Sixpenny Day Nursery

Our son has attended Sixpenny for the last 2 years and I can honestly say we can't fault our experience in any way! The staff are all amazing, kind and caring people and always so helpful. We will be very sad to see him leave next year. Thank you so much for everything you do for him! I would recommend Sixpenny to anyone wanting a safe, happy, fun experience for their child.

The one of the best nurseries in Devizes! Well run - always good communication in person and through the apps, clean, safe, varied activities every day, hot homecooked meals made on site and lots of outdoor spaces including a large meadow and woods (used for forest school as well) and can drop as early at 7.30am which is very useful when you have a meeting at 8am! Worth the money.

Sixpenny is the most wonderful nursery. Our son has been there since he was 14 months and he's now nearly 3. Over the last 12 months, he's had the most amazing time in Toddlers. The team have been so kind and caring and he's absolutely thrived there. He's recently started in Rising 3s and I know he will also have a fantastic time there. Every member of staff is lovely and knowledgeable. The management team are fantastic too, always greeting you with a smile and knowing the children well. I would totally recommend Sixpenny.

Wonderful nursery, my daughter loves to go to nursery to see her friends and staff and enjoys all the activities and learning sessions. She has come on massively and I couldn't thank them enough for taking the time to care for her.

My 9-month-old son has just started and I felt really bad about going back to work and having to leave him but the girls in Babies have made it so much easier by showing support towards me and being incredible with my son.

I cannot recommend Sixpenny enough. My little boy is coming on leaps and bounds since coming to Sixpenny. He loves all the activities they do with him. All the staff are professional and polite, it puts my mind at ease that he goes in happy and comes home happy.

The experience we have received has been amazing for our daughter, the staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and content in a safe environment. The settling-in process was reassuring and comforting for us both as new parents. Every day we receive the best feedback at the end of the day and the most lovely observations regarding her learning from her key person. The management has been amazing too with the support given and any queries answered. We can't thank you enough for our very positive nursery experience.

I cannot recommend Sixpenny Day Nursery enough. The activities, meals and play areas are all great. The staff are all absolutely amazing, always smiling and happy to help. Our children love it and I feel they are very well looked after.

The car park is mildly dangerous and could do with an upgrade, but this is down to the landlord.

We are immensely grateful for the outstanding experience our child has had at Sixpenny Day Nursery. The staff's dedication to the children's well-being and development, alongside their supportive engagement with parents, has been remarkable. Their effective communication ensures we're always in the loop about our child's day, enriching our family conversations and connections.

Always a great experience - my children love every day there, and the staff are very lovely. There's a great range of activities, and the forest school is great, with all children given the opportunity to get involved.

Myself and my wife count ourselves very lucky to have found such a brilliant nursery for our girls. Our eldest has moved through all the rooms, and we've found every member of staff to be really kind and thoroughly engaged with the children. We love the fact there is so much outdoor space, and the children are encouraged to play and explore outside. Our eldest especially enjoys the forest school, where they spend all day doing different outdoor activities. Our youngest has no qualms about handovers in the mornings and hasn't done since her first week, which is down to how at home she feels with the staff there. However, we don't receive updates on development through the app as often as we used to, so it would be good if that could be looked at. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery we chose.

My child really enjoys nursery and is thriving there, and it is down to the wonderful team that supports him. He especially loves being outside and at forest school, and we are so thankful to the team for all their dedication, hard work, patience and love that they show him. Thank you all so much.

I love the fact my girls come here. The staff are excellent, passionate, creative and loving with the kids. I like that the kids are taught to be resilient and push themselves and encouraged to try and not overprotected in the outdoors. But they are safe and well cared for whilst they develop those essential skills. I’ve seen the development of all of them go up every day they are there. The twins are different children when they come home, seemingly more grown up after every visit. So it’s worth its weight in gold.

Our daughter has loved attending Sixpenny Day Nursery and has enjoyed many enriching experiences. The forest school has been particularly special, as it has provided activities and opportunities which would not have been easily accessible elsewhere or at home. The staff show great care not only for the children but for us parents too, and I am really grateful for the friendly support they have provided. I feel that handover communication has been really clear and has provided us with a good awareness of what has occurred during the day.

He will be going to primary school in September, and we wish to give thanks to the staff and the nursery. It's been a very positive experience.

Since being taken over, I feel it has become too corporate and has lost the charm it used to have.

Utterly brilliant. Both my children have been with Sixpenny from eight months old until starting school and have thrived there. The care, attention and education they receive is first class, and I trust the teachers/caregivers implicitly. I’d recommend (I do!) Sixpenny to anyone.

The staff are excellent, very friendly and supportive. My son loves going to nursery because of the approachable staff and playing in the brilliant facilities. Especially the outside space with woods and animals.
