Busy Bees Dudley is a purpose built setting located in the heart of the community.

Inside the nursery, each room is spacious and welcoming, with a variety of resources to promote development at every age and stage. Outside, the garden space allows children to play and explore in the fresh air.

The team at the nursery are committed to delivering the highest quality care and support to each child, ensuring they get the best start to their early life and education. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, they provide a range of activities and experiences to engage children, promote their learning and make sure every day is filled with fun and happy memories.

Through the ‘ParentZone’ app, parents and families can be a part of their child's time at the nursery. The team will send updates and photos so no milestone or key moment is ever missed.

I can’t rate this nursery highly enough. My four year old has attended Busy Bees at Dudley since she was nine months old and my son also attended before starting school. The staff are incredible, always cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. My daughter has a great relationship with the staff and
she talks about them fondly at the weekends. I particularly like how they include the children in the conversation at handover which shows how child centered they are. Really accommodating which is important for working parents, the nursery has been a life line through this pandemic. I remember their first days at nursery and how supportive the staff were of both me and my children with their introductions. The piece of mind I have, knowing my child is somewhere safe and somewhere she is happy is priceless.

My son has attended the nursery since he was one and is now nearly four. I have been happy with all of his care. Any problems, I have been able to speak to his key worker or the manager and they have been supportive and dealt with the issue immediately. My son adores his key workers and I am sure he
will be ready for transitioning to reception, thanks to his nursery. The fees do feel quite expensive but I do think it's worth the money.

My child has attended this nursery since Feb 2019. I moved my son here from another nursery after failings in my son's care, so was nervous trusting again. My daughter started this nursery a couple of weeks ago and has always been a child that has struggled to settle. My daughter loves coming to this nursery and always talks about the staff and what fabulous activities they have done that day. My daughter has come on developmentally loads the past couple
of weeks and I can really see a difference in her. She is such a confident happy girl now. Staff always give feedback at the end of the day telling me what she has done and how she has eaten. Staff are very approachable as well always willing to help.

My experience so far with this nursery has been excellent overall. As a first time Dad, I found the prospect at a nursery daunting but after seeing my little one reluctant to leave at the end of the day, I knew he hadn't had any problems. Since then, I have enjoyed discussing with nursery staff what

Katie Pearson

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2009

I have worked for the Busy Bees family since 2009 and in those years I have gained experience in various nurseries within the company. In January 2018 I moved back to manage Dudley after a 4-year management position at Busy Bees - Kings Heath.


I have completed a Diploma in Childcare and Education, a Level 3 in Management, Paediatric First Aid & First Aid at Work. I am also the named Designated Safeguarding Lead within the nursery.


I love coming to nursery every day as no day is the same. I enjoy getting involved in all the amazing activities we have to offer and being a part of every child's learning and development. We have a wonderful staff team who strive to deliver the very best quality in everything they do.


My aim is to support and guide my staff team into delivering outstanding childcare to ensure that every child that attends our setting has the very best start in life.
