Busy Bees Dartmouth Circus is a purpose-built setting with 4 Big bright airy rooms. As of 2017, it has been graded as 'OUTSTANDING' by OFSTED.

They offer a range of fantastic activities for children, challenging them in different ways. All activities are around the child's interests, which staff get from observations and knowing what the children like doing at home. This is all put together to ensure your child is developing in all 7 areas of learning.

They also have their own App Called UP (Unleash protentional) in which when you sign up you have full access to this in the comfort of your own home. This gives you everything from outdoor play, dance, songs, lullaby's, cooking, school transitions, Health and safety activities and guidance on many areas for example potty training.

Busy Bees Dartmouth circus has a strong dedicated team, who are trained in all Policies and Procedures. Busy Bees has a robust system in place to make sure all staff have the correct training at all times. All staff have safeguarding and are first aid trained.

They have their Parent zone in which all parents can access to see how your child's doing in the day, Observation. Assessments, and Photos on.

They provide a healthy and well-balanced menu which is changed each season, also introducing child's choices. They cater for allergies, intolerances and religious and cultural diets.

I'm very happy with Dartmouth Circus my son has attended since he was 9 months old and is almost 3 now. I am incredibly happy with the progress that he has made. He is confident and has a love of learning thanks to the support and love from the staff. There is a lovely welcoming atmosphere in the nursery
especially during the workshops, we asked grandparents to attend the Christmas workshop and they expressed how much they enjoyed taking part. Management is always available to help with any queries and always does their best to support families. I have a daughter who will start later on in the year and I'm sure that we will have another positive journey as the staff do a great job of building positive relationships and getting to know the individual needs of each child.

I have 2 children attending the nursery and they are doing really well. They key worker is very important and my kids have bonded well with them, although, the care is being provided by everyone. With some people they have bonded more than others. Overall, the staff are supportive, plenty of well planned
out activities and variety of toys/ play time.


The facilities are good as there is plenty of space for kids to move around and go to the outside garden.


Children receive prepared meals on site and can make dietary requirements when requested.


I like that there is flexibility to book additional sessions when needed.

Staff have been extremely supportive with my child and myself by aligning with our 'at home' targets and assisting with this, such as meeting his toilet training needs, educational milestones, preparing him for pre-school/ school etc. Staff are very good at informing parents with the children's day,
keeping us up to date with any new information, any progress the child has made, and the daily routine being easily accessible overall.
I'm also very happy with the safeguarding of children, and the importance that staff impose within this department.

I am so grateful for the wonderful care and attention my child receives at this nursery. The teachers are truly amazing - they are patient, kind, and genuinely invested in each child's development. I was worried putting my daughter in nursery! Which parent isn’t but honestly Busy Bees at Dartmouth Circus has put me at ease for the three years my daughter has been there! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Very professional and caring. My daughter has shown excellent growth and strength
with everything. Had a few issued but resolved straight away without question. The staff are really makes that nursery and they work really hard. Any kids that I have in the future I would definitely send them here. I live half an hour away but willing to travel.

My twins have been attending Busy Bees at Dartmouth Circus since the beginning of the year and both children have settled really well and even talk about nursery on their days off. The level of care and information provided whilst at nursery is exceptional and the staff are wonderful at reassuring parents

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was one years old. She is now in pre-school and the nursery has provided her with the greatest start to her educational journey. The nursery works alongside my home learning routine to ensure the maximum amount of learning and development occurs simultaneously,
as this process is a joint effort. I would definitely recommend this nursery to all and as a result I have successfully referred four relatives/friends to register with Busy Bees at Dartmouth Circus over a three year period.

Hello, my name is Sam and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Dartmouth Circus. I have worked with Busy Bees since 2015, starting as an Early Years Teacher/Assistant Centre Director. 


I have a level 6 qualification (Early Years Professional Status) and have completed my Level 5 Qualification in Management. I have completed many courses including Safeguarding, First Aid and Food Hygiene. 


I feel so proud watching the children progress here at Dartmouth Circus and have a fantastic team that provides quality childcare. I am always happy to help and support staff, parents and children.
