Tops Day Nurseries: Salisbury Nursery

Amazing! Next to none! My son's progression has come on greatly since my last review. He always has a smile on his face when leaving and tells me about his day and just loves the setting. Nothing is too much for management, either assisting with financial queries or helping where possible. I am looking forward to seeing more development.

Staff are always friendly, kind and helpful. The nursery is very accommodating to mine and my children's needs. My children enjoy their time at nursery and feel comfortable with all the staff. I am particularly pleased with the healthy food options available and the extracurricular activities provided.

Our child has attended the nursery since seven months old. The nursery has been fantastic for her. She has always loved the staff and has made lots of friends. For busy parents with constantly changing schedules, the flexible booking the nursery offers takes a lot of pressure off!

However, it is very expensive. I know they have their reasons but it’s difficult to accept the price increase when as an NHS nurse, my pay rises never meet the same increases.

Our daughter has attended this nursery for over 2-years, and we are incredibly happy with both the setting and her progress. The team at Tops Salisbury clearly have strong bonds with the children they care for, and our daughter loves it there. She is able to partake in a wide range of activities that give fantastic development opportunities, and we are very happy with the regular feedback that we receive.

Both my grandsons have been looked after in Tops Day Nurseries: Salisbury Nursery. The care they have received has been exceptional. Under the leadership of the manager, the team generate a professional environment that is invariably caring and supportive. Children are treated with compassion, kindness and respect. I have complete confidence in the care both boys experience from the staff team and I am very grateful for everything they provide. Thank you everyone.

Tops Day Nurseries: Salisbury Nursery has been great for the hours I keep and the flexibility I need. Teachers are lovely and I find the management had really improved with the new manager! I hope things continue to improve as the current circumstances allow things to return to normal.

My daughter has been with Tops for a few years now and always looks forward to going. I feel she has fun, and I trust the staff to take care of her. Very happy with the progress reports and the focus on outdoor play alongside some learning.

The staff at Tops Salisbury are excellent, my son loves all his teachers. They have coped so well through Covid and still have smiles on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The nursery manager is just brilliant and is obviously running it just perfectly.

A wonderful nursery with brilliant, caring staff! My daughters love going to Tops and settled in well. The team are very supportive of my daughter's learning and development and have also gone above and beyond to provide additional help where needed.

My little boy has attended Tops Salisbury for two years. The staff are caring, kind, helpful and fun. They have taken the time to really get to know my son, and he feels secure in their care. He talks about his nursery carers enthusiastically and looks forward to seeing them. Despite having many children in their care, the staff manage to make each child feel special, and my child’s individuality is appreciated and nurtured. Outdoor play is encouraged, come rain or shine, and, for a little boy who loves being outside, this has been fantastic. The nursery management team is understanding of individual circumstances and has been very flexible and accommodating, which makes all the difference when things go wrong. I’m so pleased we found Tops!

Our son was in Tops Salisbury since he was 10-months-old until he graduated Pre-school. The staff has been an amazing support to us like family, professional, friendly and accommodating (flexible with their schedule, and quick to reply to queries and provide information). They go the extra mile for their care for the children, and our son had loved his time at Tops Salisbury. They offer a good balance of outdoor and indoor plays. We look forward to coming back to holiday club.

My daughter started here in a hurry at the beginning of lockdown as her old nursery closed. I was really worried about moving her with no notice, going straight into full days. However, she settled in straight away and loved it, no tears at drop off etc, which I can only put down to how she was welcomed by the staff, who were so kind to her (and to me!) during this stressful period. There are frequent photos, videos and reports via the log so I get a feel of how she’s doing. They spend a lot of time exploring outdoors, which is great, as she comes home happy and tired! The staff were really supportive during potty training, and she seems to enjoy the food, I like their approach to the sugar-free menu, as she then doesn’t expect sugary food at home either, except for treats. It is more expensive than the last nursery, but the flexible hours and opening on bank holidays are great for NHS staff. I’ve been really pleased with how they’ve looked after her.

My little boy has been attending Tops nursery for nearly a year now, and he absolutely loves it. The staff know what he enjoys and seem to encourage him with these things as well as trying different, new things. I really enjoy receiving photos and videos of what he has been up to through the day. The staff always give a good thorough hand over when I collect him as well as the updates through the log. As a first-time mum, the staff have been amazing with advice or any worries I’ve had about his development, which has really reassured me when I’ve needed it, while all the time not feeling judged.

My son has attended Tops since he was 9-months-old, and he is just about to start school. He has loved every second of his time at Tops; the staff are amazing and so supportive. I feel so lucky to have been able to send him there. Thank you from both of us!

The environment is very friendly and green.

My 18-month-old son has been cared for by the team at Tops since he was 10-months and we couldn’t be happier. The team are professional, kind, caring and fun he’s loved his time there. I am able to drop him off in the morning without worry or concern which allows me to spend the day concentrating on my work knowing without a doubt he’s in good hands.

My son has happily been at Tops for nearly two years. We have always found the carers and staff to be very friendly and accommodating to all kids and their individual needs. We initially enrolled our son because we liked the look and feel of the nursery but most importantly they were able to start early and be flexible with my shifts. He now skips in and hugs whichever member of staff greets us in the morning. He has hearing loss and wears hearing aids and they have always been keen to support his individual learning needs. The choice of activities and meals available are brilliant.

Wonderfully experienced, kind and supportive staff who go the extra mile for children in their care.
