Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton) is a purpose-built setting with rooms that are tailored and resourced for the practice of pre-school learning. Three main age groups reflect the different stages of development, which themselves are enhanced by a large outdoor play area.

Sound pre-school education is assisted by good health and nutrition, with a fresh and seasonal menu produced by an experienced nursery cook. Though independently run, the nursery has strong links with the local college, including with many students who are parents.

Mama Bear's Day Nursery have excellent staff who are very committed. Our child loves going to Mama Bears. There are a lot of activities and daily updates with photos are being sent on the app. Can highly recommend!

My daughter has been going to Mama Bears, Taunton, for just over a year now and she is thriving! Her communication and speech have improved incredibly. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Communication is brilliant and parents are always kept up to date. Seeing photos and having updates
via the app, is also reassuring and seeing your child happy, learning and making friends. We couldn't feel more welcome by the team.

We have been using Mama Bears in Taunton for 7 years now and both of our children have, and do, absolutely love going to nursery. The staff are so warm and welcoming to our son on arrival which is reassuring when we aren’t able to go into the nursery due to COVID restrictions. It is harder to get to
know the staff and manager now but I hope that will get easier as restrictions ease. The floor staff we do know are absolutely brilliant and have always been so caring towards our children.
The feedback on the app is great and so lovely to see what they have been doing during the day.
We would recommend using Mama Bears Taunton!

We were new to the area after a career change brought us to Taunton. We couldn’t have wished for better people to place our 6 month boy with. The team are always so happy and friendly, they genuinely care and welcomed us with open arms.
The parent app is fabulous, I get to see what he’s eaten, what
he’s been doing and even his nappy changes!

Mama Bear's Nursery are such a brilliant nursery they really do understand what my son enjoys and how he likes to play.
All of the staff are always friendly and professional I would recommend this nursery to family and friends.

Could not be happier with Mama Bears! The staff are friendly, caring and professional.
Activities are fun, engaging and are teaching little one so much.
The interactive app is brilliant, helping me to feel part of the nursery day.

Considering my child has possible special needs the nursery has been brilliant at accomodating and working with myself and other professionals to ensure the best support for my child. They regularily update me on my child's progress and are always ever so friendly in person.

Our daughter has been going to Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton) for the past couple of years and absolutely loves it. Our son has just started in the baby room and understandably, being a Covid-19 baby, he has struggled a bit with the transition but the staff have been amazing. The communication is
great, with updates throughout the day on the app and then at pick up. The enthusiasm that the staff have when they tell us something that our children have done that day is lovely, it gives you real confidence that they know and care for them.
I really can not recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Taunton) enough, a fantastic and caring nursery.

My son and daughter love going to Mama Bear's in Taunton. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and approachable. They do lots of different activities and the children are really well looked after. You can download an app that gives you info on sleep, eating, nappies etc as well as photos and observations.

Our first child attended Mama Bear's about 10 years ago where the team were fantastic and she enjoyed every moment of her time there, when it came time for our second child to find a nursery around 8 years later we did not hesitate to place him with Mama Bear's, the same warm welcome, wonderful environment
and great team members our son is enjoying the same experience his big sister did for over a year now and we are very grateful for their effort especially with the added pressures of the past 12 months.

Wonderful staff, lovely setting. My 2 boys have both been to Mama Bear's Taunton and they both love it. My eldest, who is 8, still talks about how much fun nursery was. My youngest is in preschool and is thriving.
My only negative is about the separate finance dept based in Bristol, they give me incorrect
invoices nearly every month, it is very frustrating having to chase to get this corrected each month.
Mama Bear's Taunton is a wonderful place for a child to learn and grow and I would highly recommend.

Despite being very unsettled at 2 previous childcare settings my son absolutely loves Mama Bear's. We have no difficulty getting him to go in any morning. I really like the fact that although there is a structure there also seems to be flexiblabity to accommodate the individuality of the children. All
the staff are so lovely, professional and accommodating. I am so glad we made the move to Mama Bear's as not only is he really happy but I also feel it will prepare him brilliantly for primary school next year.

My son is very happy at Mama Bear's, the staff are very carrying and very welcoming. I can also see daily what he has been doing at nursery because they post all the time and they always tell me how his day was. When he first started it was hard because he always wanted to go back in and play with his

My daughter is very happy at this nursery. The range of activities is broad. My biggest criticism is the invoicing. More often than not my invoice is incorrect, I find this frustrating as my daughter attends the sam hours every month (with the exception of November lockdown).

My daughter has been going 2 full days a week since September 2020 and has really come along with her learning so much. She’s grown in confidence and also eats a lot more foods that she would never have eaten before. I love the app, so I can see how she is progressing, foods that she is eating (and
enjoying) and also the picture that we can see. I also love that she can bring all of her artwork home to us. The contact from the nursery, especially in the pandemic, has been amazing. They got the news to us so fast, that they’d be open to all as the third lockdown was announced. I’d highly recommend it. Also, have friends with a daughter at another branch, who absolutely loves it.

Fantastic nursery, I would definitely recommend. This nursery setting really suits our family, they communicate really well and my daughter is very happy, initially in the bouncy room and now in preschool, in both, all staff are very friendly. We moved from another setting and they were really good
with the transition. My daughter also has special dietary requirements which they accommodate really well.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mama Bears. I have a little boy who has just finished pre-school, and a little one in ‘Bouncy’s Room’. Both kids have always been very happy to go off to ‘school’ and I have every confidence that they are safe and well cared for there. The site itself is relatively
small, but they do such a fantastic job of always making it fun and welcoming. The inside is always full of kids' artwork and great displays that are regularly updated. Outside, they have a playground and a really nice grassy garden that they can use in the summer months. During such an unsettled year with the pandemic, Mama Bears have provided the children with a safe and consistent space, and I have been extremely thankful for that. Thanks all for your hard work.
