Overall Experience

I have had two children attend The Lodge nursery - my elder daughter finished last year to attend school and my younger daughter is in the toddler room. Both children have loved their time at nursery, they adore all of the staff - almost all of whom have been there since my elder daughter started 5 years ago. The rooms and facilities are great, the children are always engaged and happy. I can't fault it in any way and would (and have already) recommend it to friends.

Overall Experience
All the staff are well trained, caring and competent in their roles. My son took a while to settle in to the nursery setting but all the staff tried to make this an easy transition for him and were very reassuring. Communication between the nursery staff and myself is fantastic and I feel confident he is being well looked after whilst he is in their care. I feel that I am kept well informed about what he has been up to.
The amount and choice of activities that are provided to the children is good and my son is always excited to tell me all about what they have been up to.
I love that the nursery have a chef who prepares healthy nutritious food for the children. My son loves it so much he regularly has seconds!

He has been well supported with toilet training, expanding his language skills and developing his social interaction. I would happily recommend this nursery.

Overall Experience

Both my children have attended this nursery from 9 months old. During the past four years the thing that has stood out most is the staff's loyalty and dedication to their vocation and genuine care and affection for the children. Each room benefits from established and experienced staff. My daughter loved her key workers in Caterpillars and Butterflies and is now flourishing in Sunshine Room. My son left the nursery last year, and despite being a young summer baby was well prepared for school by his Rainbow pre school experience. Management are also very approachable and supportive and in touch with the needs of parents and children. Lots of new toys and resources, I couldn't ask for more for my childcare.
