Kindred Winterbourne Earls Nursery and Pre-School

Our little girl has been going since she was 9 months old and the care and attention that comes from the nursery for both child and parents has been wonderful. As a new mum, I was scared, over-prepared and a little frantic, but the team here were just wonderful from start to finish. She has loved every minute of being here, even at weekends she’s asked to go, took it in her stride from day 1 and never looked back (literally!). She has been so happy to be with them all and during lockdown, missed each one of her group leaders. The team, both in the office and in the thick of the craziness are lovely, they will try everything they can to accommodate your needs and explain everything best they can if you’re ever worried about anything. 2020 has proven to be a really hard year for everyone, but we are so grateful for the steps they’ve put in place to keep our children safe. Continue the fantastic work. We will thoroughly miss you all.

Our children love the nursery and they are really happy when they go. We were worried about our youngest who started nursery recently but the staff there have been brilliant. Professional, dedicated and a nursery we would definitely recommend to any parent. The feedback and updates the staff provide are excellent and help us to keep up with how our little ones are doing.

All the staff have worked so hard to make life as normal as possible for the children coming back on June 1st. My daughter has been so happy to be back and only has good things to say about her new "bubble" set up.

I discovered this nursery in 2015 when looking for a nursery closer to home. After my son completed his preschool year here and his little sister was born, I knew I'd want to bring her here when I returned to work part-time. I can honestly say that throughout the years I've brought my children here, the staff have always remained welcoming and friendly and above all nurturing and professional. And during the last couple of weeks of changes due to social distancing, etc. I could not have felt more confident to bring my daughter back, who has been only too happy I might add. The staff here know the children well and really care. They clearly fill the children's days with varied happy learning and play. My children complete varied nutritional homecooked meals and I have a full report of everything they've enjoyed doing. A few special highlights have been forest school visitor, preschool Christmas nativity, preschool theatre group visiting.

Since starting nursery I have seen a huge difference in the development of my son, he has become confident and outgoing.

I have felt in the last year the overall care and communication is lacking from this nursery. I get a very loveless handover with basic information which always consists of playing outside or playing. There has been a high staff turnover causing my child to have 3 different key workers whilst in sky. The policy with lunch means my child usually comes home hungry. I feel there isn’t very much effort in encouraging the children to eat or finding exciting ways of getting distracted children to try the meals provided.

We are very happy with Kindred Nursery in Winterbourne Earls. Our daughter’s key worker is amazing with her caring, understanding and fun. We feel the staff share in our child’s achievements and successes and take as much joy in them as we do. Our daughter settled in so quickly and loves her days there. The staff make it great!

Kindred Winterbourne Earls is a truly fantastic setting. My daughter absolutely loves coming here. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, and they’ve made a huge effort to make her feel welcome. Every time I collect her I always receive very thorough feedback about her day, from what she’s eaten to which activities she’s participated in. The office staff are also really efficient and are very quick to respond to emails, no matter how small the query. They have a huge variety of learning resources and the children spend a great deal of time outdoors. I genuinely believe my daughter couldn’t be happier at any other setting, and I highly recommend Winterbourne Earls - it’s brilliant!

The staff are always friendly and great with the children. They are always willing to help you and my son loves going to nursery. They always do new activities which is great for your child's development.

Our child is very happy and settled in the pre-school room at Winterbourne Earls. Nurture and positive relationships towards the children are established throughout practice and days are engaging with many activities, stimulating environments (inside/outside) and well-qualified staff promoting exceptional care.
