Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton)

My daughter is very happy at this nursery. The range of activities is broad. My biggest criticism is the invoicing. More often than not my invoice is incorrect, I find this frustrating as my daughter attends the sam hours every month (with the exception of November lockdown).

My daughter has been going 2 full days a week since September 2020 and has really come along with her learning so much. She’s grown in confidence and also eats a lot more foods that she would never have eaten before. I love the app, so I can see how she is progressing, foods that she is eating (and enjoying) and also the picture that we can see. I also love that she can bring all of her artwork home to us. The contact from the nursery, especially in the pandemic, has been amazing. They got the news to us so fast, that they’d be open to all as the third lockdown was announced. I’d highly recommend it. Also, have friends with a daughter at another branch, who absolutely loves it.

Fantastic nursery, I would definitely recommend. This nursery setting really suits our family, they communicate really well and my daughter is very happy, initially in the bouncy room and now in preschool, in both, all staff are very friendly. We moved from another setting and they were really good with the transition. My daughter also has special dietary requirements which they accommodate really well.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mama Bears. I have a little boy who has just finished pre-school, and a little one in ‘Bouncy’s Room’. Both kids have always been very happy to go off to ‘school’ and I have every confidence that they are safe and well cared for there. The site itself is relatively small, but they do such a fantastic job of always making it fun and welcoming. The inside is always full of kids' artwork and great displays that are regularly updated. Outside, they have a playground and a really nice grassy garden that they can use in the summer months. During such an unsettled year with the pandemic, Mama Bears have provided the children with a safe and consistent space, and I have been extremely thankful for that. Thanks all for your hard work.

My daughter has just had her last day at nursery, she’s leaving to go to school. She has absolutely loved the past three years at nursery. She was always really happy to go in. This was despite a three-month break from nursery due to lockdown, it didn’t dampen her enthusiasm for nursery at all! Credit must go to all the staff who made it extremely easy for her to go back and made it seem as normal as possible. My daughter has made lots of lovely friends at nursery. As well as being happy she has learned a lot at nursery and her enthusiasm for learning has increased further. She can write well already and again she has had plenty of opportunity to practice her ‘mark-making’ at nursery. She also has a wide repertoire of songs and stories she has learned at nursery. I would highly recommend Mama Bear's in Taunton to anyone looking for a nursery.

My daughter finishes at Mama Bears Taunton this month, I have a son who was attending just before her also, I have therefore been going to Mama Bears weekly for the last 4 years. I’m not sure who is more devastated about the end in this era, my child or me! We as a family have appreciated Mama Bears so much, words cannot express how moved I have been by their efforts to help both my son and daughter to explore both their English and Welsh cultures, the efforts the staff have made to learn some Welsh! I cannot rate the setting enough, as a qualified teacher and currently a pre-school worker myself I can see that they use every opportunity to support the children to learn happily through play and exploration. We will miss Mama Bears, it holds special memories for us. Thank you for all you have done for us, caring for our babies and helping them reach their potential ready for school, Mama Bears Taunton.

Due to my working hours, I do not always get to see the full capacity of what Mama Bear includes, however that being said since my son started last year he seems really happy and content with his days there. The staff have always been very smiley and friendly towards me and so far I have no reason to complain or criticise this learning environment.

Both of my children are extremely happy at Mama Bears and look forward to going each week. It’s a struggle to get them to come home at the end of the day! Their learning is noticeably better since they have been attending. I would not hesitate to recommend MB’s to other parents.

Very pleased with care of two children at Mama Bears. Friendly staff who are always approachable. My children love going to nursery and are happy to stay there for the day. Always lots of activities carried out.

Wonderful friendly staff, a great place for children to be and learn, and a safe environment, my son loves it there.

A fantastic nursery, I cant praise them enough. They have shown my son amazing support since he's started and has learnt so much at Mama Bears. All staff are so caring and friendly, you can feel comfortable leaving your child and know they will be happy and nurtured. Will be hard to leave in the summer as my son loves it there.

My daughter really enjoys her days at nursery. The staff are always welcoming, happy to see her and she responds to this as she is always smiley. She even gets excited as we approach the building. She gets the opportunity to engage in a variety of different activities which have helped her development and learning.

Staff are friendly and Caring. Nice to leave your child there knowing she will be cared for and looked after.

My daughter is very shy so was nervous when looking for a suitable nursery. Everyone at Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton) has made us feel welcome and my daughter absolutely loves going!

All staff at Mama Bears Taunton are excellent. Always happy, always friendly and able to answer questions. Our daughter thinks they’re great. Food and activities always sound good and report both informal at the end of the day and formal through the app etc are always informative and clear. Couldn’t get much better.

All the staff are wonderful at the nursery and I have full confidence leaving my child in their capable hands. She comes home after a day of a variety of activities, fun and educational. She eats very well and has made some lovely friends.

Excellent staff and very excellent nursery. They have all the patience in teaching my child and every time I collected my child she’s always on about that she’s happy and really enjoyed her school.

I am always impressed by their energy, organisation and kindness. All the children are busy, happy, and encouraged to build skills and independence. I couldn’t be happier and I regularly tell friends and family how happy I am with her nursery.

Love this nursery, my son is extremely happy here, compared to feedback from friends whose children go to other nurseries we definitely made the right choice. Staff are brilliant, menus for children are great with lots of variety, activities are great and eyLog is really useful.
