Partou Hucclecote Day Nursery and Pre-School has a long-established reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Gloucester.

The nursery offers outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and is open from 8am to 6pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located on Hucclecote Road, a short distance from Gloucester Business Park, the nursery enjoys the benefit of a large character property with high ceilings, large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children love and thrive in.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, 2 to 3-year-olds, and Pre-School children, furnished with 'age-appropriate' toys and resources, ensuring they provide the best standard of care, development and education.

They operate a Key Person policy, ensuring that your child is cared for by a member of staff who gets to know you and your child really well.

Carers place great emphasis on creating a loving, nurturing and warm environment for your child.

Totally delighted with this nursery! My 2 (aged 3 and 2) have come on leaps and bounds, socially, emotionally and physically. Attending 2 mornings a week - it's a mission to get them to leave for pick up! Recently they transitioned to older groups and it's been flawless. Staff preparation created easy
settling in stages with lots of enthusiasm and excitement from the children - no reluctance or wishing to go back to their familiar rooms. The key person for each child has been highly motivated, caring, ensuring a personal touch and specific interest in developing and maximising each of my children's interests and skills. Every member of staff knows my children, from the wonderfully professional, friendly manager, to bank staff and even the lovely chef! They take the time to say what my children have been doing and there is never any rush to just drop and leave or collect asap.
The nursery offers great facilities and activities to keep young minds stimulated and developing, but overall, the fantastic staff that create an unbeatable environment. I cannot recommend enough.

A wonderful nursery wanting to help nurture your child to be all they can be. Daily reports on what your child has done help to make parents feel at ease and know their child is safe and happy. I especially love the reports on how your child has developed since they have been at the nursery as well
as goals to achieve to help your child develop and grow. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

This nursery is fantastic. My little boy has a number of additional needs and behaviour problems and they are so good with him.
The whole setting has trained in Makaton to help him communicate and make him feel happier.
They are a very caring and supportive setting.

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our chosen nursery for our son. I'm not sure what caught my attention first, the incredible, friendly staff or the wonderful effort made by key personnel, ensuring our son's needs are met.
Every day you walk in and the day's activities are laid out, you get
a glimpse of what your little one will experience. As a parent, all you want is to see your child enjoy the experience.
Our son has double portions for lunch because the food is so good, and he's not even a big eater.
We are so happy with the nursery, the management and our son's progress and development.

The Little People Day Nursery (2-3 years) are very friendly, welcoming and any changes/comments are quickly sorted. For example, my little girl was fussy with food and not sleepy at night, so they tried fewer snacks and less sleep. My little girl loves the staff at The Little People Day Nursery and

This nursery has a lovely welcoming feel to it. The rooms are light and spacious. The staff are wonderful and have got a natural way with the children.

My son has had a lovely time here. He struggled to settle at first but the team looked after him really well and helped him feel happy and secure. They use his own interests as a basis for his learning and activities and he has a good bond.
My daughter also thoroughly enjoyed her 4 years here before

Fabulous nursery. My daughter loves attending. I feel the children are well looked after and are always happy, playing beautifully and well supervised. The food is exceptional and I often have envy. My daughter's progress is obvious since starting here and well documented and reviewed.

My son joined initially when he was one. As my son was extremely poorly when he was born he spent a considerable time in scubu. He had a extremely strong attachment to me mum and would scream and cry terribly when I dropped him off for settling in sessions.
I could not praise this nursery enough not
only for their patience and persistence with him but with their creative skills in discovering everything he enjoys to ease translation when he left me. After a considerable amount of settling in sessions he is now well settled into the nursery and we have never looked back.
The staff are extremely friendly- creative - always full of fun and smiles (which I'm sure is no mean feat after a long day with my child let alone all the others).
Thank you little people day nursery you deserved your outstanding Ofsted rating as you really are superb!
And most importantly my son loves it- and regularly talks about the great staff on a regular basis.
