Flutterbies Day Nursery strive to ensure that children benefit from a full and interesting nursery experience, providing them with opportunities to explore in a calming environment which provokes learning.

The nursery has been designed and decorated using pastel tones which complement the nursery's selection of natural resources that have been carefully chosen to help children learn and be creative.

Flutterbies believe that every child is unique and recognise that children learn in different ways and at different stages to their peers.

Children are supported to learn through a programme of activities that is carefully tailored around their needs and interests.

    Minimum sessions for children aged 0-3 years:
    Children aged 0-3 years may only book full-day sessions. We do not offer half-day sessions to children aged 0-3 years. The minimum number of sessions for children aged 0-3 years is two full days per week. If you book less than three full days, one of those days must be either a Monday or Friday.

    The minimum number of sessions for children aged 3+ years is three half-day sessions per week or one full-day session plus one half-day session per week. If you book less than three full days, one of those days must be either a Monday or Friday.

Excellent nursery with amazing staff! The children have developed so well during their time at Flutterbies Day Nursery & Pre-school, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery. Both of my boys attend Flutterbies, one in pre-school and one in babies/first steps. I was in no doubt for my youngest to attend, as my eldest has thrived and the care and activities they both get during their days at the nursery are second to none. All members of staff are super friendly and both boys
always have a great time and come out with a smile on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble and day in and day out, I know they feel happy and comfortable to grow and develop.

I have used Flutterbies Day Nursery & Pre-school for over 3 years. Firstly with my eldest son in pre-school which he loved and thrived. Secondly, my youngest son has been with flutterbies from 10 months old until 4 years. He absolutely loved it. The staff care for the children ensuring they get all
the care and education they need, that is tailored to the appropriate age. My son developed a particularly strong bond with one of his key workers which was such a heartwarming thing to see. I never had any concerns about children's wellbeing and they always returned home happy.
The nursery will support with potty training and has all the appropriate information to signpost you to support services if required.
I 100 per cent would recommend and if I have another baby I wouldn't hesitate with sending them to be part of the Flutterbies family.

My son has only been attending the nursery for a week and already we can see positive changes in him. He is 13 months old and already trying to run everywhere. His coordination has come on brilliantly, he is always happy when we pick him up, even crying one day because they had to stop him playing to
go home. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. The staff are brilliant and keep you well informed of activities and goings-on throughout the day. Best decision we made and will highly recommend the nursery to everyone.

My grandchildren development has come on leaps and bounds. The staff ensure they reach the key skills they need and encourage them. They are so caring and are aware of each child individual needs and keep the parents informed regularly so we can practice the same things at home. My grandchildren are

Since my son started in June 2019 at eight weeks old, the staff have been amazing. With him being so young naturally, I was slightly hesitant to leave him whilst I returned to work full time, however after a week or so he settled in perfectly.
Having used a few other childcare settings in the past,
I would highly recommend Flutterbies to any parent looking for top-quality childcare, the staff are amazing, the facilities are excellent and the daily/regular updates on your child's progress are brilliant.
This is an excellent Nursery!

My son has been at Flutterbies since he was 8-months-old and he is now 4 and starts school in September. The staff at the nursery have been amazing and helped him develop over the years, I could not have wished for more.

My son and daughter attend Flutterbies and are in First Steps and also the baby room. Both children thoroughly enjoy nursery and are constantly being engaged with and encouraged to develop all their senses. Their verbal and motor skills are constantly encouraged by all the staff within the nursery setting.

My daughter has been attending Flutterbies for around 1.5years. I had a look around many nurseries, and this one gave me the right feeling mainly down to how they allow children to explore independently but there is also structure and routine in place.
There's a good mix of activities ranging from
traditional outdoor play to indoor creative play. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting - particularly her speech. She has bonded well with the lovely staff members and has made some great friends too. We luckily have no tears when we drop her, but some times the odd tear when she doesn't want to come home!
Meals are well balanced and the variety is absolutely excellent. My daughter was a late walker, but her key worker at the time encouraged her so much and now she doesn't stop!
It's a total peace of mind leaving my daughter all day long for 3 days a week knowing my daughter is learning, having fun and being cared for by the fantastic Flutterbies team. THANK YOU!

My daughter has recently started at Flutterbies and I have been extremely pleased with the care provided and how well they have gotten to know my child personally. Staff are always very welcoming in the mornings and provide outstanding activities for the children. It is just a relief knowing I can leave
them in capable hands knowing she is being truly cared for. The staff in her room have worked closely with me to ensure she has settled in as easily as possible. You can tell the staff truly care for the children and show this every day. The nursery manager is also lovely and will always make time out of her day to greet us in the mornings or catch up in the evenings.

My son began in January this year and from the very first moment we stepped into the nursery we were very impressed. The staff were friendly, reassuring, positive and professional. They made my leaving my son so much easier. Even though he struggled to settle at first, the staff were patient, helpful
and very understanding. My son now skips into nursery and has become so confident and is developing and thriving accordingly. I believe this is due to the outstanding care and dedication of all staff at the setting. Thank you very much from a very happy mum.

I’m Yasmin, Nursery Manager of Flutterbies Day Nursery.


I’ve worked in childcare for more than 15 years, holding a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and currently working towards my Level 5 in Operational Management. I’m committed to supporting each child as an individual, and recognising their unique needs, interests, and ways of learning. My goal is to create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel valued, secure, and confident to explore and grow.


At Flutterbies, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to leading by example. I’m passionate about fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where every member feels valued, supported, and driven by a shared vision.
