help. Staff are amazing really understanding and my son loves them all. Chef is brilliant always accommodates my son's allergies. Healthy food and my son has come on leaps and bounds since starting Cooperative nursery Walsall Wood. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We visited a lot of nurseries and this has to be the best for good value with all included moto. Even arranged for my son oat milk to be ordered each week and included in the rate out no extra cost.

Great nursery with lots of activities to educate and develop my daughter. Staff are very friendly and attentive to my daughter, especially in the morning when she is dropped off. A lot of effort is put into reporting on my daughters day which is important to us.

My daughter has been at Early Birds for nearly two years. Though she has been extremely nervous, shy and insecure. She is cared fro extremely well. Her key workers are very patient and her confidence has blossomed. We have no hesitation in sending her to Early Birds and would recommend it to others.

After looking at many local nurseries we personally found that the Co Op offers excellent facilities, care, meals and value for money.
The staff are always welcoming and made us feel that our daughter was their utmost priority.
Our daughter has always enjoyed her sessions at the Co Op and this gives
