Cotton Tails Nursery has been serving the Quinton, Birmingham community for over 14 years.

Comprehensive CCTV coverage ensures that the childcare services for children from birth to five years old are delivered in a safe, sociable, and secure environment.

Children are grouped by age into designated rooms: the Baby Room accommodates infants from birth to one year, the Tweenies Room serves children aged one to two, and the Pre-school Room is designed for those aged two to three. Older children, ages three to five, participate in educational and play activities within the School Room.

Throughout their time at the nursery, children receive nappies as needed and enjoy freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals.

Cotton Tails maintain an open-door policy, allowing parents to visit and observe their child's progress during their nursery experience.

The nursery is staffed by a team of qualified and experienced professionals who possess the relevant early years credentials as well as going through a vigorous recruitment process.

My children love attending Happy Days and are always delighted to arrive in the morning. The nursery is clean, organised and well-staffed with an excellent variety of activities to keep the children busy. Staff are approachable, well-informed and enthusiastic and I have every confidence that they do
their best for the children in their care. Communication with parents is very good on a daily basis and staff will always try to personalise learning according to the needs of the child. As a parent, I can always feel confident that my children are well cared for when they are in nursery and I would not hesitate to recommend this setting to other families.

Both of my children have absolutely loved Happy Days. Staff have always gone out of their way to make sure the children are happy and settled. It is always a delight to hear how much fun they have had in the day. I have no hesitation in recommending Happy Days.

Happy Days is a very welcoming environment. The different rooms are always bright and the walls full of the children's creations which is lovely to see. I have a good relationship with the nursery staff in my son's room and they always tell me what he has been up to during the day often surprising me
with something new that he has said or learnt. The staff are great at encouraging my son to try new things and they have been brilliant in supporting developmental aspects like feeding himself and potty training! I know my son has a great day at Nursery!

The staff are friendly, attentive, confident and have a good approach with my daughter. They have supported her over the years to make good progress in all areas. The nursery environment is clean and welcoming and the displays are constantly refreshed to show the children's artwork. My daughter seems
to be always kept busy during her day at nursery with a variety of activities. Communication is also good and parent feedback seems to be important there. Overall I'm really happy that my daughter attends Happy Days at Quinton and would like to thank the staff for their ongoing support with the care they provide for my daughter.

As a parent having care provided to my daughter from the age of 9 months up until now where she is almost 4. I can honestly say the service is outstanding as my daughter is thriving, confident and very happy.


The staff are attentive and show a high level of professionalism. It's a warm nursery

that stands up to its name "Happy Days", as the peace of mind I get leaving my daughter is invaluable, and I highly recommend it.


My only recommendation considering it is a high end priced nursery is the children could be taken out more on day trips.

We are extremely pleased with the experience, education and most importantly care that is given to our son. He is always very happy when talking about his day at nursery. The whole team are always welcoming, polite and kind to the whole family.

My Granddaughter finished her time at Happy Days this summer, having been there since 6 months old. She has had an amazing time there, her development has been incredible. She is a social, happy little girl and has been fully supported in all aspects of her growing up. From weaning, to toilet training,
to being school ready. Weaning was a really hard time for her as she had numerous allergies to begin with, but her meals were individually catered for and she was able to have a wide and varied menu. The staff have paid attention to her every need and shown genuine care towards her at all times. She has always been happy to go into the nursery and at times had to be encouraged to leave.

Hi, my name is Rachel Jarrett, and I have been part of the staffing team at Happy Days since 2009. Since starting, I have worked in a mixture of age groups.


My professional development has always been valued, and I have been supported in promotion from Room coordinator to Deputy Manager now to Manager.


I am the Lead for Safeguarding in the setting, an area I am really passionate about. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree in learning support and plan to go on and achieve my full BA(Hons) in this subject.
