Westwood Day Nursery (Coventry)

Westwood nursery is amazing. My little boy loves every day he spends there. They are outstanding at communication and always letting me know how he is and how is getting on. He has come on leaps and bounds with his skills since attending. All of his key workers have been fantastic; they are so kind and caring. Everyone is always so friendly on arrival and pick up times. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who has children that want to leave them in a kind, caring hands. He always has fun, and it’s so reassuring to know he is cared for as good as being at home.

Enrolling my son at Westwood Nursery is the best decision I have ever made. He went from suffering from severe separation anxiety to a confident, self-assured child. He has loads of friends and is meeting or exceeding all milestones. In my opinion, Westwood played a huge role in this. The keyworkers worked hard to give him individual attention and support to increase his confidence, and his strong bond with the staff has helped tremendously.

Westwood is laid out well with different activities planned for every day. Even better, these activities are based on the interests of the children currently in their care, and they really allow the children to shape what is planned for the day. Health and safety are taken very seriously, and I am completely confident that my son is safe in their care.

It is clear that the staff are hugely invested in keeping children safe and happy.

Westwood Day Nursery is a warm friendly nursery with such dedicated staff that go above and beyond for the children in their care. My little boy has attended the setting since September and his development has come on a huge deal. He absolutely loves going to nursery. We are kept well informed by ParentZone. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been going to Westwood day nursery for a few months now. She has settled in great and has a lovely time every day! She is starting to come out of herself more when she is at nursery! I love getting the updates through the app and the photos of the activities they post!

Westwood Day Nursery is a fantastic place for children to learn and develop. My 2 children attend this nursery and my son had special educational needs and the staff and his key workers have helped him massively to overcome any issues and developmental needs he required. He is a very confident and happy child and he loves to see his friends at nursery and learned so much in the 3 years he has been there. My daughter started 1 year ago and she also loves going to the nursery, the staff keep me up to date on their day via Parentzone, they have worked very hard to keep the nursery open during the Coronovirus pandemic. I highly recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for a place for their child within the Coventry and Kenilworth area. The management team are always very friendly when I drop and collect my children, I missed the team a lot when they were closed during last years summer lockdown, but they provided many useful resources on their website so I could continue these nursery activities.

Our daughter has excelled at Westwood Nursery due to the outstanding team that are there. This applied from management to the chefs. The time, care and communication from the nursery is second to none. I have recommended the nursery to numerous friends and family.

I have 2 children at Westwood nursery and have absolutely no complaints, my children love going every day and there is always a wide range of activities for them to engage in and they are well looked after. Staff are friendly and always happy to have a chat. I would recommend the nursery to anyone looking because I believe they really do their best to make sure all the children attending are happy, cared for and nurtured.

Westwood Day Nursery has been so welcoming and accommodating ever since my son started 8 months ago. We are always greeted with happy smiles and my son comes back content and happy! He is learning so much more than I would be able to offer at home, particularly the social interactions with other adults and children. This is sculpting him into a happy confident little boy! We get lots of feedback via the ParentZone app and I can tell the staff genuinely take pleasure looking after my son, nothing is too much trouble.

I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

The times are great as I start work early in the morning.

I would also like to praise the nursery for how well they kept in touch with us parents over the months they were closed. We had emails giving us activities to do each week. Ideas on how to keep on little ones engaged and learning, and also how the nursery was making the changes to welcome us back. These emails and information were vital in keeping our spirits up and knowing that it wouldn't be long before they would be back playing with their friends.

My youngest son is nearing the end of his time at Westwood, having attended full time from 10 months - his starting school in September will mark the first time in six and a half years that we haven't had a child at Westwood. Both of our boys loved their time - the staff are caring and encouraging, and forge great bonds with the children. The catering is outstanding with a good range of fresh healthy meals cooked on site, and dietary requirements, including vegetarian in our case, well catered for - we've especially appreciated being able to arrange for the kitchen to create birthday cakes that all of the children are able to share and enjoy. The space is kept clean and the range of toys and learning resources is excellent. Our boys have been very happy, and from pre-school, very well prepared for the transition to school. They will miss Westwood, and so will we.

Amazing nursery - so supportive of parents and children. My son looks forward to going every day. Wish he could stay there forever as they have developed him so well in all skills. Looking forward to my newborn also attending. Always highly recommend this nursery.

Westwood nursery has been our nursery of choice for 6 years now. My elder son was here from the age of 10 months - 4 years old. Now my youngest son is here - he absolutely loves it! Both have flourished here and are so content. The staff are always approachable, friendly and great at giving advice. They focus on building solid relationships with the children and care for them very well. I have already recommended this nursery to family and friends. Keep up the amazing work that you all do - thank you.

Both of my children have attended Westwood and even though there is 5 years between them the care they both received about been outstanding. The meals that are provided have such a good balance and my daughter always enjoys them. Although this has been a tricky time nursery has continued to support us as a family sending emails of updates and activities to do. They have really supported my daughter with the transition of coming back into nursery after 4 months away. Also, the staff are all amazing and so caring.

My 2-year-old daughter has been attending this nursery for a year now and we are very happy with her placement. They do a good mix of activities and learning and lots of outdoor time. I also like that they give a great variety of food at mealtimes. The staff are great and very helpful and happy to answer any questions. My daughter is always excited to go and see her friends and the staff, I would highly recommend Westwood.

We have had nothing but a positive experience with this nursery. Our daughter has been there for about 6 months and she loves it as well as everyone who cares for her. Her development is recorded and we are involved in all of it. During COVID and reopening they have been outstanding at making us comfortable and secure. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Since my child joined nursery in 2017, my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and loves going to the nursery every afternoon. We love all the teachers who are warm, caring and very professional. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. Thank you so much for making the difference. Very satisfied with the nursery, staff are excellent, helped my Little One to settle very well despite her strong separation anxiety. Activities and learning above average. Location is very good with a lot of green. Would definitely recommend.

We cannot fault this nursery - all staff go above and beyond their duties and we are so pleased that we chose this nursery for our son. He has been attending the nursery 2 days per week for almost 2 years now and we are extremely happy to see the bond he has made between his key workers and the other children. Every aspect of the nursery is of an excellent standard and we would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent. Our son absolutely loves going to nursery and looks forward to his days spent there every single week.
