My child has had their issues at this nursery, often more than I would like to deem necessary. The management team are always on hand or a call away to help resolve issues quickly for me and my child. Although sometimes I wish I didn't have to constantly go to management with reoccurring issues, I am glad however that they take my concerns seriously. Their new manager is the best manager the nursery has had since my child attended and she will go above and beyond for you and your concerns. The nursery's main concern is always in the children, so even if you have to specify things about your child, they will take your advice seriously and always do what's best for your child.

A lovely nursery with a team of staff that are friendly. My child enjoys being there and her interests are considered in activities they plan, when possible. We get a good overview of the day on pick up which is always helpful.
My little girl has attended Little Pioneers right from 12 months old. She has loved every day she has been here and she has gone from strength to strength as she has developed. All of the adults at the nursery are so kind, caring and passionate about caring for and aiding the children's development and fostering their interests. The adults really do care about the children in their care and it really is like a home from home. The children all feel valued and listened to and my daughter's communication skills and language have really improved. The nursery is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and it really is. I feel that communication is one of their strong points and I feel and have always felt kept up to date with my daughter's day, meals, and development. My little girl loves nursery and we will be sad to leave in the summer as she moves on to school.

My child joined the Co-Op Walsall Wood Nursery over a year ago. We previously had a really bad experience with a different nursery and I was very apprehensive about bringing my daughter to a new nursery. I have to hand on heart say the teaching staff at the nursery are exceptional, from the day she started I instantly felt like my confidence and trust came back very quickly. Now I would have no hesitation in recommending/referring this nursery or any Co-Op nursery to any of my family/friends.

Our daughter has attended Little Pioneers since she was twelve months old. She has had the most wonderful nursery experience that has helped to fully prepare her for school life. The staff provide a caring and nurturing environment, making sure the children develop a love of learning and independence. Our daughter loves going to nursery and enjoys sharing her wonderful experiences when she comes home. She is given the opportunity to develop her own interests and share her home experiences at nursery too. The nursery has excellent communication with her parents, keeping us fully informed about her progress and areas for development. There are numerous events that parents can be involved in and themed activity days for the children. We would highly recommend Little Pioneers for any child to give them the best start.

My little boy has attended Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school since he was 8 months old. We were really nervous putting him into nursery so young, and even though this nursery was a little far away for us it has been absolutely worth it for the peace of mind, security, cleanliness, space, staff, activities, everything. He has absolutely flourished there. It is rated Outstanding by Ofsted for a reason. I'm kept up to date throughout the day with pictures and info on activities, food, naps and nappie changes. He has a key worker for personal care who he loves, the range of food they have and the activities they do is great. The different sensory zones, the indoor and outdoor spaces, the room sizes and child led play has been excellent in my little one's development. The care and attention he receives is brilliant, and the security is excellent too. He really enjoys it and I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly.
My experience of Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school has been excellent. My son started at the setting in 2018 and has progressed through all rooms and my daughter is now settling into her nursery journey here. The care given by the practitioners is wonderful and gives me confidence that my children will be happy and safe. I receive regular updates of their progress via the app. All staff contribute to making Little Pioneers such a lovely place!

Over the last three years, my son has received excellent care, nurturing and education whilst at Little Pioneers. Our experience has been nothing but positive and my son is excited to go to Nursery every morning. He tells us of all the lovely things he has been exploring when he comes home and he clearly feels a part of the Little Pioneers family. I would highly recommend this nursery it will feel a tremendous shame when my son has to eventually leave.

The staff at Little Pioneers are very friendly and welcoming. My son can’t wait to get to nursery each week and always has a big smile on his face when the door opens. We have also watched him develop greatly since starting at Little Pioneers and it’s wonderful to see this continuing. The nursery itself is clean, tidy and safe with plenty of fun and educational things to keep the children engaged. We are also very pleased with how the nursery keeps us updated regularly throughout the day via the app.
My daughter started when she was 9 months and has attended for 2 fulls days a week ever since. Returning to work was hard - but I didn’t have to worry as I knew she would be in safe hands. She’s now in pre-school and will be going to school in September. The nursery have been fantastic throughout - supporting her development and encouraging her every step of the way. They genuinely care about the children which means that I have two girls who love their time at nursery. I get updates throughout their day so I know how they are and what they’ve been getting up to. The staff go to great lengths to organise interesting and fun activities to stimulate the girls and help them to develop. I am extremely pleased and thankful to the staff for everything they have done. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for child care.
The staff arrange a wide range of activities and always give us brilliant feedback on how our daughter is getting on, how she has interacted as well as observations and plans for encouraging her development. The staff have always been very friendly and reassuring with us and I am very confident that they know how to make sure all of the children in their care get the best out of their time at nursery.
I am looking forward to my daughter being able to benefit from even more of the nursery’s facilities and partnerships as she progresses through their age groups, for example, their intergenerational project with a nearby care home.

