Elmdon Day Nursery

Thanks for the help and encouragement with potty training too.

Our four-year-old daughter has attended Elmdon Nursery since she was eighteen months old. The nursery was recommended to us by a friend whose child also attended.

Elmdon is a fantastic nursery and our daughter has come on amazingly well, thanks to the brilliant staff. I have also recommended this nursery to friends who now have their children there. They have regular dance and singing classes which my daughter loves, and she is always bringing home cards, pictures etc that they have made.

I have also found the owner to be very approachable, flexible and very understanding and has always gone out of her way to help.

Our recently newborn daughter will also be attending once I go back to work next year. I wouldn't have even considered anywhere else!

This nursery is absolutely fantastic. The team there are quickly becoming a second family. They are lovely and welcoming and adhere to any change of routine or requests without question. My son has developed way ahead of his age, and it's with the help of this nursery and the team, that he has become so intelligent. I couldn't recommend it enough. The owner has always made my ever-changing schedule easy to comply with, and without any hesitation will make any necessary changes to suit mine and my son's needs, as well as my working hours. I am so glad she could find a place for my son here because I wouldn't want him anywhere else. Thanks to the team at Elmdon Day and keep up the amazing work!

Absolutely fabulous nursery. The staff are amazing. My little girl had problems at a previous nursery with potty training, so I moved her to this one as it was recommended. I was nervous at first with it being larger than her previous one, but they were amazing, she was clean within a few weeks - they are so kind and nurturing. My daughter loves it, could not be happier. They do so much with them indoors and outdoors, crafts, singing, Mud kitchen, these are just a few. I owe them my peace of mind in knowing my little girl is well looked after.

My two-year-old daughter has been here since January 2017, after being at a different nursery. She has come on in leaps and bounds and is always talking about nursery. She always comes home telling me about new things she has learnt, and what toys she has played with. She has grown so much and knows so much for her age. The staff are all amazing with her and look after her fantastically. As a full-time working mom, it gives me comfort that she is learning so much and loves going to nursery. Couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

I highly recommend this nursery and wouldn't send her anywhere else!

Early 7.30am drop off is ideal for us and we leave for work with complete peace of mind knowing that our children are cared for and enjoying themselves.

My youngest misses his big brother being at nursery now, but the staff are so understanding, loving and caring towards the kids that I never leave them feeling guilty because I know the girls are some of the best nursery nurses around.

My husband and I are very grateful for all of the support and help we and my daughter have been given. The team at Elmdon Daycare are brilliant, attentive, friendly and readily available if you want to chat about anything. They made the transition for me returning to work easier because my daughter was so happy at daycare. Her little sister will be joining full time in January as well.

Excellent nursery and very friendly staff, I feel so comfortable leaving both my children in their care. Feedback forms and facebook page allow excellent communication and enable me to discuss or copy activities at home. Plenty of variety and extra resource/classes available. Staff are really easy to talk to and very supportive, adapting to each child's character and needs. My children are always happy to know we are going to nursery, in fact sometimes too happy. They have plenty of friends and learn so much. They are always doing different themes like holidays, transport, animals, numbers. My son's group all take it in turns to read to each other. They are always evolving and creating new games/activities and play areas. Weather permitting and any opportunity they have the children play outdoors, which I love. They celebrate all the festivals and make everything fun. Elmdon is our second family. We love them.

I have a 1-year-old and 2-year old that have come on leaps and bounds since attending Elmdon day nursery. On a daily basis, the 2-year-old will ask if she's "going to play with children today?" And I've never seen her move quick enough to get dressed when it is nursery days! The staff are so lovely and my girls are so happy to walk in and see them, it reassures me that the staff are obviously interacting with them a lot as well as being kind and caring towards them! I've already told 3 people about the nursery for when their babies are born and will continue to refer other people to the nursery!!

Most welcoming and friendly nursery. I send my twins and I couldn't ask for nicer people to look after them. They do different activities and extra music classes. Love that there is a big garden and they get to play outside a lot. Really good value for money.

As a working mother who suffers from anxiety, it is imperative that I trust the carers of my children. My daughter started this nursery 3 years ago ... the best decision I have ever made. Their approach is warming and welcoming. They use compassionate and understanding with every child and are very accommodating when I need extra support anywhere. My son who is now 19 months has attended since he was 4 months old. I cannot recommend Elmdon Day Nursery enough and would encourage any parent.

When my daughter first started I was very concerned how she would cope in a nursery as she was a very clingy child and suffered separation anxiety.The staff were brilliant with her and went above and beyond their duty to comfort her and reassure me. To my amazement she settled in really quickly, she absolutely loves going now and that's all thanks to the wonderful staff at Elmdon Day Nursery. Staff there are friendly and very approachable. I would highly recommend this nursery, it's done wonders for my daughter and it's lovely to see how happy she is there.

My little one has been attending Elmdon Day since September 2016 and I can't express how much his learning development has improved. My little one can be very fussy but they introduced him to things I would never even think of, he loves painting and crafts now. He is starting to eat properly at meal times. I can't thank them enough for the time they spend and the quality of it! THEY CARE and it really does show. I love the environment and how they separate the children into correct age groups so they can concentrate on the correct learning development. The garden is amazing and they always make sure the children get some fresh air and exercise even in the drizzly days which I love. I 100% trust these girls with my little world, they have shown me that I can relax for a few hours knowing he is in safe hands.

Both my daughters attended Elmdon Day Nursery, my youngest still attending now and I am extremely happy with my choice. The staff are wonderful and most importantly my daughters were happy and safe so I could go back to work. The manageress is very helpful and easy to talk to and keeps a lovely clean environment for the children. My youngest has come a long way since starting Elmdon Day Nursery and it really is down to her and her wonderful staff.

Both of my sons have attended the nursery (youngest still attends). I cannot recommend them enough. All staff are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The thing I love the most is the loving and family feel you get the moment you arrive. Lots of affection and praise is given to all children and I know that my boys have settled and thrived in such a wonderful environment.

Elmdon Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery! Staff are friendly, caring and very approachable. The nursery seems to go above and beyond your expectations and I am extremely happy to send my child here :-)

As a first-time parent going back to work, sending my daughter to nursery was a difficult decision in my life. After visiting a couple of nurseries in the area, my husband and I decided against sending her to nurseries and a close friend looked after her while when I went back to work. After a month or so I came across Elmdon Day Nursery and after the first initial visit, we can happily say we have never looked back. Our daughter has attended the nursery from 10months old and is now in the pre-school side of it. My daughter is so happy and bubbly when we take her in and even at times cries when we get to the car because she enjoys her days so much. The staff members are amazing there and I couldn't wish for anyone better to be looking after my child. My daughter attends 5 days a week, so finding somewhere she bonded so well with the staff members and children is a massive thing for us as parents.
