Kindred Winterbourne Earls Nursery and Pre-School

Kindred Winterbourne is an amazing setting, the rooms are warm and welcoming, being a first-time Mum I looked at 5 plus settings but after visiting here I knew this was where I wanted my daughter to be. From my initial tour with the manager who was very welcoming and made me feel at ease, she was able to answer all my questions. Since my daughter has been at Winterbourne her speech and confidence have grown massively and she is becoming so confident. She happily goes in every day. The app is amazing and updates throughout the day so I know what she has been up to.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery and often goes running in without saying goodbye. She sleeps well at nursery and has bonded with the staff. Very happy we chose Kindred Winterbourne.

Kindred was the perfect place for our daughter to learn to be with teachers and not her parents for the first time in preparation for school. All the staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and approachable. They treated our daughter like a member of their own family, she was treated with kind words and actions, encouraged to be herself and celebrated when she achieved something, even if it was a small something. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff there, everyone knows and cares about all the children, even those not in their direct care. Kindred is a special place and a wonderful environment in which children flourish.

But most of all, I want to praise your incredibly committed members of staff, who have all left a lasting impression with us. Mums can be the most difficult people to deal with, yet nothing has ever been too much for your team to put in place in my son's daily routine with you. One could always see the genuine dedication and caring nature all your members of staff had towards the children, real assets to your organization! Thank you all for helping my son grow and blossom into the confident and happy child that he has become.

I do think the nursery is super expensive but that’s standard I guess.

They keep parents updated on progress made on terms of development as well as daily updates as to what little ones have been involved in. They are quick to contact us if any issues arise.

We absolutely love the nursery, and so does our daughter! She has been there for one year now. I feel very comfortable leaving her in their very capable hands. The Famly app is excellent and is kept up to date. Communication at pick-up and drop-offs is great. We have always been notified about any accidental bumps/illnesses/etc very promptly and dealt with professionally.

The staff are great, friendly and dedicated to the children. My daughter is very happy at Kindred Winterbourne Earls Day Nursery and Pre-School and is learning lots and her confidence is growing. I feel very confident in the staff to leave my child in their care. Overall we are very happy with our experience at Kindred.

My son has been at Kindred for 2 years and honestly, he has been so happy with everything there, as have I. The staff are always very welcoming, calm, patient and extremely hard working (I couldn't do what you ladies do - bless you all!) I feel confident saying that my son has developed and progressed so well these past 2 years with the help of everyone at Kindred.

A wonderful setting, with friendly caring staff who go above and beyond. My child comes out happy everyday and there are frequent updates about what they get up to each day. They also spend lots of time focusing on the development of each child and look for input from home to make them individualised. Lots of outdoor space and promotion of outdoor activity which is great.

Good afternoon, my review relates to general high professional standards of all staff on a consistent basis throughout the year. It constantly amazes me how loyal and driven all staff are on behalf of their children (our children). My son is rising 3 years old and has been attending Kindred Winterbourne Earls Day Nursery and Pre-School for just over a year. It is a pleasure to witness his constant development and interaction with staff and children which evidently has been nurtured by all key workers/care givers at your location on a consistent basis. Your attention to detail and passion with young ones is evident and I feel as a parent I am in the safest of hands when entrusting you with the care of my son. We wish you and your staff continued success and remain extremely lucky to have you on our side.

Having experienced many nurseries as a military family Winterbourne Earls stands out as a lovely setting. My son is always happy to go in as he is greeted by the lovely caring staff. They know him so well and are really supportive and encouraging of his own personality traits and interests. The activities are often curated around what the little ones are interested in at the time, and the staff are also responsive to the world around them. This week they have made the most of the cold weather, carrying out experiments with freezing and melting outside and telling stories of Jack Frost to spark their imaginations. Staff are very responsive to communication and use the app well to share pictures of what they've been up to. We're really pleased with the care at Kindred Winterbourne Earls.

We have two children here and they are happy and settled. It is well run and most staff are friendly and willing to engage with us. The food is extremely good and fresh, cooked on site. The nursery appears well run and responds to questions quickly. I would ideally like there to be a bigger range of activities available. Some nurseries offer things like cooking or swimming for instance, as well as trips offsite. Overall, the standard of care is good and now that Covid-19 restrictions are released we are starting to be able to go into nursery again for events, which is lovely, and these events are well organised. We get great observations from the staff and love this insight into what the children do. I have two small negatives, one criticism would be the number of our children's clothes that go missing, despite having names in, and the other is that sometimes drop off and pick up can be very slow and inefficient. However, overall we would recommend this as a friendly and caring nursery.

My 3 year old daughter currently attends Woodlands Room and it’s fantastic. She loves the variety in play spaces and activities. On Tuesdays they have an outside ballet teacher come in to teach the kids - without any extra charge. The meals are all freshly prepared and cooked on site which provides a whole balanced and nutritious meal. My daughter loves her teachers - she enjoys all the activities that are carefully thought out to be engaging and educational. I know when my daughter starts primary school in September Kindred Winterbourne Earls will have prepared her for her new adventure. I will always thank them for the care and love they show my daughter - and us as her parents

Kindred Winterbourne - is everything and more than we hoped. We have recently moved to the area and I decided to go back to full time work. I knew I would miss my daughter, which I do, but with the app and how lovely and engaging that staff are I always feel part of her days!

I can’t emphasise enough how fantastic Kindred Winterbourne Earls is. From our very first enquiry to our last day, the team has been warm and welcoming, and maintained constant communication. They take the time to understand your child’s routine, needs, and interests ensuring a home from home feel for your child and enabling tailored development activities. My son has progressed through three rooms in the setting and has loved each one in turn. The staff are fantastic and he has flourished into a confident, social little boy whilst in their care.

From day 1, the nursery have been fantastic. They have fully understood our child’s needs and provided us with detailed updates throughout the day of what they have been up to. They have been amazing in supporting our child’s medical requirements and helping them adjust to their new environment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone and am 100% satisfied with our choice to send our child there.

We fell in love with Kindred Winterbourne from our first viewing, from the open-ended toys to the multiple gardens for my little one to explore! Since my daughter started a few months ago we have just loved the nursery even more as she is always happy to run in to see her friends and the amazing ladies that take care of her. She has freshly prepared home-cooked meals each day she is in along with snacks which is great for me as it is less cooking for me and I know she is well fed. The nursery has also been great with supporting us as my daughter starts to toilet train and making sure she is taken regularly to try and making it a happy positive experience for her. They are great at supporting and continuing our home routine at the nursery making it a home away from home where we feel safe and confident leaving our daughter with people who really care about them. I couldn’t recommend a better place!

I was also very nervous about my little boy starting nursery and the two previously visited he clung to me and sobbed and that was only a visit with me! On visiting Kindred it was just clear it was the right choice and thing to do for him! It put all my worries at ease. The ladies are great, the app is fab too and I love keeping updated on his day. He always runs out full of laughter and happiness telling me all about his day. Lovely nursery and I’m so pleased my boy is getting the best start with them.
