The nursery environment provides an excellent opportunity for children to learn, play and communicate with other children and adults.

Parents with their children placed in Tops will experience exactly what makes Tops Day Nurseries different, and will be offered flexible booking where they can book to the nearest 15 minutes.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

A number of extra benefits are offered to Tops Salisbury families. As well as flexible booking, Tops also offer Tops Forest School, Cooking School, tooth brushing, Rugby Rangers, Hi 5’s after school and holiday club for school children up to the age of 11 and much more! As part of the Potty Training Academy, the nursery also supports both parents and children to excel with potty training.

During a child’s day at nursery, staff will record important information to share with families, such as sleep times/nappy changes and information about milk/food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a no-added sugar menu to all nurseries, ensuring children start their time at nursery with a nutritional, healthy diet.

Parents and carers are welcome to call the nursery to talk to a member of staff about their child and day at nursery.

A lovely nursery, my two children love coming here and have some lovely bonds with the staff. I feel comfortable leaving them and know that they will be cared for and will get opportunities to experience and learn new things.

My 4-year-old boy's face at the end of every day at Tops says it all. He is happy, challenged and loved by the staff. My daughter attended this nursery for nearly 2 years and she had such a great time and made lots of friends, she ended her time here in September which they held a graduation for which we very much enjoyed, we have never had any big issues with the nursery the staff are super friendly. The only slight
thing that I would point out is I would have liked more observations posted on the parent's online log and maybe updating the outside space wood chippings definitely not my friend but apart from this we as parents were very happy with the nursery... Since my daughter left the nursery she has since attended the high 5's club which she really enjoyed...

Tops in Salisbury have helped to completely transform my son from a shy little boy to a thriving, happy child. They initiated small group interventions to help with his confidence, and he has come on leaps and bounds since. My son’s key worker and a young male member of staff, in particular, have been
utterly outstanding. I just want to thank the lovely manager and her team for the outstanding communication, support and love they have shown my son and all of the children within their facility. We are so grateful.

My 6-year-old son started attending recently, I have struggled so much to find a suitable setting for him as he has ASD, but his carer has been so amazing, gave him a chance, and now I have a happy little boy always welcoming me with a lovely smile on his face when I pick him up, so amazing!

Staff are always friendly, kind and helpful. The nursery is very accommodating to mine and my children's needs. My children enjoy their time at nursery and feel comfortable with all the staff. Our child has attended the nursery since seven months old. The nursery has been fantastic for her. She has always loved the staff and has made lots of friends. For busy parents with constantly changing schedules, the flexible booking the nursery offers takes a lot of pressure off!

The staff are all lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. The food/menu is great, I love she doesn’t have loads of sugar there and that she gets exposure to lots of different food.
However, it is very expensive. I know they have their reasons but it’s difficult to accept the price increase when as an NHS
nurse, my pay rises never meet the same increases.

The staff at Tops Salisbury are excellent, my son loves all his teachers. They have coped so well through Covid and still have smiles on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The nursery manager is just brilliant and is obviously running it just perfectly.

Our two daughters started at Tops Day Nurseries in October and I have been so happy with the care they have been provided. My 3-year-old is always so chatty when I pick her up, telling me all about her day. My 15-month-old is so relaxed at drop off time too so I always leave feeling happy.
The manager
is absolutely in the right role, she showed us around and we were blown away by her and her ideas for the setting.
We also always get such a good handover on collection too, which is so lovely.
I would highly recommend.
