Blossom Lodge Day Nursery

My daughter has attended Blossom Lodge since January 2023 and her development has come on leaps and bounds since joining. The staff seem caring and have been really patient with my daughter, especially during her early months when she had some medical requirements. She was also very wary of other children when she first started and her social confidence has massively improved following encouragement and patience from the staff too. We get regular updates via the app which is always reassuring, they do varied activities with the children, and any communication is always quickly responded to. Would highly recommend.

Two of my grandchildren have/are attending the nursery. I am a retired early years practitioner who worked with children with additional needs. I therefore can be very critical of day nurseries. I have been and continue to be very happy with Blossom Lodge. Both children are happy and settled in very quickly. The keyworker system is well used which enables staff and children to know each other. Transitions are handled well when staff change or as children grow and friendships are fostered. The communication between the nursery, the parents and other people working with the children are very good enabling joined-up care. For the first year of their time at the nursery I looked after my grandchildren one day a week and enjoyed singing the same songs, reading the same stories, exploring the same themes - helping them to generalise their learning. Most of all I love how happy they are to be there!

We have been so happy with Blossom Lodge Nursery. Our child has thrived under their care. The activities are really well thought through and all the staff genuinely care. We get regular updates throughout the day which is really lovely as well.

Our daughter started nursery at Blossom Lodge in January. We have been extremely impressed with the nursery so far. All the staff are friendly, seem to genuinely care about the children, and our daughter loves it.

The best thing I ever did was put my daughter into Blossom Lodge, she was only 7 months old when she started. The staff are unbelievable, so kind and caring and my daughter now 9 months loves it. She never looks back, she’s learnt a lot since being there. Great nursery all around.

Staff are amazing, couldn’t ask for more they genuinely care for the kids and always go the extra mile. The set-up is good and there is lots of variety for the kids, they are always excited to go to nursery.

The nursery provides a comfortable setting with friendly staff who are always welcoming and make the children feel at ease. We know our children are safe and being looked after in an encouraging learning environment that provides them with a wide range of activities to develop their skills.

Both of my children are very happy at Blossom Lodge. It is always spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic, and take such lovely care of them. The handovers are always really thorough, as well as communication through the app with live updates and sometimes photos. I have been amazed by how much they learn too, including writing, counting, and drawing. It’s amazing being able to drop off young children and knowing they are in a place where they are happy and cared for.

Lovely nursery setting. Our one year old is currently attending and really enjoys it. The staff are incredible, kind and caring. We get regular updates and pictures. They have animals (hamster, bird and tortoise), which my youngest loves. Communication is great between staff and us. We also utilise the early drop off and pick up by 6pm. Thank you.

We absolutely love Blossom Lodge! Having moved from another local nursery, they have welcomed our two children and they have settled instantly. The staff are so caring and attentive - nothing is ever too much. They know our children so well and adapt the curriculum to their interests which they love! The rooms are bright, clean and purposeful. Their outdoor space is great and the children are outside in all weathers! Highly recommend!

Blossom Lodge has not only looked after our children exceptionally well but has also taken the time to communicate and reassure us as the parents. The team are incredibly friendly, efficient, professional, and most of all, caring. My children’s needs are always met, and they are happy and thriving in the setting provided. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent or guardian.

We highly recommend Blossom Lodge. Our son absolutely loves going to nursery and has come a long way since attending. The staff are attentive, caring and supportive with our routine or any questions we have. They’re great with their communication, and constantly update us whilst he’s at nursery via the app. This is reassuring as you can see how much they’ve eaten, and how their development is coming along, and the pictures so show how much fun he’s having.

My daughter started in April last year, since starting she has flourished! Her communication skills have only got better and are being extended daily. She has learnt how to do makaton, she's been having Spanish lessons, she can write her name. These are just a few to name that she has achieved since starting Blossom Lodge. Staff love the children like they are their own and you couldn't ask for more as parent. My daughter has gained so many friends since being at nursery, her social life is better than mine! The garden area has had a massive addition of the climbing frame, and it makes such a massive impact to the children's physical abilities. Overall I cannot fault Blossom Lodge and the staff are incredible!

In summary, Blossom Lodge is failing from the top down. It is clearly putting pressure on good staff members by making them pick up more work without guidance or rewards.

I cannot recommend Blossom Lodge enough. We have used a few different nurseries for our children in Cheltenham and Blossom Lodge was by far the best - fabulous care, excellent communication, unbelievable learning outcomes (which we were not looking for or expecting at a pre-school level), enthusiastic and positive staff.

My son was very happy in this setting and so were all the other children. Blossom Lodge's "Family" app was brilliant for helping us to understand how he was getting on. This was useful as he started during the Coronavirus outbreak and we were not able to settle him in ourselves at the start of each day.

Thank you to Blossom Lodge. They had such a positive and nurturing influence on our son.

The staff at Blossom Lodge are amazing! They took the time to get to know me and more importantly my son. They made a huge effort to help him settle in when he moved there from another setting. Since being at Blossom Lodge his confidence has grown hugely and he has made noticeable progress in all areas of development. Thank you to all the staff in the pre school room at Blossom Lodge!
