Sixpenny Day Nursery

My daughter has been attending sixpenny for around 6 months now and after a couple of settling in sessions the dropping off process became much easier and this was down to the hard work my daughter's keyworker and piers done to make her feel at home.

She loves attending nursery and uses up so much of her energy here. She has flourished ever since starting and has become a very confident, sociable toddler.

My partner and I absolutely love recieving updates during the day via the app. We are really happy we chose Sixpenny Nursery and recommend to anyone sending your child there.

The recent refurbishment has improved the equipment

Sixpenny is absolutely amazing! They supported my eldest through pre-school, and now my youngest is thriving in their nursery since 9 months old. My daughter has become so sociable and happy to go to nursery, and the staff have been incredibly supportive through my health issues, providing a real sense of security for my daughter on days I couldn't be there. Plus, the food must be delicious because both my children have eaten so well there!

We were initially a little nervous leaving our daughter having been through a big life change, but from day one, she has settled extremely well and very much looks forward to going.

I can strongly say we love it at Sixpenny. Our daughter has been there since 10 months old and she will be there until heading to primary school in September. She loves it there! It's clean, tidy, organised, fun, adventurous, they learn loads and she always comes home smiling. We are sending our second baby there as we adore it so much and would recommend to anyone needing nursery care in the area.

They've recently done a lot of upgrades and reno work through the nursery - it's outstanding plus the staff are always incredibly helpful and kind.

My son has been attending since the baby room, he absolutely loves it. He's been supported with transitioning through the classes, he's always smiling going in, and the same coming out, always excited to tell me what he's done and show me things he's made. He's currently in the forest school, and is thriving with his speech, motor skills and social skills, I can't thank Sixpenny enough!

Sixpenny is an amazing nursery, all the staff are friendly and helpful as well as professional and great at what they do. My son loves his nursery days and is thriving there too. Nothing is too much for them and they're always willing to help. Iv been using sixpenny for many years for all of my children and will always recommend the nursery to anyone that asks.

We continue to be very happy with Sixpenny. Our 3rd child is now in the baby room, she has settled so well and that is a total credit to the wonderful staff. She is exposed to a range of activities, toys and spaces to play and explore. We really can't thank the staff enough for putting us always at ease leaving our children all day.

The staff at The Old Station Nursery in Devizes are simply wonderful-friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting every child. From the moment we visited, it was clear how much they care about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and valued.

What really sets this nursery apart is their unique approach to learning. With outdoor spaces, woodland areas, a mud kitchen, and even pygmy goats, children have endless opportunities to explore, be curious, and engage with nature. The Forest School-inspired activities make learning exciting and hands-on, helping children develop both skills and confidence in a fun, creative way. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

Sixpenny is such a lovely nursery - our minds at ease from our initial tour. Our child has been in babies for a year now and absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming whilst providing excellent care. The facilities are brilliant, the ongoing refurbishments are looking fabulous and there are great outside spaces for play. We love hearing about what the children have been up to during the day, they regularly get to participate in wonderful experiences like the recent visit of exotic creatures. It also amazes us the variety of food provided by the nursery, providing real peace of mind our child is eating well.

Really impressed with Sixpenny. They do lots of different fun activities with the babies, offer a wide range of food, and the staff are wonderful. Super impressed with the management as well, the manager and her team are lovely people and have put all of my worries at ease when my little boy took a while to settle in. They are super personable, and that really makes a difference.

Sixpenny have gone out of their way to support both us and our twin boys in their transition to nursery. Nothing is too much trouble. Our boys are in Babies 1 and we know each day that the boys are happy and stimulated in a student-centred environment. My daughter has loved her time at sixpenny nursery! The staff are all amazing and focus all their time ensuring the children have the best time while in their care! The facilities are incredible and their outdoors space is a big win for my little girl who loves the outdoors! I would highly recommended Sixpenny nursery!
