Cotton Tails Nursery has been serving the Quinton, Birmingham community for over 14 years.

Comprehensive CCTV coverage ensures that the childcare services for children from birth to five years old are delivered in a safe, sociable, and secure environment.

Children are grouped by age into designated rooms: the Baby Room accommodates infants from birth to one year, the Tweenies Room serves children aged one to two, and the Pre-school Room is designed for those aged two to three. Older children, ages three to five, participate in educational and play activities within the School Room.

Throughout their time at the nursery, children receive nappies as needed and enjoy freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals.

Cotton Tails maintain an open-door policy, allowing parents to visit and observe their child's progress during their nursery experience.

The nursery is staffed by a team of qualified and experienced professionals who possess the relevant early years credentials as well as going through a vigorous recruitment process.

Brilliant Nursery always helpful and attentive staff. We had worries in picking a nursery as it’s such an important decision but it was definitely the right one. We love the the tapestry app and photos at the end of the week.

Our child has been attending for nearly two years now and loves her time at nursery. All the team are fantastic; she loves talking about her teachers! Great variety of activities and she is always bringing new crafts and creations home! Would highly recommend.

My son has been at Happy Days for almost three years. He attended throughout the pandemic, which was an unsettled period with lots of changes in guidance/closures, which were well managed by the nursery and parents were kept fully in the loop and involved. The quality of care and education my son received
during the pandemic was unaffected; he has continued to flourish. I have never had any concerns for my son's safety or well-being whilst he is in the care of Happy Days, and any grumbles I have had over the last three years have been dealt with quickly and effectively. Staff are compassionate, engaging, and above all, they care.
The day is tailored to the children, and staff have taken the time to get to know my son, his personality and his interests and used those to maximise his engagement. Parents are really involved, and they hold stay-and-plays and themed open evenings, which are a lovely bonding experience but also give an insight into my son's time at nursery. Couldn't be happier with my choice of nursery.

Happy Days has been taking care of my child since he was 11 months old. He has transitioned from the baby room, to the tweenie room and is now in their preschool room. He has loved each room, formed great relationships with all the staff and has made great friends. They are great food menu which is
on a 4 week rotation and have a summer menu/winter menu.
They also offer outings, stay and plays and parent partnerships so the parents feel in involved within their child's nursery experience.
Very happy and would recommend it.

After many lockdowns and bringing up a baby in a covid world, I was nervous about leaving my baby with other people. I wanted her to go to the nursery to start her mixing with others in the world. The staff have been not only wonderful to my child but are supportive to us as parents too. They are always
happy and make every child feel like an individual. All the staff know all the children's names and I feel like they treat each child so uniquely to fit their personalities. I love getting the feedback and I love how we are always kept up to date. I would recommend happy days to anyone!

Happy Days is a wonderful nursery with caring and supportive staff. My son has been with Happy Days for the past year and has absolutely loved every moment of it.
My son has speech delay and hearing issues, of which the nursery have been so supportive.
The theme days and events are always well organised
and lots of fun for him and we have had the opportunity to go into the nursery to experience these alongside our son too which is lovely!
The food the children eat is wonderful; varied, healthy, home-cooked food.
The new outdoor area is fantastic and I can’t wait to explore it myself! One small adjustment could be the inside of the nursery. Parts can be quite outdated and in need of some TLC but this doesn’t take away from the brilliant care the staff provides for the children.

Since starting my little man at nursery he has learnt so much and settled in well. He is comfortable with the staff and all staff are so kind and attentive. It's hard work looking after all the little ones yet they are able to tell me activities my little man has liked, tell me funny stories and take
time to give feedback and upload lovely observations. Ever since my first visit, I had nothing but good vibes from the nursery. As a first time mom that had been away from my boy for a total of a few hours, I was feeling nervous about sending my son to nursery but all worries were eased almost instantly and I knew this was the right place for my son. Staff that look after the older children say hello to my little man and know him by name which I think is really sweet. The staff do not mind answering any questions I have and do an amazing job. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Lots of fun activities, variety of well balanced meals and care at this nursery!

