Tops Day Nurseries: Poole Nursery

The nursery staff are lovely, approachable and attentive. My son loved his key worker, she was a real gem and this made it so so much easier for me.

I was worried at first as he could be very clingy and sure of new people but from day one he has absolutely loved, he has the odd day where he doesn’t want to talk to anybody but the staff are always amazing with him and I’ve noticed that when he’s at home just how much progress he is doing and I love the eylog as it always keeps me up to date on what my son has been doing and how well he has been eating his lunches so if he isn’t as interested in his dinner some days I know that I don’t have to worry

My daughter loves it here. She moved after her old nursery closed down suddenly April 2017. The staff helped my daughter to quickly settle in and make new friends. She gets to try lots of different activities including cooking. Daily diary through the app means I know what she has been up to on a day by day basis and development steps are recorded and passed on as they happen.

Tops in Poole is a great nursery for our 11-month-old child. The nursery is a decent size with a beautiful outdoor garden area. The toys and sensory things (I'm a Dad, excuse the lack of lingo) the children get to experience and play with are plentiful, massively varied and in good condition. The care and feedback from the staff is excellent, they use the EYLog app which is normally completed before I've even got home from picking our little terror up. The opening hours and flexibility that Tops give is second to none - an absolute godsend to us. Value wise, Tops is actually one of the best value for us. My son always gets very excited when we get to Nursery and the staff seem genuinely pleased to see him, this makes it a pleasure to hand him over rather than a pain. Would recommend Tops Poole to anyone.

Otherwise, staff are extremely helpful, understanding towards aims, potty training wise, speech development wise, and learning abilities.

They are so flexible on hours, they are quick at responding to emails, I also like it that they do offers on discounts for child care. I feel my child is developing so much since he has started at Tops Day Nursery.

Tops Day Nursery - Poole has helped me out when I've needed emergency childcare.

The office was extremely helpful in fitting me in and the nursery staff welcomed my children as if they've known them for a long time.

The deputy manager in investigators was exceptional dealing with my daughter and her separation anxiety and she settles straight away with her.

They have both loved their days with you and desperately want to come back to play :)

My daughter is fairly new to the nursery but the staff have helped her settle in well and all seems to be going well at the moment. My daughter enjoys her time and seems to be developing good relationships with staff and other children.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and seem to be well trained. I particularly like the App eyLog and my child's daily diary which is great to read each day so that I know what she's been up to. Her interaction with other children and speech is also improving daily and the staff seem to look after her very well. They are also firm but fair with the kids which I also think is important.

My son really enjoys his time in the nursery by the fact he is always happy to go in and shows he feels happy and comfortable there. The sugar-free policy is great and the menus encourage children to try all foods. He has a great relationship with his key worker who keeps us well informed of his progress. The EY Log system really helped ease the anxiety of leaving him when he was 9 months old and now he is 3. It is still lovely to see him enjoying activities.

They have helped her get over her fear of animals by bringing a pet rabbit to nursery to live. There is also lots of others areas they have helped her with and I can honestly say I'm 100% happy with My child's care.

Friendly staff, always happy to help. Both my children have attended the nursery from age 1 until school age and have had no issues with anything. Flexible hours for shift workers and my little girl loves mixing with her friends each week and is excited to attend each session.

Tops in an outstanding nursery and really doesn't get enough credit for the great work it does. My two children attend Tops and I couldn't be happier with the care they receive. They both love attending nursery and have formed great bonds with the staff and other children. My only regret is that I didn't find Tops when my first child started to attend nursery when he was 1. He is now almost 4 and has been attending Tops for nearly 2 years. Being able to leave your child at a nursery, knowing that they are in safe hands is hard to find - but at Tops, they make it easy for you. They do great activities with the children including cooking, Forest school, football etc and they set up fun play scenes for the children to get involved in. Lots of effort goes into each day and it really shows by the amount of fun the children have. Thank you Tops for being great - you have made it easy for me to go back to work.

We have had a nice experience with Tops Day Nursey Poole. They really take good care of all the children at nursery and educate them well. I am completely satisfied with their hospitality and services. My daughter is very happy at the nursery and always participates in a wide range of activities.

The staff are friendly and helpful and always have a smile ready.

The staff has taken extra effort to celebrate our festival. I have been very pleased.

There is no other nursery at least in Poole that is as flexible as Tops.

Our eldest daughter left this nursery totally prepared for the next stage of education. Tops Nursery Poole is a lovely place. Our youngest daughter loves coming here just like her elder sister did. It's very well equipped for children of different ages. Our Children have always had something new to tell us about what they had learnt, both progressed so much. The staff are so warm and friendly, they really look after the children and form good bonds with them. I would always recommend this nursery. I couldn't ask for a better place or better people to look after our children, as I say both have been so happy coming here and that's what really matters.

My middle daughter now attends tops and is very happy and has settled well making friends and the staff there are very helpful and friendly!

I've always been worried for the time when my son will start nursery, wondering myself if the nursery chosen will be good and if he will be happy there but once he started going to Tops Poole all my worries have gone and we are both happy. The staff is brilliant, flexible and I absolutely love them for the fact they send me a daily report, pictures and precious informations about my son's development.
