Tops Day Nurseries: Salisbury Nursery

I found some of the rules especially with regards to charges and holidays quite inflexible and unreasonable, but the local management was always willing to make the best of the situation. I think the management at the top should try and bring in some changes in this regard.

Tops Salisbury provides a fantastic nursery setting for both our children and we can’t recommend it enough. The staff are really friendly and enthusiastic and it’s always a relief knowing that when we drop the children off in the morning, they will be coming home with huge smiles on their faces whilst telling us all the exciting things that have happened that day. We always take advantage of the extra activities that Tops offer such as swimming and forest school which are both great value for money. Being able to book flexible hours around shift patterns is such an advantage and the support that the admin staff provide is amazing.

Communication is excellent.

Overall a very good environment.

My children have been attending the nursery for over two and a half years and they are always excited to be going. The nursery staff have always been approachable and have always been eager to help in any way they can. The small things often make a big difference and this is what I have found with this nursery. One example is when the staff see me struggling out of the nursery with my children/bags/coats/ cooking etc they always offer their assistance often helping me to my car. I can see that the staff have good relationships with each other ensuring a positive and supportive network, a good team effort. The administration staff have been outstanding. Trying to work out timetables/funding/costs is confusing and time-consuming and stressful at times. The office staff have been wonderful at alleviating a lot of these worries helping make what seems a complex situation much more straightforward. So I thank you for that.

The carers are fantastic; they’re friendly, engaging and so keen to work with us for the children’s benefit. They listen to feedback and like to hear what the children do at home so they can work with those activities in the nursery setting too. The office team are so very helpful and are always responsive to any queries we go to them with.

Since day one, all the staff were very friendly. Our daughter seems to settle down well and enjoys to spend time at the nursery. All staff make us feel welcome and are easy to approach.

On my first visit to the nursery, I had instantly good feelings about it. Fantastic space, inside and out and brilliant learning areas for the babies and children to explore. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. I couldn't sing the praises of our keyworker enough. I feel really happy leaving our little one in the safe and caring hands of your staff. We LOVE Eylog and I find it v.reassuring seeing our little one enjoying their day.!! So glad we found Tops - thank you!!

Since the take over of the nursery, there have been many changes. It has been a difficult time, but the staff have made sure the children have been well cared for, with reduced disruption. The changes have been positive. New equipment and cook school, which my daughter loves.

I couldn't recommend more highly - particularly for any child with some additional needs where the willingness of the nursery to focus on individual needs is even more vital.

I am amazed at the nursery, my son was a very shy undeveloped boy, who on his first day came home happy and none stop talking about school. He is a different child and loves his days there. The teachers are so patient and understanding and care for him very well! He has made friends with both children and teachers thank you, guys!!

My child uses the Holiday Club at Salisbury and he loves it. They have lots of activities and keep the children busy while still having lots of fun. The staff are very friendly and it is really good value.

Since changing to Tops Day Nursery - Salisbury, the setting feels more secure, more efficient and more trustworthy with regards to management.

The best attribute is everyone gets involved including management. All have a great enthusiasm and take the time to interact with the children.

The staff have always been absolutely fantastic! It's because of them, the fantastic rapport they have with my daughter and supportive nature they have shown me as a parent that I have stayed alongside them. It's hard to find a setting with staff who are so approachable, enthusiastic and just full of life all the time.... despite rocky roads past.

The additional activities on offer for free and those for a small fee such as Cooking School have engaged our child, encouraged her interests and she is learning to be more helpful at home as she grows and understands the world.

The staff at Tops Day Nursery in Salisbury are amazing. Our twins are so happy there and they love the carers. It's so reassuring to go to work, knowing that your children feel safe and loved with professional and caring people. The carers and admin staff are always happy to talk to parents and are open and honest. They work so hard and we are so grateful for everything that they do.
