Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton) is a purpose-built setting with rooms that are tailored and resourced for the practice of pre-school learning. Three main age groups reflect the different stages of development, which themselves are enhanced by a large outdoor play area.

Sound pre-school education is assisted by good health and nutrition, with a fresh and seasonal menu produced by an experienced nursery cook. Though independently run, the nursery has strong links with the local college, including with many students who are parents.

It's has been almost two years since our son started attending Mama Bear's Nursery and Pre School and I couldn't be more confident that we made the right choice.
It has been a fantastic journey full of fun, learning and discovery. The variety of activities is brilliant and all the staff are very friendly
and professional at all times.
Excellent and nutritious food while the safeguarding procedures are great.
A wonderful place and staff that my son is surely going to miss.
Well done and Thank you for all the care and hard work.

I love the engagement my son has with both the staff and other children. He is always happy and loves telling us of his daily experiences when he gets home. Recently (due to the arrival of his little sister) there have been a couple of occasions, where he has not wanted to be left in nursery at morning
drop-off.


Needless to say, every time I run away !! he settles within minutes and starts getting on with his day.
The staff always go the extra mile when required to inform us that he has settled, which keeps my wife happy and allows her to continue with her day without regrets.

My girls really love to go to the nursery, they are really learning many things! I have already recommended it to many friends of ours because we like everything about it: not only the activities that are planned but also the fact that every child is helped to reach the maximum in everything.

I can't recommend the Taunton nursery higher. The staff there are helpful, caring and supportive. My little boy started in the baby room last November and had the usual struggles settling, but the staff were fantastic at reassuring me and giving him the time he needed. They were always flexible with
his routine and provided lots for him to play and grow. He has really come on lots since starting and we are really sad that his time here has come to an end.

I find Mama Bear's to be a fantastic nursery, well organised with the children's best interests as the number one priority. Very friendly and helpful staff who are only too happy to provide help and advice if asked. The nursery is of a good size that offers the right level of interaction with the children
and is ideally located in Taunton to meet our needs. Greater flexibility on available days would be good, but the limited availability is a consequence of how good the nursery is.

Everyone at Mama Bears is completely devoted to the care of children, they have endless enthusiasm, humour and patience. It is small enough to be personal but large enough to allow children to engage in group activities and develop numerous friendships. Activities are varied, outside play is encouraged
and feedback is provided daily.

Lovely nursery, staff friendly and helpful. Give me good daily written and verbal info on my child's day.


The eylog they use is useful.


Inside space is good with some fantastic hand built role play areas.


They do a good range of daily activities including messy play and cooking which my child

loves.


Outside space could be bigger but is fine. Some more outdoor activities/trips might be nice.


My daughter is always keen and happy to go in, which says it all for me.

Very happy with Mama Bears Taunton. My son has been there for 4 years and has enjoyed it very much. So much sometimes that he doesn't want to come home when we pick him up. Friendly staff who keep them entertained throughout the day. My son is always tired at the end of the day through learning and
play.

All staff are approachable and very friendly. Levels of communication between staff and parents are always open. The nursery provides a wide range of activities and all staff present as showing a high level of commitment to the development and welfare of the children.

Since my daughter has been attending Mama Bears, she has become a more confident, little girl. Staff are always happy to help in trying to make sure my daughter is happy when I drop her off and she is always happy and content when myself or daddy collects her. The daily info sheets are helpful so we
know what activities my daughter has been up to during her session. My daughter has also become less fussy with food as she sees other children in her session eating the same which helps so we then get the same food for home to encourage her to eat what she has eaten at school.

Mama Bears have clearly enhanced my son's development since he started attending.
He looks forward to going and has a great relationship with the staff and the other children.

Excellent staff and facilities. My child is always very happy to go to nursery. He takes part in a range of stimulating activities whilst there and seems to particularly enjoy the messy play. I am always impressed with the level of enthusiasm and energy from the staff and I cannot fault the communication

This is the second child we have sent to this nursery and they have both been very happy.
She always has good fun and talks all about it when she comes home.
She enjoys the food.
She likes going on the walks around the local area.

Dedicated staff who obviously take great pride in what they do. As a result my daughter has always enjoyed coming to Mama Bear's and has really thrived here. The activities show great variety, the food is good, and she has always felt very welcome and safe. Well done!

Very good setting with loads to keep children occupied. All staff are very friendly and approachable. Equipment available is to a high standard and very up to date. The children are able to spend a lot of time outdoors having lots of fun.

My daughter loves coming to nursery/preschool at mama bears the staff are friendly and caring they tell me everything shes done that day and what shes eaten and tell me about her progress and milestones shes achieved the food is very nutritious and they get to try new things they do lots of new activities
too.
