Kindred Winterbourne Earls Nursery and Pre-School

We fell in love with Kindred Winterbourne from our first viewing, from the open-ended toys to the multiple gardens for my little one to explore! Since my daughter started a few months ago we have just loved the nursery even more as she is always happy to run in to see her friends and the amazing ladies that take care of her. She has freshly prepared home-cooked meals each day she is in along with snacks which is great for me as it is less cooking for me and I know she is well fed. The nursery has also been great with supporting us as my daughter starts to toilet train and making sure she is taken regularly to try and making it a happy positive experience for her. They are great at supporting and continuing our home routine at the nursery making it a home away from home where we feel safe and confident leaving our daughter with people who really care about them. I couldn’t recommend a better place!

I was also very nervous about my little boy starting nursery and the two previously visited he clung to me and sobbed and that was only a visit with me! On visiting Kindred it was just clear it was the right choice and thing to do for him! It put all my worries at ease. The ladies are great, the app is fab too and I love keeping updated on his day. He always runs out full of laughter and happiness telling me all about his day. Lovely nursery and I’m so pleased my boy is getting the best start with them.

We moved into our nursery's area in March 2021 and unfortunately experienced some health issues which meant we had to ask the nursery to take our children full time at very short notice. They were absolutely brilliant and demonstrated great flexibility in providing full-time care. Not only this, but they made our children feel so welcome that they fitted right in from day one. Not an easy feat as our youngest was new to the concept of going to nursery. Every interaction with the lovely team at Kindred Winterbourne Earls Day Nursery and Pre-School has been a positive one and we can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks, team Kindred!

A wonderful setting, full of dedicated and caring staff. My daughter has thrived at Kindred Winterbourne Earls; growing in confidence and learning through play. I have total respect and admiration for the staff and leadership for being able to provide such a warm and inviting environment for the children, even in the most challenging of circumstances throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Special mention must go to key staff from Ocean and Woodland class. It would also be remiss of me not to praise the nursery’s in-house chef, whose meals my daughter absolutely raves about! We shall miss you all when it’s time to move on to school.

We have been so happy with the staff and nursery setting. They encourage outdoor play and independence within a safe environment. The meals are fantastic with a wide variety of flavours each week. They keep us updated via the app and give verbal, regular communication on his progress. The staff are warm, friendly and you can ask them any questions you have. This being my first child at nursery, it has been a lovely experience.

My daughter started nursery in September 2020 after we had a lovely feeling when we visited. As our first baby, we were both worried about leaving her however the manager and the team in the baby room eased any concerns we had. It has been a strange period throughout Covid-19, meaning we only get to chat at the gate. We have therefore valued the information in the app about what she has eaten, been up to during the day and had observations with pictures. I would recommend this nursery.

My son loves his time at the nursery. All the staff are very friendly and are amazing with him. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The nursery give a great variety of nutritional food that he really enjoys.

My son really enjoys his days at Kindred Winterbourne Earls Day Nursery and Pre-School. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Despite the app they use to update what has happened throughout the day, they always take the time at handover to verbally explain what's happened. They have been fantastic during this current pandemic and policies and procedures have meant that I have always felt safe sending son in.

My son has been at Kindred Winterbourne Earls Day Nursery and Pre-School for seven months, since he was eleven months old. Though apprehensive about our first born starting nursery in the middle of a pandemic, we shouldn’t have been worried. From day one he has loved his time in the nest. All of the staff have been brilliant, so caring and we really feel that they know him so well. We are delighted with the nutritious, balanced menu and he eats far more at nursery than he does at home with me! We love reading the daily updates on the app about what he has been up to and the range of activities on offer is excellent. Staff have been really accommodating with his nap routine and the fact he wears cloth nappies, which was important to us. Any queries have been addressed promptly and effectively. We wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started this nursery about a month ago, she settled in immediately and absolutely loves her sessions at the nursery and asks to go every day. There is an app that is used to communicate between staff and parents and it is fantastic, every session I can see what my daughter has been doing including what she's been eating and even how much she has eaten. We are so impressed by every aspect of the nursery and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Since coming back after the lockdown he has come leaps and bounds and always comes home with a smile on his face wanting to share everything he has done at nursery. I can’t thank the girls enough for taking care of him, he always talks about them at home and asks when he can go see them again.

We have been overwhelmingly impressed with everything about Kindred Winterbourne Earls! From the moment we met the staff on our tour, we knew this was the right place for our daughter. The amount of information we receive on the app is incredible and the communication is fantastic. All of the staff are so passionate about what they do and are so friendly and approachable; it's clear they care so much about all of the children. The food menu looks delicious and is always enjoyed; the activities are also brilliant and we've loved receiving artwork home. Our little girl has settled so well, so quickly, and there are always lots of smiles all round at drop off and pick up! We honestly couldn't ask for anything more from a nursery setting- highly recommend.

Outstanding! My little one absolutely adores coming to the setting. The staff are so kind, and helpful; it’s been a long time since I’ve felt able to drop him off somewhere and not worry about his mood when he gets home. He’s thrived academically and socially in the month he’s been at Kindred Winterbourne. Thank you so much!

My two boys (3 and 1) have settled into Kindred Winterbourne extremely well. The eldest had a tough year with a new brother, new house and new nursery to deal with, but the staff at the nursery helped turn around his behaviour when he was unsettled and they’re both now really happy there. We get a great handover at the end of the day, and both boys eat really well so are rarely hungry when they come home. They joined during the pandemic lockdown and it’s clear all the staff are doing as much as they can to make the best of a difficult situation.

I cannot praise you enough, especially throughout the pandemic. I know my son is safe and happy, and I wouldn’t send him anywhere else.

We are genuinely very sad to be leaving the nursery and must stress this is down to personal circumstances making the location no longer practical for us as a family.

The facilities and activities are great and my daughter absolutely loves it! I would highly recommend any family to consider Kindred as their nursery of choice.

After feeling very anxious about my little one starting nursery, especially after this year's current events, I couldn't have been left feeling happier after just the first settling session. All of the staff members made me feel at ease straight away, keeping everything as normal as possible and ensuring my little one felt comfortable during his initial visits. He has settled in so well and I know this is down to the girls being as amazing as they are at what they do. We love the updates/pictures on famly and think the team use this well to communicate everything about his day.

The return after lockdown was very smooth and the kids have been none the wiser, they just look forward to going in. We would definitely recommend this nursery. Thank you to all the staff.
