Our son (2 1/2) has been attending since 10 months old. He loves going to nursery and names all staff as friends he plays with. All staff are kind, loving, nurturing and understanding, not only of the children, but also of the parents. If upset at drop-off (at the start or due to changes at home) staff have given lots of attention and effort to settle him quickly. Also, when this has upset me staff have taken the time to let me know he was happily settled playing/reading. The activities are engaging and varied, he has developed and learnt so much during his 3 days a week at nursery. He eats well and has a healthy and varied diet. Staff try to spend as much time outside with the children as possible, which is great, especially for high energy boys, such as mine. Recently some fantastic internal promotions have been made which has made me even more confident about sending my second boy in the new year. The staff make this nursery and I would highly recommend it to any parent.

My daughter loves her time at Mama Bear's nursery in Taunton. She's always excited to participate in the variety of activities they have on offer every day. I can see her communication and social skills improving every day that she attends the nursery. The staff are fantastic and really enjoy interacting with the children. Regular updates are provided on the app so you can see what your little one is up to throughout the day.

My son started attending mama bears when he was 8 months old, the staff are AMAZING! They are so kind and caring and treated him as part of a big family! He wouldnt be the kind, polite and clever boy that he is today without the help of the staff who helped him to reach his milestones and create many amazing friendships!

All the staff have been loving and so welcoming since we started at mama bears last year. I have felt confident to leave my child there and know they are cared for and loved by staff. It's lovely to see how excited my child is each morning we go to nursery and how happy and comfortable they are there. I have recommended mama bears on several occasions to friends with little ones.

My son is attending Mama Bear's Day Taunton nursery. The girls are very good, kind and professional with my son and my son it is very lucky to be in their care, he is enjoying been there. We always have updates about him on the app.I highly recommend this nursery.

I can't fault Mama Bears Nursery in Taunton the staff have been amazing since my little boy started. They are always friendly and helpful and go above and beyond! Always well informed of changes and updates regarding my little ones day nothing is ever too much trouble and questions asked are answered quickly and efficiently. Thank you to the Team in Taunton for all your hard work and caring for my little man!

The staff at Mama Bears are second to none. Over the last 3 years they have become like extended family - they are really invested in our child's day to day experiences and outcomes and ensure he has the best time when he's with them . The facilities are good, with plenty of outdoor play space and a huge range of toys available. Activities are varied and fun - our son always comes home full of stories about the wonderful things he's got up to.

Our eldest has been attending for nearly 3 years and our youngest nearly 1 year and all the staff have been amazing with both. They work really well with the children and their parents to help the children progress and help work on the areas they need extra attention. I couldn't ask for a better nursery.

Our experience of the nursery has been exceptional. From the settling in period until now, which is three and a half months the staff have been very sweet and professional. There have been a lot of changes this year however despite that the care my son has had has been top notch. Thankyou!

My son has been going to mama bears for over 12 months and I would recommend mama bears to anyone that asks. All staff are all so welcoming, friendly and attentive and it is a joy to see my son being looked after so well. My son had difficulty leaving me initially but they always ensure that he has consistent welcoming and keep me updated throughout the day. He has had the same keyworker throughout and feel very fortunate for the continuity. One staff member in particular is incredible and goes above and beyond, she is attentive and always knows what his favourite toys are. All the staff are very exceptional and feel very lucky that my son goes to this nursery.

The staff at this nursery are incredible. My daughter has been going to this nursery for about 18 months and I have always found them to be incredibly kind, friendly, positive and caring! They are always so approachable and understanding and I have full confidence that they know my daughter as well as I do which is really reassuring. My daughter had trouble with her leg which impacted learning to walk, but I will always remember how they celebrated her taking her first steps with as much joy and passion as we did as her family, really goes to show how invested in the children they are and that their care is absolutely genuine. You hear so many horror stories about different nurseries, and we are so lucky that our little one got a place at mama bears and I never have to worry about how she is being treated, for a parent you cannot put a price on that type of reassurance!

Our daughter (2.5 years old) has been attending this nursery since June 2025, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. She adapted very quickly, thanks to her wonderful and caring teachers. Since English is her second language, we're amazed at how much she has already learned in such a short time. She loves it so much that she wakes up every morning asking if it's time to go to nursery! The nursery team is always helpful, reliable, and keeps us well informed. They guide the children with patience, kindness, and so much love. The staff are truly amazing - it's clear they genuinely care about each child's well-being and development. We especially appreciate the many creative learning activities they provide, making every day exciting and fun for the kids. It's such a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been with mama bears since May, they have been nothing but amazing. They always made me feel so comfortable leaving her and ensures I'm up to date with everything. At the moment my daughter is finding it hard to leave me but Paisley is always there to help and she settles extremely quickly and loves everyone in the bouncy room. Honestly so happy and grateful with everyone at Mama bears!

My son has been going to Mama Bear's Taunton nursery for 4-5 months. He is really happy there. The room leader and all of his day carers are really warm, very polite, and extremely knowledgeable and they always took the time to tell me about my son's day (what he's been up to, what activities he's enjoyed, how long he's slept, what he's eaten, and anything else that might need to be flagged). He loves doing painting, playing in 'the magic garden', and riding on the tricycle outside, as well as playing with his trucks and dinosaurs. My son sometimes won't eat his main lunch so it's good they also have good snack options mid/ late afternoon. The uploads to the App are also a great way to see developmental steps and snapshots of your child's day. It is a well managed nursery and I have also found their accounts person to be very prompt and professional. All in all I think they provide a very good nursery service.

My granddaughter has been at Mama Bears since October 2024 at the age of 3 months. She settled in immediately thanks to the lovely, welcoming and caring staff. The setting is small and cosy which keeps it peaceful and safe. The staff are always vigilent in their care duties and are clearly well trained and happy in their jobs. I can highly recommend this nursery

I will like to use this medium to give a Loud shout out to the entire staff of your mama bear nursery Taunton branch. Those ladies are the real VIPs. Their friendly nature and heartwarming smiles speaks volumes of the delicate and intentional care they give to my children and other children in the nursery. I see them cuddle these little ones like they gave birth to them. I ve never seen a thing like it. I can't list all their names but my flowers goes to them all. The bouncy room goddess, the preschool icon along side the baby room ladies, the kitchen lady who makes wonderful meals under very hygienic conditions (i know this because my boys have never had to react negatively to anything they eat) and of course the managers who have been nothing short of professional in running the nursery. Thank you ladies and the family appreciate you all.

Both of my children attend Mama Bears and it’s a lovely setting with really attentive staff. The staff genuinely care about my boys and are interested in everything about them. One thing I’ve really appreciated is that they’re open to mimicking home routines/environments to ensure things such as naptimes go well! Both my boys love going to Mama Bears and it’s also great to see them both having lots of fun during the day with the app updates.

Staff are excellent at accommodating our needs for our son. Fantastic communication throughout the day, so we as parents know what our son is doing throughout the day. Great selection of meals throughout the day to help our son explore new flavours and textures that we usually wouldn't try at home.

My 2 children love Mama Bear's and all their staff. I’m always confident that they’re well looked after and learning new thing’s especially since my eldest moved up to preschool, he’s been coming home with so many new skills and words. The communication between staff and parents is fantastic too.

All the staff here are very welcoming and caring. All of them are extremely helpful and nothing is ever too much. Made my children feel at ease and adapted situations to make it easier for them. Love the uploads and snapshots of the kids throughout the day and it’s great knowing they are having a good day.