My daughter started this nursery when she was 2 years old during the COVID 19 pandemic. Within the first couple of months her speech had developed great, I also had a lot of support and advice regarding potty training; where I felt my daughter really thrived in the nursery setting with using the toilet.
I also felt able to voice my feelings and have them heard and had great support with helping my daughter feel as comfortable and as happy as possible whilst at nursery. All of the staff are so kind and friendly and my daughter has loved every member of staff that has taken care of her. Since starting in the school room her writing skills have really impressed us at home and gave us the perfect starting point for practising together at home too. Every day my daughter has food she loves and often has seconds too. Will definitely be using this nursery again for my younger daughter.

Our son joined Happy Days at Quinton nursery in November 2020 during the pandemic. Watching our son developing over the last few months since joining the nursery has been joyful. The staff have been very pleasant, professional and when there has been any issue, we have been informed straight away.
The staff also go into a lot of detail at the end of each day that our son attends the nursery, from playtime, feeds to naps. Our son really enjoys going to nursery and we are very thankful that he is at Happy Days at Quinton.

Our little boy loves coming to the nursery. He has just moved up to the pre-school room and really enjoys all of the activities and adventures that he has.
He always talks about his friends and the team and tells us what he has been up to. The nursery provides a fantastic level of support and care.
The team always make us feel welcome and are always there to offer support. The pandemic has caused a level of disruption for everyone but the nursery has always put the health and wellbeing of the children at the forefront of everything they have done. The nursery has always been clean and well maintained and the staff take real pride in what they do.
The range of activities provided are varied and support child development and learning. The nursery also provides excellent meals throughout the day and show a wide range of different foods allowing the children to experience and try different types of food and tastes.
I would recommend this nursery to any parent.

I would recommend this nursery to everybody! My son absolutely loves going to nursery every morning now, he has a fantastic relationship with the staff and they are absolutely amazing! So caring and supportive and they really do care about the development of the children and supporting them. Lots of

I have sent all of my three children to Happy Days nursery. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and genuinely care about the children. My little people have made so much progress in their care. My littlest has medical issues, which the nursery deal with happily and she has come on leaps and
bounds. My children love all of the staff, and we can not fault anything about the place!

My child joined Happy Days in January 2020 and absolutely LOVES it! When it closed during lockdown she really missed the staff and children.
I can’t rate Happy Days highly enough. The staff are all so friendly and lovely, and they treat everyone so well.
I love that there are updates on the app
regarding what the kids have done and played with.
They’re great with getting the kids to eat a variety of different foods, and getting them to nap! I swear they have magic powers!

My son is loving his time at Happy Days. He’s coming on leaps and bounds.


The staff are amazing and my son enjoys his time there.


They have an app and keep parents updated on your child’s progress and add photos so we can see what are little ones are achieving.


I would highly recommend Happy

We are so pleased with how our daughter has settled back in at Happy Days since the end of lockdown. She had moved up to Tweenies and is really enjoying her two days a week. Her development over the past few months has come on leaps and bounds. She is now saying more words, has a wonderful interest
in books, loves dancing and interacting with others. She eats almost everything now and can even use a fork. The staff at happy days are so friendly and caring and provide a safe and caring environment for all the children. We look forward to seeing her develop even further. Thank you all.

Friendly, trustworthy staff. Food always sounds delicious and we love that the menu changes. Pre-covid, we loved the stay and play classes and activities. My daughter is very happy at this nursery, we love hearing her tales of playing with her friends and the activities she's been up to.

We love Happy Days - my daughter started here in March and we were very nervous about it. However, she settled in straight away, has bonded really well with the staff, and enjoys going. Happy Days gives her the opportunity to do activities that she wouldn't be able to do at home, and she is also able
to socialise with other children (and has made some friends). The nursery caters to her lactose-free diet which is great. We love the open mornings and extra activities like fun week - it's great to be able to go in and see the children in the lovely environment.

Hi, my name is Rachel Jarrett, and I have been part of the staffing team at Happy Days since 2009. Since starting, I have worked in a mixture of age groups.


My professional development has always been valued, and I have been supported in promotion from Room coordinator to Deputy Manager now to Manager.


I am the Lead for Safeguarding in the setting, an area I am really passionate about. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree in learning support and plan to go on and achieve my full BA(Hons) in this subject.
