Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool

Our first child was in this same nursery. The staff are very professional and caring, always helping us and informing of our child's progress and what has happened during the day i.e nappy changes, food and drink intake and activities. They are very hands on and creative.

Both my daughters have attended Stepping Stones since 2012 and love/loved it.

The staff are all always so friendly and warm towards both parents and children. It is a homely environment with excellent learning opportunities both inside and out. Children are given the opportunity to partake in sports and dancing too as part of their varied day.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Stepping Stones.

My son absolutely loves Stepping Stones. As a full time pupil a nursery that were caring and honest was an absolutely must have for us. I am so impressed with the effort all the staff making with the kids and the parents to make everyone feel welcome. I never have to worry that my son may not being having a good day or that he isn't being learning and having fun with his second family.

My daughter joined the nursery in 2013 when she was 6 months old and is now in pre-school preparing for 'big school' next year. She loves nursery and has gained so many lovely experiences from being at Stepping Stones. The staff are kind and caring to both the children in their care and the parents trusting them to provide a safe and happy environment . All the children seem happy and my daughter has made lots of good friends at nursery. She will miss it when it's time to move on to school.

My daughter started at Stepping Stones as a baby in 2010 and my son has been going since 2013. We are long serving and very happy customers! I have personally recommended Stepping Stones to a number of friends over the years (who have all been happy) and wouldn't hesitate to say what a brilliant start in life Stepping Stones provides. The friendly, highly trained and caring staff are all extremely professional and yet approachable. The space itself is warm, welcoming and full of happiness and fun, with a safe and spacious outside area for the all important fresh air. While the fees are not inexpensive, they do reflect the high standard of care and level of service at this Montessori led nursery, and in my experience it helps children develop at their own pace but ensures they are ready to thrive in a school setting.

All 3 of my children have been to this nursery and I would never consider another. The staff are always happy and friendly and they provide the best care possible. My children have always looked forward to going to nursery as they always have so much fun. My oldest is now 10 and we are applying for secondary school and the grammar school is where we have applied for and I'm crediting this nursery for a part in this due to the amazing start he had. Amazing place, amazing staff!

The staff at Stepping Stones are wonderful and they're always pleased to see the children each day. The consistent approach by all staff is second to none.They show a keen interest in the child's development whilst delivering the care and comforting they sometimes need.The children always have lots to tell us about the many fun activities they have been doing.The development in our children has been amazing. Each week our two year old comes home with new words - his vocabulary is amazing for his age. Recently they have been practicing their Christmas play and the enthusiasm is fantastic.The fact that the staff have been at Stepping Stones for a long time speaks volumes!

Such a fabulous nursery, could not recommend it highly enough! The staff are extremely professional and friendly. They treat your child as an individual, listening closely to their needs, routine, likes and dislikes.

My daughter loves her sessions at Stepping Stones and surprises me on a daily basis with the things she has learnt. Her Key Worker and I often have chats about the areas she needs to focus on and the nursery staff always feed back to me what she has enjoyed that day. Not to mention their commitment to Early Years Foundation Stages of Development.

The nursery is also keen on outside play and taking the children on walks to the local woods or pet shop. I am also regularly given pictures of her handy craft work to take home which proudly I display on the fridge!

Since she started at the age of 8 months I have never felt anxious about leaving her and have always found a loving and warm atmosphere, with plenty of cuddles on offer. What more could you ask for!

My child has been extremely happy at Stepping Stones. He has been gently nurtured and has a most lovely bond with his key worker and the other staff which makes him feel secure and always happy to attend nursery. Their care for the children is heartfelt and sensitive.

He has thrived and development flourished with encouragement and stimulating ideas for learning.

We would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

Our son has been at stepping stones since September and we are so pleased with our choice of nursery. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. My son enjoys his time at the nursery and we feel the nursery have really helped his development.