Our little one loves it and is thriving here. Wish I could rate it higher. The food is amazing too, he gets such a variety. He’s always happy to run to whoever’s there to greet him. He’s been able to explore and learn about all sorts of things here, from land snails to different religions.
Our little one learns so much here and is always so happy to go. He runs out every day with lots of fun stories to tell me about his day. The staff really do care about every child and plan activities based on the childrens hobbies and interests.
My daughter has attended Little Pioneers since she was 11 months old and she loves going. She is a super confident little lady and everyone is so helpful and thoughtful with her, they really do bring the best out in your children.
Our baby’s only been for two full day sessions so far but we’re totally happy! The parent app is brilliant and we have complete confidence in the staff to cater to our baby’s needs throughout the day.
My daughter has been settled in last week and the nursery have been great. She is a lockdown baby and so super attached to me but the nursery have done everything they can to support us as a family. She is so well looked after and the app is updated so often it’s amazing! Highly recommend to everyone.
We loved this nursery from the initial look around. Our son has attended from twelve months old and is now two and a half, attending Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school - Walsall Wood has really helped his development. He enjoys attending and the app is wonderful for knowing how he is getting on for each day he attends, from meals he has eaten to activities he is doing. The staff are friendly and provide lots of assistance if needed and the facilities are clean, modern and welcoming, meaning our son has a wonderful time when he attends. I have recommended this nursery to my friends for their children and am really happy our son has a place here.

Toni has been part of Little Pioneers Walsall Wood for five years, beginning her journey as a practitioner before stepping into the role of manager. With over 17 years of experience in early years education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for helping children flourish. Toni is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. She works closely with families and her team to ensure the nursery continues to offer high-quality care and inspiring learning experiences.
Gage has been part of Little Pioneers Walsall Wood for four years, beginning his journey with us as an apprentice and growing into his current role as Deputy Manager. His enthusiasm, dedication, and genuine love for working with children shine through in everything he does, helping to create a nurturing, joyful environment where every child feels valued and supported. Gage is passionate about child development and brings a calm, reassuring presence to the nursery. He builds strong, trusting relationships with families and colleagues, and he is always ready to step in with thoughtful guidance, creative ideas, and a positive outlook. As a leader, he champions our cooperative values, supporting the team to deliver high-quality practice and ensuring our setting remains a safe, inspiring place for children to learn and thrive.
Fiona has been a dedicated and valued member of Little Pioneers for over 13 years, bringing her experience, warmth, and consistency to every room across the nursery. Now serving as the Room Manager for Little Adventures, she leads with confidence, care, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. As a Level 3 qualified practitioner, Fiona is genuinely passionate about supporting children to grow, thrive, and achieve their next steps. Her enthusiasm, commitment, and nurturing approach shine through in her daily practice, making her an integral part of our team and a trusted figure for families and colleagues alike.
Tonee is a dedicated and compassionate professional who plays a vital role in the nursery setting. As a room manager, Tonee ensures that the learning environment is engaging, safe, and structured to support children's development. Their leadership helps create a warm and stimulating space where young learners can thrive.
In addition to managing the room, Tonee also takes on the important role of Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). This means they advocate for children with additional needs, ensuring that each child receives the support and resources necessary to develop their skills and confidence. They work closely with families, teachers, and external specialists to tailor learning experiences that cater to every child's unique requirements.
With her creativity and expertise, Louise crafts menus that cater to diverse dietary needs, making sure that every child can enjoy a wholesome meal. Her dedication goes beyond just cooking—she fosters a love for good food, helping little ones discover new flavours and healthy eating habits in a fun and engaging way.
Beyond her culinary skills, Louise’s presence adds to the comforting atmosphere of the nursery. She’s more than just the person behind the meals—she’s a friendly face, always ready with a warm smile and a kind word. Whether whipping up hearty lunches or preparing treats for special occasions, Louise plays an essential role in making the nursery feel like a home away from home.
Jo is a pillar of warmth and experience in the baby room, having dedicated an incredible 30 years to caring for the youngest members of the nursery. Her deep understanding of infant development, combined with her gentle and nurturing approach, makes her an invaluable presence in the lives of both the babies and their families.
Over the years, Jo has supported countless little ones as they take their first steps, say their first words, and grow in confidence. Her patience and attentiveness ensure that every baby receives the love and care they need to feel safe and secure in their early learning environment.
